Thanks to the first thread by Jesuswhatnow I have not had a drink for a long time.

There are lots of us on here, please lurk, post, whatever does it for you. If you are worried about how much you drink and your inability to stop when you want to, then someone on here can probably understand.

OK here goes but not very exciting. He is a teacher, has 3 DD's and split from his wife in Feb. He seem sVery kind and easy to talk to, good looking and generally lovely. I made it clear at the beginning I wanted to be just friends because I know my head is soo messed up from last relationship but I really like this guy.

To make things more complicated the guy I had my second date with on friday is tooo keeeen.

Tomorrow I hope that your GP practice will pull out all the stops and give you the support you need with not drinking and a certificate to stay off work while you get better from the 'flu. Hope sleep comes (if not already in the land of nod).

btw - next week sees the beginning of my party season - as part of my economy drive i am digging out all last years stuff and not buying anything new to wear - i feel very virtuous! (dh feels very relieved! )

noteven if i was you I may even consider going to the doctors in person and telling them at reception that i wanted an emergency appointment. That might not suit you but its another option.

Pretty good thank you - had lovely roast dinner with DD - DP away in France at the moment - watched crap TV and that's about it How about you - how was your day? xxx

Where to start. ROFL. Sunday is a ME day. Dont ever do much but last week was a week when my elder daughter needed me and I was there. So this weekend for ME has been SO important. Unfortunately I'm absolutely loaded with cold.

Im a real family person. Very happily divorced with 4DC (all adults) and grandchildren.

Isnt the weekend always bad for tv - esp if you dont like that dreadful prog (XF).

I usually have a roast dinner while eating out with my elder son (Its only £.69 each and you couldnt make it for that).

I'm hoping I manage to sweat another bit of the cold out of myself tonight and i dont feel so bad tomorrow. (I hate having a runny nose and runny eyes ROFL).

That price for roast dinner should read £3.69 - i should have proof read before i pressed post button.

You ok, Silver? I am a bit jealous about you and yours dashing here and there to France.

I still haven't got an oven, so less of the lovely roast everythings.
