And so it continues. We still have one long-term prediction from the start of the last thread that has not yet come to pass - the burning down of Lower Loxley.

But there is still time...

It would in a way be quite realistic for Helen to go back to Rob, unfortunately it happens only too often in RL. But the difference is that so many people know about what is going on - there would be no shortage of people reminding her that he's a rapist, he did his best to get her imprisoned for a long time, and he wanted to get both children off her. Also I suspect that if she showed signs of wanting to give him free access to the children social services might feel they had to step in.

It's hard to believe but the Archers is still trying to get mileage out of the gin distillery storyline. Who cares if Toby can get this venture off the ground, or about Toby in general? Just have him make up with Rex and then – if possible – manoeuvre them both out of Ambridge.

Of more interest is Kirsty taking the chance to set Tracy straight on Roy's feelings: he doesn't want to date her but he's too polite to tell her himself. However Tracy takes this is a sign that Kirsty obviously wants Roy for herself!

Finally, Rob is acting antsy in a conversation with Justin. As Rob nervously clock-watches, the Damara boss starts to wonder why his attention is being diverted. Just what is on Rob's mind?*

Thanks, Gump! That last bit is intriguing. It reads as if Rob has set a bomb on a timer and is waiting to hear the explosion at Bridge Farm while he is a long way off, but that may just be my overactive imagination at work.

I give up the will to speculate the minute I read the words 'Toby' and 'Rex'.
