Oh i am nervous about that. Maxy thinking about you and dh and little james hope you are all well and having a fab time. Still trying to put more pics on but taking for ever.
Nic big squeezy hug from me. nah nah nah nah nah told you so. [sorry guess who has been on the red wine tonigh] Geek i blame you with tempting me earlier. How bad is this 6.30pm Daniel ready for bed and olivia arrives home from having a fab time at grandads and i say lets nip over to the co-op for milk . In the co-op i buy milk, crisps, choc, Bottle of red wine. Leave the co-op and who do we bump into but Olivias nursery teacher. Teachers asks if she is having a late night because nursery finished for a fortnight and Olivia prompty told her no mum needed some wine then Olivia aske Mrs Willson who's hand she was holding? Is that your dad so i well and truly deserve my glass/bottle of wine. Dh on tripple time so not home till late.

what's everyone up to today?

basl not sure if i'll get pics today as in/out most of the day just off to do some ironing now tom is entertaining boys upstairs with ben 10 and just took luka to toilet bless him.

FlyMeToDunoon · 06/04/2010 09:57

Morning all!
Lovely and sunny here. Masses of washing to do so hopefully it will last. Parcels to post today too.
Nicola would love to meet up. I haven't tried to sew using foam and wonder how easy it would be. I know you can get thin stuff off ebay that is used for upholstery. I think small wings are good on a liner to cover up edges and prevent mess on the covers. Hmmmm will have to have a think.

nicolamumof3 · 06/04/2010 10:26

when the kids are back to school i can come to t/wells one afternoon as will only have luka?

FlyMeToDunoon · 06/04/2010 14:03

Yep. Sounds like a plan. Luka and DD3 can meet up too!
Quest paid for and Volo courier coming tomorrow so better get cleaning wheels and measuring the seats for patterns.

nicolamumof3 · 06/04/2010 14:36

aaah thats good...so back to xt then for you dunoon?

i've got my quest back out this afternoon. just off round to my friends for tea. its lovely day out. really busy in park earlier.

5inthebed · 06/04/2010 14:54

Afternoon ladies. Its overcast here today, and a bit windy. Hope it clears by the end of the week as we are goin on a farm trip with Sure Start.

Streety sold, so just need to arrange courier. Might give it a bit of a clean, even though DS3 only sat in it once. Fuss pot.

Been to the Metro Centre with the boys and DH. Went into the soft play for an hour and then on some of the amusements. I wanted to look in a few shops but DS3 was grumpy so came home and he is now in bed.

FlyMeToDunoon · 06/04/2010 16:22

DD2 is in bed asleep! She didn't go to sleep for ages last night and is slightly under the weather anyway I think. Will have to wake her soon though to make sure she sleeps tonight.
As far as I can see the liner I made first for the XT fits the quest ok. However the Volo has quite different length of seat and between seat and strap holes. Have made a pattern for that.
Back to just the XT which does seem heavy compared to the Quest. I might have to get another
I wish there was a light weight buggy with bigger wheels and higher handles.

5inthebed · 06/04/2010 19:42

the3musketeers · 07/04/2010 13:45

nicola, i liked my micralite but could'nt get used to the front wheels sticking out a bit more than the back ones. loved the hammock seat. what colour did you get?

basl · 07/04/2010 14:17

Afternoon ladies, OMG i have just been sick. Daniel escaped again. I had a phone call from friend this morning asking if we wanted to come over in the afternoon. This was fine but i have lots to do today. The phone went and olivia answered before me and put phone down. It was another friend who said tell mum we are popping up for an hour and she did not tell me. So kios as i was trying to get us all ready, go to post office some washing, my hair etc etc but i was please to see this other friend. Stayed for an hour or so and daniel cryed so much when they left. I called my other friend to tell her i could not come but could olivia come on her own as daniel tired and so much to do. Then i noticed the front door open. He had unlocked it and off. This time a fair bit away. I ran out screaming with no shoes on to meet a women bringing him back as i thought. She said she asked him were mummy was and he took her to our house. I have been so sick and feel terrible. How else can i keep this boy in. I thought if the door was locked that would be that. I feel so shaken and feel like my head is about to burst with stress today. My ds really is putting me to the test but i feel so guilty. What must that lady have thought. I kept saying i don't know how he does it and she kept looking at me yeah sure he can unlock a door but you would not believe what this little man can do.

FlyMeToDunoon · 07/04/2010 15:20

Oh Basl it certainly isn't your fault. Children get it into their heads to do something and they can move heaven and earth. DD2 was a runner. She got to the park once and luckily a friend's son recognised her and was bringing her along the road as I headed that way. I used to mortice the front door and we have a slide bolt way at the top. I had visions of her getting up one morning and opening front door......
Anyways I hope you have managed to calm down and relax even slightly.
Maclaren are away. I am a bit worried they will get mixed up en route.
Nicola glad you are liking the micralite. How annoying are non-removeable covers though. Measure it up for a liner quick!
