Gawd, just me that will still be fat then damn you all!!

I keep trying to get back on wii, then I forget or spend ages on and off sorting DS out grrrrr.

9 miles carrie right, that's what I need to do.......need to find where's nice to walk - ha!!

nicolamumof3 · 26/04/2010 22:10

carrie do you walk that far whilst dd in nursery? im going to start long walks if i can't do run's...should i look for trainers? which ones?

maxybrown · 26/04/2010 22:13

I need new trainers, but my nikes are very comfortable ad not worn down so will stick with those for now.

I would walk up the canal, but got too scared after the last time I went on my own

Divatheshopaholic · 26/04/2010 22:54

Maxy, lets meet in Macclesfield, we could both walk
Good trainers are must for running and walking or exersize.

Diva, how much is BOB?

maxybrown · 26/04/2010 23:05

hey Diva, start small why don't you? I wonder how long it would take?!!

basl · 26/04/2010 23:07

Nic yes i would suggest proper trainers. I think it makes all the difference to your joints if you wear non running ones iykwm. I have still only lost the 7lb i lost but been terrible with food. The running i love but i have to do it so early in the morning if i stuck to a diet and did that i would be all the way.

maxybrown · 26/04/2010 23:11

I have been very bad with food last week or so, really really bad!! Yikes.

My joints are so bad already, like an old man I am - when I get out of bed in the morning, I can hardly walk

basl · 26/04/2010 23:15

oh Maxy thats the same as me. I have always wondered why that is. I walk like a crab in the morning going sideways down the stairs because my ankles don't bend. Fluid retention i think for me.

maxybrown · 27/04/2010 07:24

Morning! Mine is no tendons left Basl, they have dropped so badly, but it is nice to know we both walk like shellfish in the morning

Nic and sunny here today, off to work in a little while and the PO whilst in town!

carrielou2007 · 27/04/2010 08:09

Morning

I too have the walk of the crab getting down the stairs each morning as I get terrible fluid retention but only in one foot!!! It is better already added to the weight already lost since having ds. I wear proper running trainers when I get running again, too heavy at the mo. I used to wear walking trainers but would literally wear them out after a few months so I wear walking boots insted now.

It's just over a mile to playgroup if we cut throught therailway crossingor a mile and a half if I go the road way. I tend to add to it rather than just back and forth like today walk on to Asda, mon I walk to town (3.9 miles) and back.

nicolamumof3 · 27/04/2010 09:46

thats good i live cose to everything here but am always walking everywhere. Could go on long walk this afternoon...but am going to shops instead lol!

gorgeous day here really warm first thing which is nice. Just been out in garden putting quest covers on in the sunshine. Off to Tates swimming lesson in a minute too. We might get a swim outside today if im brave!

GeekOfTheWeek · 27/04/2010 09:48

Good morning,

Diva & Maxy when we eating meeting up? I'm free most days next week. Does lemon drizzle have many calories? Do they count if you eat at someone elses house

basl, I love fake lashes. They make me feel really glam.

I'm on a diet now, going to get on the cross trainer in a min

carrielou2007 · 27/04/2010 09:55

Ooh I love the cross trainer (and the treadmill)

We were supposed to be looking a school for dd today, I thought it was 10 o'clock, got a call asking where I was as it was 9.30 I can't believe it, I wouldn't have booked that early and then was told the head was not in anyway!!! Worst thing though is my sister's a teacher there so bit embarassing for her

YM bag due out for delivery today, DHL so don't tend to get here until after 3pm so maybe no long walk for me today in te lovely sunshine. Might just tape a note on the door to say pop it over the back gate (can't get in) but think it still needs to be signed for.

nicolamumof3 · 27/04/2010 09:55

v. at your meet up

GeekOfTheWeek · 27/04/2010 10:19

Has anyone got a mothercare discount code? I need a bugaboo parasol for my bee

FlyMeToDunoon · 27/04/2010 10:51

Nicola gave me a 10pc off one. I think it's on the old thread though. Have you googled?
I can recommend a tummy upset for weight loss although it's very unpleasant obviously. I am 9 stone now and my tummy is much flatter. However I have got my appetite back and am off to make a snack.

GeekOfTheWeek · 27/04/2010 11:30

Maybe I should lick around the loo's at asda Are you feeling better Dunoon?

Will have a look at the last thread, thanks. Off to asda now for rabbit diet food.

basl · 27/04/2010 11:34

Morning, I have been for my jog this morning 6.30am. I have the Nurse Jane Dakar coming and having the hood recovered all black and a sunshade made. Oh and a lovley liner in sort of retro dots in aqua and lime green grey and white. Hoopla it's called and a cuddle fleece blanket. Hope it fits out my front door.
Carrie I love slimming world. I do the online one of that but not really been on it. When i am the weight comes off so easy. Have you been cooking for it. I love the curry, the spag bol and all the stir fry meals. Really good all that Walking.

Just trying to catch up and Lillypie glad you had a lovley holiday and thanks for you kind words.
Sal glad you liked the little bundle really cute stuff. Glad it went to a lovley home.

Maxy where do you work and i have just been on planet me!!! Did not know you worked.

I am off in June so maybe visit Manchester then if not before.

FlyMeToDunoon · 27/04/2010 11:34

Boak!

I was feeling better. No, I am and have just eaten crackers and cheese.
Yum!

5inthebed · 27/04/2010 11:34

Morning

VT, I've been called a lot worse than Fanny in my lifetime

Need to lose about a stone in three weeks! So really need to get back into the swing of things with this diet.

Vibro plates are great. There is one at the beauty shop across from the DC school, so I must start using it. Have had the od one, but really you need to use it at least three times a week to see the benefit. You can drop a dress size in 4 weeks they say even without dieting.

basl · 27/04/2010 11:46

Hiya 5in my friend hired one of those and i had a shot. I though it was so hard. Her Husband cycles everyday and he was laughing his head off till he had a go and really rated it. We laughed more than anything but they are great.

Divatheshopaholic · 27/04/2010 12:15

FlyMeToDunoon · 27/04/2010 13:50

Quest has arrived. A day earlier than they said so it's a good job I was in. Just a bit annoying that I have arranged for a courier pickup for tomorrow thinking I would have all the couriers in one day. Still can't complain too much as quest is here!
Feels nice and I will use it on the school run and see how we get on. Knowing my luck DD will not want to ride today.
