morning all! how is everyone today?

lots of rain here yuck. not sure what i will do with boys lots of crafty stuff i think. They are currently jumping off sofa onto cushions being batman.

couldn't think of witty thread title so still on this one!

Haven't been online for a few days as I went on a works do on Friday night, drank 1.5 bottles of red and consequently spent yesterday throwing up Never ever again. Still rough now.

Have just dropped my sis of at the airport as she is flying to Egypt this morning

hope ur all well. not been online much as having internet problems.

Ive had a good week though drank far too much lol. On Tuesday we went to a salsa class which was great fun then the girls came back for a glass of wine which turned into 3 bottles. Then on Thursday We had our first tots meeting since me and my mate took over, It went really well and was very productive (there was a big divide between our group and the baby group) which we have now hopefully resolved and they have took our committe on to combine both groups.
We then went out to the bop (its like a disco on camp) afterwards got really drunk. Had a major hangover on friday but my mate brought macdonalds breakie and i felt much better lol

I am now not drinking for a while but it was good fun

have i missed anything while ive been away save me reading back??

So what pram do I want? Looking at strollers this morning, still unsure if I should sell Nipper and buy BJCM or a two handled stroller. I hate this!

Hi 5in, which nipper is it you have? Does it have air tyres?

I was going to get a bjcm but I actually am not keen on them in rl. Think its the wheels i dislike! What strollers do you like?

Its a nipper 360 Geek, air tyres.

I've had two BJCMs . They are great! My favourite pram by far.

Get another then, 1 more won't hurt

Whats the nipper like? I have a bee but not sure about taking it on holiday. Don't want it 'hurt' by the luggage handlers

I love my bee, my fave pram so far. Ds only 5 months though so plenty more to try

Nipper is great, really light to push/steer.

I would love a Bee, but DS3 too big for a one, and can't afford the £400 price of the Bee +.

There is loads of time for you to try loads of prams, DS3 has had 25+ in his little life, and he is only 17 months

right 5in lets sort you out!!

you will still need nipper over summer if you plan to..
a) walk in woods/woodland/fields
b) go to boot fairs
c) go to beach
d) go to farms etc

if not then get rid

as you drive you need something quick/easy/simple fold to get in/out car so its down to a mac or a bjcm.

so differences are wheels..3 or 4 and single handlebar or two? pro's and cons for both i suppose
bjcm lies flatter than quest? has bigger hood for summer?

oh geek im taking my nipper to greece in travel bag at the end of the month so can let you know what its like for travelling. I have only ever taken strollers abroad so look forward to having proper air tyres for beach and long walks..also taking volo for airports and tate to use as know he will want a ride in the heat or late at night.

When do you go?

We are looking at next years hols, thinking maybe turkey. Been all over but never Turkey so fancy a change. Greece looking quite expensive for next year.

we went to turkey on honeymoon had never considered it before but we got amazing hotel it was really small complex boutique style little bungalows v.nice and adults only. was blissful we went to dalyan would throroughly recommend it. V.v.hot just how we like it was over 40degs in the sun most days we just lied in sun ooooooh those were the days haha!

we fly to kefalonia 4weeks today cannot wait

I have my black xt with it's own xt travel bag (they were half price last year in Boots) for holidays, the thought was now I have two denim one well- disguised miwheels- cams would take one for holidays and now I have the MB that I am not really blown away by and prob selling that would be fab for on the beach etc. Not that I have booked anything yet (still want to lose a bit more weight first but now lost a stone!!)

MIserable and raining and windy here but ds slept from 9.30pm last night until 5amish this morning so we are all skipping about full of energy here

Actually might whip the xt and quest out and in a min and give ds a twirl in it

Ds is 14 weeks though looks about 6 months!! I remember you saying the xt was a brill holiday buggy and I agree, being a tallie I just find the quest a bit low but love the green apples especially as it was the cheapy one from Very or would not have had another . There I am, the Mac hater and look at me now (you were so totally right about them!!!!)

aaah yes i was little mis smug! they really are worth every penny just so easy aren't they.

xt's are great on hols i agree. but im treating myself to nipper this year and can't wait to have it on holidays. only thing i worry about is it getting dirty as have to unscrew covers and its a bit of a job. but should be alright with liners.

Should I get the black XT of the boards do you think? Think I might want a 4 wheeler, but not many single handed ones is there.

Or do you want to sell my your green quest

i think you could get a brand new black xt for not much more and i'd sooner have new if it was me for the sake of £20.

Not sure about Quest really, t'is the wheels that put me off. You know how fussy I am about tiny wheels

xt better then but i used to be scared stiff putting mine in car because i'd worry it would mark somewhere. maybe look for an older xt...off to have a browse for you!

i do rather like the look of these and with an extra 10pc off am very tempted to order one! not as pink in rl but does come in other colours

Sal sounds like you have had a great time to and you can not beed some fast food for Hangover. I do sound like the expert.

Maxy have you had to run away for the day? are you just recovering?

5in what i would say about the bjcm is the bigger wheels don't rattle along. That is one of my biggest problems with strollers i hate the rattle of little wheels. Saying that i have never had a maclaren . I did not like ths shakey handles on the xt but love everything else. If they did that without the silver and non adjustable handles i would have that. I think you should keep the nipper for all the reasons nic said and get a stroller. The bjcm kind of does both but i still want a nipper and keep the bjcm so that prob makes no sence.

Off to work shortly so i look forward to reading everyone's news when i return. Oh and it would appear Olivia having the time of her life. Getting to go to the sweetie shop with no adults and coming back with big bag of junk. I just about had a fit but sister tells me the shop is in view but kids love they are allowed to go on their own. The have been at beach and park all day and Olivia soaked in a rock pool but loving it. She is going to be so fed up when she returns.
