So many possibilities.... A visit from the Titcheners Snr? Baby of the wrong gender? A ruined wedding? Re-housed Grundys? RuthRex?

BYOSnowman · 17/11/2015 19:05

I sometimes wonder if I only listen for the carters

Scarydinosaurs · 17/11/2015 19:06

I was cheering on Tony.

Helen sounds fully broken now. It's so sad.

BYOSnowman · 17/11/2015 19:13

Really? Really? What the hell was that scene between Neil and Susan? That was like two other people imo

Boo.

And why the eff have we got all this nudity nonsense to live with for the next however many weeks.

Stickerrocks · 17/11/2015 19:15

So is Susan starting to stir, picking up on last night's tension?

Helenluvsrob · 17/11/2015 19:15

Toomuch gels make excellent cathedral choristers ;) well mine do !
You have to be experienced to tell cathedral trained girls from boys these days, and they are often better as they are older

LillianGish · 17/11/2015 19:29

Unfortunately, when that suspension of disbelief goes, you do start to ask yourself why you spend so much time listening to this nonsense.... or at any rate I do. hmm Not just you gaspode. You've made me realise I don't think it's real anymore Sad

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 17/11/2015 20:09

Sorry, Lillian. Here, have this new emoticon I've just noticed. Chocolate I wasn't sure what it was till I looked at the list, to be honest, but now I see that it's meant to be a bar of chocolate. You can probably get very much better where you are, of course.

LillianGish · 17/11/2015 20:16
Grin
BYOSnowman · 17/11/2015 20:27

Do you think MNHQ got sponsorship for that emoticon?

BYOSnowman · 17/11/2015 20:41

How crass

LyndaNotLinda · 17/11/2015 21:15

Cadbury's chocolate is horrid - it was pretty bad before the whole Kraft debacle and it's worse now.

I still want to know if Susan's got a massive tattoo. Or perhaps a pierced tummy button?

Minimammoth · 17/11/2015 22:04

The Cadbury ....stuff. Is not, I repeat not, chocolate.

GruntledOne · 17/11/2015 22:35

Sorry, MN, but that emoticon just doesn't say "chocolate" to me. It doesn't say anything, to be honest.

Joskar · 17/11/2015 22:37

Neil is such a sweetheart.

BYOSnowman · 17/11/2015 22:42

If it wasn't for the branding on it I would have thought it was a bed

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 17/11/2015 23:02

Joskar. I know.

GruntledOne · 18/11/2015 09:00

I didn't see any problems with that scene between Neil and Susan. They've always had a good relationship.

Let's hope that now Radio Susan has caught on to tensions with Knob she'll start broadcasting it and a few people will start making connections.

redshoeblueshoe · 18/11/2015 09:26

How nice not to have to listen to HelRob, Ruth, Jill, Pipsqueak
in fact most of them,
oh dear is it time to give up listening ?

ppeatfruit · 18/11/2015 09:29

To go back to Tony's rebellion, A giant BOOP point for it; I LOVED the fact he stood up to Knob for many reasons, not least the fact that the older furniture he loves is REAL and organic Grin not like the fakery that symbolises the pretence at 'normality' that the sociopath Titchener characterises.

harryhausen · 18/11/2015 09:33

Long time listener (20yrs!) and long time lurker here. Hello Smile.

I love this thread. It adds another layer of enjoyment to my Archer listening. You all have fabulous insights. I'm loving/hating the Rob/Helin SL at the moment.

Can I ask a stoopid question though? What on earth does BOOP and SOK stand for? I've been trying to work it out.

GruntledOne · 18/11/2015 09:47

SOK: Spawn of Knob. But I think she needs to be Knobella for evermore.

BOOP: BitOutOfPractice, a poster who once rightly pointed out that we were all being too negative and we ought to acknowledge good points. Hence anything good in TA is a BOOP point.

ppeatfruit · 18/11/2015 09:50

Hello and welcome harry Grin SOC stands for Sean O' Connor the 'newish' editor. Boop stands for Bit Out Of Practice a lovely poster who was saying that there was too much moaning and negativity on this thread (which I agree with) can you tell? Grin

BYOSnowman · 18/11/2015 10:59

I didn't feel the Susan Neil convo sounded like them in the way it was written. I'm not finding the writing very good atm and that doesn't help with the suspension of disbelief. They're only getting away with it where they have particularly good actors.

Agree they are probably the most solid couple in ambridge! Soc had better not get any ideas about splitting them up!

ppeatfruit · 18/11/2015 11:09

Oh Gruntled We cross posted there, I missed spawn of Knob!!! silly me [grin Poor little unborn child she might be lovely Grin
