Need a visa, that is. I can’t see what l am typing whilst typing on this keyboard so keep making mistakes. Still, my Apple consultant is arriving here tomorrow so he can sort the keyboard for me. I hope!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 15/12/2017 21:42

Thanks, Gump! Toby receives a shocking instruction - Jill takes the Brookfield shotgun and orders him to leave Ambridge? Or to marry Pip? Oh dear oh dear oh dear, I can't see any good coming of this change of heart of Pip's. [glum]

Bekabeech · 18/12/2017 17:06

Thanks Gruach. What happens to Pat or Henry? On Christmas Day?
Do Justin and Lilian get married? Or is Justin arrested? (I wondered if Tony was foreshadowing last night.)

Bekabeech · 21/12/2017 13:35

After last night I repeat what is going to happen to Pat and or Helen and Catherine shelter, on Christmas Eve?

AuldHeathen · 28/12/2017 15:26

Oh dear, more so called good times for Alice, but not on a school day at least. Is Honeysuckle where Adam and Ian reside? I wonder what‘s up with Susan and Emma. Which job is Emma embarrassed at? Maybe chez Peggy? Something about Christine?

Gruach · 31/12/2017 17:57

Hmm ... Wonder if Freddie might be going to South Africa.

*Radio Times
6th Jan to 12 Jan
*
Ruth may be promising to support Pip, but there is still a large obstacle to overcome: Jill. The Archer matriarch doesn’t exactly look fondly on the Fairbrothers, so what will be her reaction when she learns the truth. Will she accept Pip’s state of affairs or push her further away than ever? At least David is making an effort to be reasonable – however, a confrontation gets out of hand when he and Toby finally come face to face.

Helen reaches the end of her tether with the kefir, while Tom and Susan are forced to face the cold, hard facts: the stuff just isn’t selling. And Roy worries that Lexi is being taken advantage off – but he is stunned when she has her say on the matter.

And Radio Times also gives us a peek into what will happen in 2018.

Secrets never stayed buried for long in Soapland, so expect the truth to come out about who left Matt Crawford for dead. It’s a revelation that leaves one resident with a terrible dilemma… A crisis with the Aldridges will have long lasting consequences, but will the family unite? Alice’s behaviour causes concern, and Roy and Lexi’s relationship grows more serious. And will Adam and Ian finally achieve their dream of being fathers.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 02/01/2018 17:21

Thanks, Gump! That suggests to me that Lexi is indeed going to volunteer to be a surrogate. Pity. Also maybe finally someone is going to notice that Alice drinks too much.

Gumpendorf · 02/01/2018 18:41

Gumpendorf · 11/01/2018 17:44

Radio Times
14th to 19th January

Now, this sounds dramatic: a swim in the Am looks set to take an horrific turn for Kirstie, all of which results in the authorities quickly descending on the village and one resident landing themselves in serious trouble.

Elsewhere, Roy fears for the future of his relationship and Lexi makes an emotional decision with far-reaching consequences – but is she doing the right thing? Toby has a crisis of conscience and feels it might be time to cut his losses. And Tom’s kefir failure has put him on a downer, but it soon apparent that this is just the start of his troubles. Peggy and Pat struggle to offer words of comfort, but Susan has a bright idea that may just lift his mood.

Anyway intriguing hints

The Am must be freezing at this time of year. Why would Kirsty go swimming when she has access to the pool at GG. Bizarre. Apart from a bit of light birdwatching she‘s never shown a huge interest in the big outdoors. It makes me wonder if the new outgoing ed has forgotten that Stefan did turn up. Or is itMatt? Rob? There aren‘t any other missing humans or animals, are there?

Is it possible that this time Jenny kills her mother‘s mog. Hence the shock followed by an apology. Ooh, exciting. Not really.....

BikingBeatrix · 13/01/2018 17:25

Maybe Justin succeeded in bumping off Matt after all? I cannot remember where Justin was when Matt headed off last time. Lilian saw him into a cab?

cathf · 13/01/2018 17:26

Peggy says goodbye - it couldn't be Christine's body in the Am, could it?😮😬

BikingBeatrix · 13/01/2018 17:50

It could, yes. She‘s been upset and embarrassed over the scam. And she‘s gone mute. Maybe the actress wants out. Oh dear. That‘s sad.

Bekabeech · 13/01/2018 23:00

Kirsty started wild swimming a year or two ago, but it wasn't mentioned again untilNew Year. But it looks as if that will finally have a point.

Gumpendorf · 17/01/2018 14:04

Radio Times
21 Jan to 26 Jan

Toby is fearful that he’s been pushed out of his baby’s life by the Brookfield Archers, but his mood is lifted when Pip issues an unexpected invitation. But when faced with the reality of his future, Toby starts to doubt that he has what it takes to step up as a father.

Gossip is spreading through the village following events at Home Farm – but you can expect things to go from bad to worse for the Aldridges. Jennifer, for one, has some serious grovelling to do, while Brian ends up facing even more of a backlash.

And Jim turns detective to find out the truth about Tumble Tussock – only to be met by Joe protesting his innocence. Cue a stand-off between the two adversaries…
