I think of Jim as rather more controlled, self contained and indoorsy/academic. Siegrfried was a natural in his environment - Jim is only in a sleepy backwater as a concession to old age....

Will Ursula (and therefore Knob) become more permanent? She might be a good substitute for Julia pargetter/mrs Antrobus. She sounded older that P&T. They could be going to introduce some younger-older people as all the over 80s are likely to pop off in fairly quick succession, both in RL and in "accurate" drama.

Emmurr currently has to shop at Matalan and Asda for her clothes, when she can afford them. She hates this and snips the labels off, and is vague about where she has bought them if anyone asks. She wears jeggings and t-shirt tops mainly, and the odd summery dress for going out. Her main vanity is showing her cleavage and doing her eyeliner.
Emmurr is envious of Nick who shops at River Island and wears 'nice' jeans, Joe Brown type tops and has one or two bits of nice solid silver jewellery. Nick also is able to go to the hairdressers regularly, and has highlighted shoulder length hair that she wears down. Emmurr wears her natural brown hair up in a pony tail a lot to disguise the lack of regular cuts.
