So many possibilities.... A visit from the Titcheners Snr? Baby of the wrong gender? A ruined wedding? Re-housed Grundys? RuthRex?

Brilliant. Thanks for explaining that. I too, don't like too much moaning about TA.

Ruth is really doing my head though atm.

Gruach · 18/11/2015 11:52

Agree they are probably the most solid couple in ambridge! Soc had better not get any ideas about splitting them up!

Whenever I hear a happy couple in a soap saying how much they love each other I wonder if they'll both still be living come the New Year ...

NotdeadyetBOING · 18/11/2015 12:05

Shameless place marking. God knows where I've been these past few threads. Dying to meet Tichners Senior and have some light shone on what must be a DEEPLY shady past. Arse sorry, couldn't help myself

NotdeadyetBOING · 18/11/2015 12:11

Also - I miss Lilian. Can she have a decent storyline some time soon, please?

vixsatis · 18/11/2015 12:14

Is it Neil and Susan who have "chilli con carne" night?

Gruach · 18/11/2015 12:15

Yes!

vixsatis · 18/11/2015 12:21

Active thread in chat about making chilli. Hope they know what they are getting themselves into.

We did get a Lillian laugh at the Calendar Girls meeting. Glad that she seems to be back on form (albeit rather miraculously, what with being left penniless etc)

Neil and Susan have chilli con carnal nights, I think.

trevortrevorslatterfry · 18/11/2015 12:36

BOOP for Susan and Neeyul - I loved their cheeky conversation Smile.

Also as always Lynda's obsession dedication re the Xmas play rings very true to me based on an amateur director I know and love.

NotdeadyetBOING · 18/11/2015 12:39

Chilli con carnal. Brilliant! Grin

And I heard (and enjoyed) the dirty Lilian laugh. Just left me wanting more…. Still think the Matt 'disappearing' storyline needed more tidying up. Is it never to be mentioned again? Is she needing to frequent food banks?

trevortrevorslatterfry · 18/11/2015 12:40

babybarrister that is brilliant!

BoreOfWhabylon · 18/11/2015 12:41

Thank you babybarrister

That is the funniest thing I have seen in a long long time. Just brilliant!

I hadn't watched the subtitled clip - but it is brilliant! Pity I can't share it with anyone...

enochroot · 18/11/2015 13:13

I'll never again see Rob in my mind's eye as anyone other than Hitler!

ppeatfruit · 18/11/2015 13:16

babybarrister OMG that was sooooo funny my stomach's hurting from laughing so much!!!!I think we all need a good laugh, thank you Grin

vixsatis · 18/11/2015 13:23

Talking of characters who seem to have disappeared into the ether....we haven't heard from Kathy for ages apart from when she interviewed Kirsty. She used to always be popping round to see Pat. Pat could have been unburdening her doubts about Knob to Kathy..

Lilipot15 · 18/11/2015 14:14

I thought Kathy sounded different when I heard her most recently. Although that could be because it is so long since we heard from her!

FinestGrundyTurkey · 18/11/2015 14:33

"Don't insult me with your varnish solutions"

Brilliant

Thanks, babybarrister Grin

(I'm sure I heard not so long ago that the Downfall people tried to prevent these parodies being made but clearly they were wasting their time)

mummytime · 18/11/2015 14:56

Well Downfall should be happy as the parodies lead us to watch the original - which is a good film BTW.

DadDadDad · 18/11/2015 15:22

I think we had that discussion about Kathy when she popped up a few weeks ago and agreed there had been no change in actress. (Am I allowed to say actress rather than actor?)
