Radio Times Ambridge Diary 1st - 5th May 2022
Things are in flux at Grey Gables, where a new face is making their presence felt. For the staff, it’s a time of uncertainty, with Tracy now regretting her plain speaking, while Roy is worried that ill-considered comments he made in the past will now come back to bite him.
The veteran cricket team, meanwhile, is limbering up for their first test, but worries are soon mounting that they won’t have a full side. There’s excitement for Ed, though, as the Borchester Show returns - though he needs Eddie’s help to choose his potentially prize-winning Texel sheep. Plus there’s a new adventure on the horizon for a long-established resident, and an olive branch is proffered by an old nemesis …
Daily Mail Weekend Magazine Archers Update 1st - 5th May 2022
Over in Grundyland, they're reaching for the carding brush, dagging shears and the finest sheep shampoo money can buy as Ed gets his lambs ready for the Borchester show, and decides which of his flock is the fairest of them all.
A similar activity is going on at Grey Gables, where the staff, feeling they're under close scrutiny, trot around looking bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, hoping for a bonus.
It's the same for the veteran cricket team, who are washing their whites, limbering up and hoping the opposition won't notice that Old Father Time has already given some of them a bit of a pasting.
Elsewhere in the village, an old nemesis appears, an olive branch is proffered and an era ends.

Grey Gables is being shut down for refurbishment at the end of next week, and Tracy has been ringing up all their customers cancelling their bookings. Why is Adil hanging around like bad smell?
