Oh i am nervous about that. Maxy thinking about you and dh and little james hope you are all well and having a fab time. Still trying to put more pics on but taking for ever.
Nic big squeezy hug from me. nah nah nah nah nah told you so. [sorry guess who has been on the red wine tonigh] Geek i blame you with tempting me earlier. How bad is this 6.30pm Daniel ready for bed and olivia arrives home from having a fab time at grandads and i say lets nip over to the co-op for milk . In the co-op i buy milk, crisps, choc, Bottle of red wine. Leave the co-op and who do we bump into but Olivias nursery teacher. Teachers asks if she is having a late night because nursery finished for a fortnight and Olivia prompty told her no mum needed some wine then Olivia aske Mrs Willson who's hand she was holding? Is that your dad so i well and truly deserve my glass/bottle of wine. Dh on tripple time so not home till late.

ah I see lol. Told you I had no idea about make up. I am weird, I have dark eyebrows and eyelashes (well mid) but blonde hair. But not in an Alistair darling kind of way

5inthebed · 11/04/2010 11:58

I never wear make up either. Carrie, my friend J has the same problem with her eyelashes so always has to wear mascara otherwise she looks ill.

I want another pram. Not sure what, or what I can afford. What is the Miwheels like Carrie?

Disenchanted3 · 11/04/2010 12:32

Hello girls!

I've been super good with buggies but am failing now!

Am bored of my quest and boring 3 wheeler!!
Am going to catch up on the thread now... but in the mean while can anyone help me?

I want a rear facer for summer. I have 4 options :

Theres a pink I'coo near me on ebay, with carrycoat, footmuff & bag, I don't need the carrycot as my dughtter i 16 months now, but it looks nice and I guess I could get it for around £70.

Theres also a brown mutsy near me, but the pics aren't that good but think I could get it for under £30!

Then theres this Hauck buggy which I like but its a bit boyish? I don't really like the other colours.

finally theres this which I really like but is quite pricey.

TBH I'm not to bothered about the price on the very website as I can get it on BNPL and am getting quite a chunk of money at the end of the year so can pay it off before im even due to pay it.

What do you think?

5inthebed · 11/04/2010 12:42

I'd go with the pink I'coo. The Solo looks lovely, I quite fancy the green for myself, but like you said, it's a bit pricey.

Mutsy, nice pram, but I hates the raincover. Very bulky and had black material all over it.

Disenchanted3 · 11/04/2010 12:48

Lol, itsnot good saying the cheap one then asking if you shouls save for the lovely one yourself!!

I might order the solo and see what its like in RL.

maxybrown · 11/04/2010 12:51

Mutsy raincover is awful dis, but the brown one doesn't come with one. Mind you, if you can get it for £20 then worth it to try.........doesn't look in THAT great condition though? There is also the urban rider here

Disenchanted3 · 11/04/2010 12:58

I saw that Maxy but I don't like the 4 big wheels, I prefer 2 smaller at the front. I think your right on the mutsy, looks a bit tatty . Will cross that off the list I think.

Will have a go on the I'coo I think and maybe order the sola to have a play with then either keep the icco and send the sola back, or sell the icoo and keep the sola!

If that Hauck was pink and brown I'd go for that for sure.

maxybrown · 11/04/2010 13:00

Ahah I see! I had that one, but I like chunky wheels, though DS dangled his legs off the seat and onto the wheels when in RF, that was VERY annoying!

Disenchanted3 · 11/04/2010 13:02

The only thing I ever had with 4 big wheels was my bertini bidwell and it had the oddest steering, I couldn't reverse it! Felt a right numpty in shops!

horsemadgal · 11/04/2010 13:15

Just get another Bee Dis. You know you'd sell all of those right away!

Disenchanted3 · 11/04/2010 13:18

Can't HM not got the money.

t has t be something cheap now, or off the crap-olouge so I can pay it off Nov whe I get my money.

maxybrown · 11/04/2010 13:34

Christ you wouldn't cope with the Mutsy urban then lol!

Disenchanted3 · 11/04/2010 13:40

Haha, probably not!

I remember nearly having a breakdown in the chemist dragging it backwards down the ailse because the end of the aisle was blocked!

Disenchanted3 · 11/04/2010 15:13

I won this targo hauck i'coo targo

with carrycot
carseat
footmuff
changing bag
2 raincovers

for £80 local, so very happy I acyually thought it was just an infinity at first because they didn't say targo anywhere,

GeekOfTheWeek · 11/04/2010 15:14

Hi all,

Hangover of doom here Pretty good night out, my feet were sore from 5inch heels though.

Nic, when I was 10 and a half stone I was a size 10. Needless to say i'm not now!

Carrie, I know what you mean about mascara. I have black lashes but still feel naked without it!

Disenchanted3 · 11/04/2010 16:30

am really happy now I found this, its exactly the same as what I've won

carrielou2007 · 11/04/2010 16:50

Hey Dis, you couldn't keep away from us !! My friend has one of those in brown/yellow/black and she is really pleased with it.

Bought a really cute veryhungry cat wheeled trolley bag for dd/ds just right size for hand luggage for holidays in TKMaxx, no skip hop bags (only brown and pink 14 pounds bargain but not for a boy!!)

5inthebed the miwheels is fab, I really can't see the difference to the cam, I thought maybe would be heavier or feel clunky but it is exactly the same. I'm busy disgusing mine anyway as have lots of hoods etc wish I'd got one from day one now

maxybrown · 11/04/2010 16:55

lol carrie, I read your post at first as if you were going to be going on holiday to TK Maxx

nicolamumof3 · 11/04/2010 18:15

well we've had a lovely day!

took boys to hairdressers was bloody fab all hairdressers dressed up as princesses and fairies had gorgeous gorgeous haircuts luka's is fab a real basin now! they had faces painted as spiderman then a bag of chocs! oh and tate had a transfer tattoo!! they loved it! and all for charity too we just made a donation to Great Ormond St.

Disenchanted3 · 11/04/2010 18:53

Sounds lovely Nic, my boys desperatly need their hair cut! They look like old rockers now

Disenchanted3 · 11/04/2010 18:53

Im going to get a MIwheels in November Carrie!

GeekOfTheWeek · 11/04/2010 19:06

Carrie, what skip hop bag were you after? There were some in my local tkmaxx, I could post you one if you like. They had blue camo, green camo or I think there were a few black ones left.

5inthebed · 11/04/2010 19:28

So the miwheels, how big would you say a child would have to be to look too big in it. DS3 is already getting into 18-24 clothes, but he is only 16 months.

nicolamumof3 · 11/04/2010 19:34

dis meant to say i can't believe your dd is 16m already..where has that time gone!!

maxybrown · 11/04/2010 20:06
