Knob throttlers form an orderly queue at Blossom Hill Cottage! Discuss the Archers on the Official Thread
PseudoBadger · 08/10/2015 09:37
Do you know that I was 3 months pregnant when the first thread started - DD was 2 yesterday
That must also mean that Poppy Grundy's 2nd birthday has passed by unremarked upon...
Gruach · 08/10/2015 09:46
Happy Birthday LittleBadger. (Tell your DM she's brilliant at thread titling ...)
Oh yes - noticed yesterday the SWs had got themselves into a pickle over cow (?) and baby names, necessitating a tedious explanation of which Poppy was being discussed.

DD was 2 yesterday
Nooooooooo! Where does the time go whilst I spend all day on MN? Happy birthday to the badgercub.
redshoeblueshoe · 08/10/2015 09:54
Does this make me officially a KnobThrottler ?
but I loved the cheesey puns
ppeatfruit · 08/10/2015 10:15
You don't have to 'advise' me this time Gruach
Thanks for the new thread Psuedobadger does that mean you're a glis glis pretending to be a larger mammal? ? Blimey your LO is 2 !!
sorry for a cliche but where DOES the time go?
DadDadDad · 08/10/2015 10:23
Going strong - including that first thread started 24 April 2013, this is the 36th thread in this series, and this is post number 34,217 !* [shock[
*Counting method will have ignored some posts made at the end of one thread after the follow-on thread was launched.
EBearhug · 08/10/2015 10:36
Following on from the last thread, and the ratatouille pronunciation - please can someone explain what is meant by an actor's penguin moment?
BYOSnowman · 08/10/2015 10:48
Sorry that was me
Benedict cumberbatch did a voiceover for a nature doc on penguins and managed to pronounce it wrong (and often) the whole way through. He got some stick for it in the press a year or so ago
squeaver · 08/10/2015 13:05
Never been a Jazzer fan but he does a good job of being a foil to the Bridge Farm lot.
Surely he would be discussing Knob down The Bull??
songbird · 08/10/2015 13:47
Ahoy hoy, thanks for the new thread pseudobadge, another one joining the chorus of '2? mini badger can't be 2?!?!?!?'
ppeatfruit · 08/10/2015 13:59
Talking about Jazzer (who I forgot is staying at Bridge Farm) he's 'forced' to eat stuff like ratatooley. Doesn't Pat notice he's not keen on 'health food', though I'm into health and hate the vile stuff and just feed him jacket pots and beans and or point him at the microwave to do his own shit.
trevortrevorslatterfry · 08/10/2015 16:14
HELLO! thanks for the new thread
Pengwingggg???? He should stick to otters
SevenOhTwo · 08/10/2015 16:23
at thread title. Uttered a proper chuckle!
Happy Birthday to minibadger pseudo. I'm three months pg at the mo, so when dc3 is two and I'm still on these threads I'll know I can count myself as a regular!
ppeat just what I thought as I rolled my eyes at the radio. It can hardly have escaped Pat's notice that Jazzer's not really a lentil loaf and rataTWEeeee kind of person?! As a joke it falls pretty flat.
Stickerrocks · 08/10/2015 16:46
Did we ever get a complete list of who was living where & whether they're back where they started yet?
ppeatfruit · 08/10/2015 17:18
The answers to both your questions are NO and NO sticker Unless someone has seen a list anywhere?
Minimammoth · 08/10/2015 17:47
Well done that Badger, signing in for the Rob throttling. It could be a new event at the village gala. I am still catching up. Won't the midwife politely say ' please wait in the waiting room while I see your wife Mr T. '
I am beginning to Gordon every time I here the word 'darling'.
< stomps off to find throttling equipment>
Oh and 'Go the Grundies'
