Oh i am nervous about that. Maxy thinking about you and dh and little james hope you are all well and having a fab time. Still trying to put more pics on but taking for ever.
Nic big squeezy hug from me. nah nah nah nah nah told you so. [sorry guess who has been on the red wine tonigh] Geek i blame you with tempting me earlier. How bad is this 6.30pm Daniel ready for bed and olivia arrives home from having a fab time at grandads and i say lets nip over to the co-op for milk . In the co-op i buy milk, crisps, choc, Bottle of red wine. Leave the co-op and who do we bump into but Olivias nursery teacher. Teachers asks if she is having a late night because nursery finished for a fortnight and Olivia prompty told her no mum needed some wine then Olivia aske Mrs Willson who's hand she was holding? Is that your dad so i well and truly deserve my glass/bottle of wine. Dh on tripple time so not home till late.

Carrie, would you mind doing me a favour please? Could you measure the size of the back rest of the Cam please. Need to see if DS3 would still have lots of head room if I bought a Miwheels.

carrielou2007 · 15/04/2010 10:30

Back of the seat bit is 57cm, just measured dd who is 101cm and tried to sit her in it (without the bumper bar) and her head is about 4cm too high she did still fit in it when she was about 2 and a half.

Two parcels here, raincover and skip hop bag, like the bag, bit boyish, I like the pink pink lining one!!

5inthebed · 15/04/2010 11:46

Hmm, just measuder him, and he is only 83 cm tall, but sitting down, he is 52cm. Probably wouldn't be worth it for all of 5cm head room. Off to JL next week it is to sit him in a new bee and a bug, so I can waste more money see if he fits either.

GeekOfTheWeek · 15/04/2010 12:36

Hi all,

Lovely and sunny here but cold

Got a badminton set for the garden yesterday and me and dh were playing for 2 hours after tea! Out for a meal tonight as its our 5 year anniversary.

I am waiting for ebay parcels too, they are taking longer than usual. Have bought a pop up travel cot for our hols in Aug and weekend away in May.

Carrie, I got the blue camo skip hop and I just don't like it. I need want another ym bag. At a wedding next weekend so would like one for then. Obviously it would be economical as I won't need to buy a matching bag for my outfit

carrielou2007 · 15/04/2010 15:50

Dd had the bee when she was 16/17 months and her head hit the canopy then but think this may have been addressed on bee+??

Geek same here with the skip hop, it is very practical, lots of brill pockets and I LOVE the way th clips stop it sliding all over the place but just too boyish. My mint green YM is divine but just too darn big. Garn, just want the perfect bag!! Happy anniversary

nicolamumof3 · 15/04/2010 15:56

nicolamumof3 · 15/04/2010 16:10

maxybrown · 15/04/2010 17:07

Hello all!

Sounds like you had a good day Nicola! Cons gone to you

Well, he passed hearing test with flying colours!! (as I suspected but you never know) No headphones though which surprised me.....he was most disappointed about that part!! Just the dental thing next week now

Yeah, get cons diva I want the multi coloured ones.

I don't use bag at all now as hardly ever take anything with me, though for hols I love the Boden bag

GeekOfTheWeek · 15/04/2010 18:59

Thats brilliant news maxy.

I like the sound of the the diva nappy bag!

Dh and I just getting ready to go out now. Looking forward to tiramusu

carrielou2007 · 15/04/2010 19:18

BexieID · 15/04/2010 19:45

Happy B/day to nicolas Tom!

FlyMeToDunoon · 15/04/2010 19:48

Hello. Sorry I didn't gt back on at the weekend. Packing took ahold of me.
Will have tp post and run now too as it took ages to read through all the posts and DD1 has to use the computer now.
Edinburgh is lovely in the sunshine today. has been a bit breezy and chilly but today was warm. We did Aberdour beach and castle today.
Back Sat evening.

5inthebed · 15/04/2010 20:41

Evening everyone.

Glad DS passed his hearing test Maxy

Nicola, really sorry , forgot to wish Tom a happy birthday. No worries about the trainers. I might get the Pepe le Puh ones

I've been looking at the new 2010 prams (for a change, looking at prams ) and I am loving the new colours of the Oyster, although they're probably still crap. Loads of lovely colours, Stokke new colours are gorgeous as well! Oh I would love a Stokke!

nicolamumof3 · 15/04/2010 21:01

evening all back from pizza and bowling i am stuffed...didn't even have bday cake so tom's had a lovely day thats good.

dunoon i forgot you were away..sounds like having a wonderful time (i did wonder where you were!!)

maxy great news about hearing test. meant to say luka refused point blank any of the tests they wanted to do! but one look in his ear by the consultant confirmed the glue ear anyway. silly really. (good old nhs!)

I really don't like stokke xplory..at all. v.odd chassis looks so cheap to me?

maxybrown · 15/04/2010 21:36

Glad you had a good evening and Tom of course!

Well it was very non intrusive - he was just sat in the middle of a room playing with bricks and sounds were played through a speaker to see if he responded, so he didn't really have to do anything - he was not happy about leaving without having had chance to wear any headphones!

I don't like stokke either - just do not get it at all. i always think it looks like a glorified bar stool being pushed around - or a high office chair

nicolamumof3 · 15/04/2010 21:42

oh bless him. My dad saw luka yesterday for the first time in several weeks and even he was surprised at how chatty he's got. It will suddenly just click for James i think Nursery will be the key. I think xplory like a boots shopping trolley lol!!

why on earth am i still looking at shoes for luka!! when i have lovely cons coming. yes im officially mad!!

Divatheshopaholic · 15/04/2010 21:51

maxy, glad hearing test went well. hope nest one will be as good.
nicola, sounds like tom had lovely bday.
i been feeling off pc for some reason recently hence less posts recent days. i often go through this feeling i cant explain it better. anyway im around

carrielou2007 · 15/04/2010 23:06

We'll soon knock you back into shape Diva

Nicola happy birthday to Tom (getting my Tom's muddled up sorry )

I don't like the stokke just looks odd. We were on holiday once and this lady had one and we got chatting and it was so easy to push and she loved it so I had to tell her I had a bugaboo and she sort of rolled her eyes at me as she was 'not in that camp' It is the base, bit like the mothercare spin just looks like an office chair (Maxy I've thinking for ages what does it remind me of!)

Oyster in the flesh looks very like the luna and for something v expensive looks cheap and plasticky I thought

5inthebed · 15/04/2010 23:14

I like unusual looking prams, maybe thats why I like it.

I just like the Oyster new colours, black frame as well, but bloody hell the price has shot up!

I've got a really sore throat, so does DS1. Hope its not tonsilitis.

nicolamumof3 · 16/04/2010 08:38

yes its the chassis i just can't get over on the stokke also agree oyster v.luna-ish.

just got up having my tea and waiting for tom to come back from his dads then have friends over this morning.

nice sunning day (more washing out!)

carrielou2007 · 16/04/2010 09:24

Lovely and sunny and windy here too - another great washing out day. My fingers were icy when I put the first lot out at 7.30 and already it is nearly dry.

I love black framed prams

carrielou2007 · 16/04/2010 09:27

Nicola my geography is not great, is Bromley anywhere near you? The bag (can't decide between blue or green, all Maxy's ifluence getting me into green!!) I really want is in a shop called Little Lollypops but the website just won't work or the phone - not a good sign.

maxybrown · 16/04/2010 09:32

Bit chilly here and grey but dry!!

I see I am getting the blame for obsessions again

Going over to my folks for our tea tonight so I might go over later first. Yummy, can't wait!!

carrielou2007 · 16/04/2010 09:33

I keep looking at green prams thinking niiiiiiice (shhh don't let HMG hear!!)
