R4 · 28/09/2015 20:18

That was the best bit of Archers comedy writing I have ever heard! I proper laughed out loud.Grin

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 28/09/2015 20:20

So what's a decent interval before Jill moves back in? She'll be there before they're back from the hospital, I'll bet.

CuttedUpPear · 28/09/2015 20:24

Bore I thought of you as HP tragically carked it on the final, doomed road to Brokefield.

Well done.

However it's a sign of the times that normally after such tragic scenes the continuity announcer will offer some unmanned phoneline to call if the listener has been 'affected' by the storyline.

No such number was offered Sad Grin

BoreOfWhabylon · 28/09/2015 20:25

No, they'll faff around for a while with Jill not wanting to say she's not happy at LL and Deeevid not wanting to dislodge her 'cos he thinks she's happy.

It'll all be resolved over the Best Christmas Ever.

BoreOfWhabylon · 28/09/2015 20:27

He was probably trying to stifle his laughter, Cutted

I know I was

Am gong to Listen Again now, for the lolz Grin

GypsyFl0ss · 28/09/2015 20:32

Oh arse I've been waiting for this for bloody months and have only gone and missed it! Was she en route?

BYOSnowman · 28/09/2015 20:33

There's something seriously wrong with the plotting arm. They keep leading us down dead ends that we all know are dead ends rather than forks in the road

Seriouslyffs · 28/09/2015 20:33

How much are they on Amazon- about £3 in Primark

Stickerrocks · 28/09/2015 20:34

Jill will be back tomorrow making copious amounts of tea and flapjack to help poor Ruth through her trauma. Lizzie's Orangery won't get a look in as it won't do builders' tea only lapsang souchong in a paper cup.

Travelledtheworld · 28/09/2015 20:35

It was me, just driving along thinking "perhaps the strain of the move will kill her" (wishful), and it did....

Whoreofbabylon isn't there a country myth that you tell your problems to the bees and they will take your problems away....? Jill can take the blame.

Travelledtheworld · 28/09/2015 20:36

Sorry "Bore" etc didn't read your MN name carefully enough.

BoreOfWhabylon · 28/09/2015 20:38

Yes, Travelled, I alluded upthread to the fact that Jill had visited the bees just before the dreadful event!

BoreOfWhabylon · 28/09/2015 20:44

In Ruth's distress, she failed to notice the bee crawling away from Heatherpet's comatose body.

It flew out of the window and buzzed determinedly south west, steering by the sun, in the direction of Ambridge

BitOutOfPractice · 28/09/2015 20:44

bore are you sure you're not S'OC? Wink

Seriouslyffs · 28/09/2015 20:44

Blush^^ that was meant to be a text to DD
You could hear the whoops of joy from Lower Loxley!

BitOutOfPractice · 28/09/2015 20:44

SO'C I mean Blush

Primadonnagirl · 28/09/2015 20:50

Er .. Bore... What are your lottery numbers this week?

AskingForAPal · 28/09/2015 20:59

Oooooh noooooaaaah.

AIBU to think this will end in the Best Divorce Ever when Ruth starts blaming David for - well, everything?

BYOSnowman · 28/09/2015 21:00

So seriously - what's £3 in primark?

tibbawyrots · 28/09/2015 21:03

So HP has shuffled. All change on theBrookfield merry go round. Jill can have her newly decorated room back...

BYOSnowman · 28/09/2015 21:04

Can I just check that we have already had a gamekeeper shot by poachers?

tibbawyrots · 28/09/2015 21:04

Yes, I wondered that seriously what is £3 in primark? Is there to be a MN rush for it? Grin

TheOnlyOliviaMumsnet · 28/09/2015 21:04

YY i was wondering about the primark reference.

BoreOfWhabylon · 28/09/2015 21:05

Well, Deeevid did express his concern when Rooth first revealed her grand plan, that Heatherpet might not be up to the journey.

Wonder when if he'll say "I told you so"?
