Do you know that I was 3 months pregnant when the first thread started - DD was 2 yesterday Cake

That must also mean that Poppy Grundy's 2nd birthday has passed by unremarked upon...

  • Since the flood Wips. Jim's still at the Stables (?) - and I imagine the SWs will want to have some fun by not re-uniting them once Jim's house is ready.

Tbh I suspect the SWs bit off way more than they could chew with the dispersal of half the village. They have to return all those people to their rightful home, or elsewhere, months after I, at least, have lost interest. How on earth we're supposed to believe Caroline and Oliver could leave while there are still refugees at GG and Tripadvisor complaints ...

Can't believe how quickly the last thread filled up - was it a record DDD?

I thought Gordon was rhyming slang for Gordon Brown = frown!

Love the thread title. Thank you again.

Yes, that was nice, but what happened to the Archers actors who were supposed to be poetry reciting earlier?

Ooh new thread. I'm pretty new, can I join in wishing mini badger happy birthday.

I'd forgotten all about Jazzer living on health food.

I wonder whether they are regretting the story lines they started like the move, the sinkhole, Scruff, Fairbrothers, Carol's reappearance, Matt running off & stranding Lilian without any money.

Report
BYOSnowman · 08/10/2015 19:14

Well Lillian will probably emerge with money that she'd stashed away after all.

Knob is such a knob. And wth is pat on?

Complete, perfect little family.

So not happening ...

Did Helen know what they're doing in a fortnight? Afraid I might have missed a bit in the middle.

www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p034p4zc Hoping this link works to the Archers poetry. I found it via the Archers BBC web page.

They're going to the town hall (I think - I missed that bit) to register his parenting rights or whatever they are over Henry.

Utterly chilling.

Lillian - it felt fast because I think the posting rate was about twice other recent threads, but we've had much higher levels in the past (sorry, don't have stats to hand).

And we're a long way of surpassing the record achieved at the time of T & K's wedding / scream last year...

Thanks for the new thread, Pseudo!

I take it we all noticed Rob telling Helen to tidy her hair before seeing the doctor and then that nasty jibe about not being sure how a normal pregnancy would proceed. Hmm

Report
EBearhug · 08/10/2015 19:33

Yes, it's the parental responsibility bit they're doing at the town hall.

I did notice the bit about a normal pregnancy, because I thought, she had a normal pregnancy (apart from the pre-eclampsia at the end), it was just the conception which was wanted rather than rape different, and not even unusual these days.

I am not exactly sure what I would do if DH said to me 'you had better straighten your hair' after he stalked me to the Drs but, I am sure it wouldn't be 'oh yes darling' or whatever wiffle the silly moo came out with

So, what can happen in the coming two weeks to prevent Rob gaining dominion over Henry?

Helen seems to me like the sort of person who might break a limb to avoid an unavoidable difficulty.

When does K start work at GG?

Ooh Pseudo I didn't seem to know that about Poppy - that means all of our DDs will start school at the same time Grin Happy Birthday Little Badger.

DS1 = Abby Tucker (Hayley and I found out around the same time Grin)
DS2 = Henry (or there a bouts)
DTD = Poppy

Also I am yet to catch up on the other thread but presume y'all picked up on Pip saying "Jill" instead of Gran when talking about her graduation...
