Hi everyone - now I understood what you meant Dunoon! I hadn't looked at the amount of messages!!

Basl - I can count on one hand how many dresses I have owned/worn in my lifetime, so doubtful Though I do still have one!! Maybe I should make it my aim to get in it? I must look for a picture of myself in it as it was bought for my friends wedding.

Anyway, you were going jogging!! Much more impressive than me - I dod it in my front room - which, if you could have seen me was fair enogh - my tummy was boinging up and down and my knickers falling down - attractive and then i needed a wee

ill wait to see what others think?

Hope Tate picks up soon.

morning norma..i don't think rusmum really comes in here?

Hows everyone today all good here...luka woke up twice in the night but then we all had a lay in til gone 8am so that was good. Hope James gets on well at docs today maxy. what time are you going?

5inthebed · 29/03/2010 09:25

Norma, Im waiting to hear from her as well, I bought a pram off her and still waiting for it. She is quite slow getting back via email sometimes.

GeekOfTheWeek · 29/03/2010 10:56

Morning,

How are we all? I did a car boot yesterday. Never again! Made about £100 but was shattered!

There is someone selling the bee, red/black on mn board at 405 plus post. Its only 299 in store. Does anyone else think that its a bit mean? It would only be a few quid more to order a different colour full price one from jl with free delivery. Have posted that I think shes unfair.

Divatheshopaholic · 29/03/2010 11:12

Morning all,
Hi Norma, long time no see.
Geek, so Car boot sale is not worth it? then. I really want do one as we have so much stuff in the loft, that we cant throw away or sell on ebay. Hopefully i will do one soon.
We are having drizzly rainy day, so im doing ironing.

5inthebed · 29/03/2010 11:15

Geek, I thought it was unfair, thats why I posted. The sales boards on MN aren't meant to be used to make a profit, as others have found out in the past.

Streety should be getting delivered today . Its showing as out for delivery.

NormaSknockers · 29/03/2010 11:52

Ah okey doke, might have to get one off eBay in that case. Hope you get your pushchair 5in....

5inthebed · 29/03/2010 11:53

It was delivered about hlf an hour ago . Just need to go get it from MIL's now. Got it delivered there incase I was out.

basl · 29/03/2010 12:10

Afernoon everyone, Hi Norma how you getting on with your bjcm. I am loving mine again [gring] 5in can't wait to here how you get on with the nipper. Olivia sat in elite watching a film before nursery and she has so much room in it so i do think it would be silly of me to get rid for the sake of a few months when i will no longer need to do the nursery run till daniel is 3. I just wish my front door was wider.
Maxy been thinking about james all morning and hope they have given him a really good check up.
Pouring with rain here and signs of snow. It was snowing when i was jogging this morning at 6.30am.
I have lost 7lb now on my slimming world diet and not even sticking to it 100% going to really focus on it this week and see what happens.
Glad i am not the lady selling the bee

nicolamumof3 · 29/03/2010 12:17

wow basl thats fab! i really need to focus as i know i can do it once im motivated. We have wedding to go to before hols i'd like to be a stone lighter for that and feel confident for once in room full of beautiful people!!

5inthebed · 29/03/2010 12:38

Well done Basl!

I wish I could get motivated to excercise. Never been the exercise type though.

basl · 29/03/2010 12:38

Well nic i recommend the slimming world diet as it is so easy to follow but i have another 31/2 stone to be the same weight when i was married which is a healthy weight for my height.
Room full of beutiful people sure you will fit in just fine I still crave bread and all thats not good but i am really going to give it a shot. I have lost a stone in three weeks on it before easily but i have more to shift than you. I have def been inspired by 5in.

GeekOfTheWeek · 29/03/2010 12:39

Glad you agree with me. Wasn't sure if I was being unreasonable. Think its unfair to do that on here.

Snow forecast here for wed.

How's James maxy? Where are you going on wed?

Nic I want to be 2 stone lighter by end of April! V doubtful though!

GeekOfTheWeek · 29/03/2010 12:43

Wouldn't do the car boot again tbh nic. Hard work for little profit. People just won't pay a fair price at a car boot. My friend had loads of beautiful baby girls stuff, monsson, debenhams, next etc. People wouldn't pay 50p per item

maxybrown · 29/03/2010 13:30

Afternoon everyone, had to stick my two penneth worth on the bee thread too

Well went to Docs and he gave him a good check over, tested his skin and stuff for dehydtration as his eyes are a little sunken, but that was fine and he did have a full carton of drink ast night, phew! Looked in his ears and said they were very red and that we'd given it long enough now, plus because he has had a consistent low but high iygwim) temp then suggests some form of bacterial infection somewhere!! So he has got antibiotics which I have just been to get in the cold wind and rain (where has that come from again?!) and wrestled him to the floor to get the first lot in him, phew ee!!

Now, my throat is prickling and glands are sore....whoopee!

We are off to Norfolk, geek, never been so realy looking forward to it.

Car boots are funny places at times. We went yesterday morning but just rubbish. And people asking silly prices. So opp of your feind geek! We have had people say it's x amount as that's what they are selling for on ebay - and I feel like saying, off you go then love, go and sell on there and pay your fees and PP fees and pack it up and take it to PO blah blah blah.....

I used to do them in Plymouth some times but can't be bothered anymore, prefer to just mooch around them instead

I am looking forward to getting back into routine of my morning exercise after hols as was doing well. not dieting though, just being careful and not silly (as I am) and exercising more. I have put on about 2 and a half stone so would like to lose that over this year ideally

basl · 29/03/2010 13:58

Oh maxy glad he will be on the mend now and why don't you gargle some of that mouthwash stuff for sore throats and gums etc I think it is great. [right little pharmacist these days] My broth in law worked in saudi for a while and brought us the stranges gift ever. It was a hubbly bubbly pipe bong thing. Well it sat up the loft with all the apple tobacco stuff it came with till i did a car boot sale. I have never lol so much at the reaction on peoples faces when they saw it on my table. They were all whispering about it and then a few local undesireables clubbed together to buy it. I was waiting on the drug squad coming lol. People are like animals they were tearing my sisters car door open when we arrived. scary stuff

janx · 29/03/2010 14:01

Afternoon all
had my blood tests this morning - nearly killed me not having a coffee before I went. Sneaked to a cafe for brekkie afterwards - just have to wait now.
Car boot sales - not been to one for years. I remember doing one with a friend and the amount of junk we sold. I even sold a bottle of shampoo that wasn't full! We put it on the table for a laugh and it sold.
I went to a nct sale on Saturday - which was packed - mostly baby stuff, but got a few bargains. i might do one next time - if you get next to cake stall I reckon it would be worth it.
Talking of cake - was weighed at the docs and I am the same weight as dp - who is 6 foot (I am 5'5'') - not good. He cycles for 2 hours a day and is v slim. I need to loose a stone

basl · 29/03/2010 14:08

Janx at least all tests out of the way now. How is the sleeping in your house now? Any better?

StrictlyKatty · 29/03/2010 14:08

OMG I just looked at the Bee +, it's looks like a wheelchair! It's hideous! I always thought the normal Bee looked like a dolls pram but my Lord this is a lot worse

basl · 29/03/2010 14:12

Janx i am just about to return a pair of hippychick waterproof dungarees plum/pink age 4/5 if any good i am going in the next 30min to post office so might not catch you.

nicolamumof3 · 29/03/2010 15:37

afternoon all i had my friend here and her little boy was nice for luka to play whilst tate at nursery. Now off to do some ironing in peace whilst dh home for a couple of hours

5inthebed · 29/03/2010 16:02

Glad the docs gave you something for DS Maxy. BJ tray posted first class recorded for you

Streety received, tried, tested, and have put it on the sales board . Its too low for me, feel like I'm pushing a dols pram, and I'm only 5'5! Maybe Ive been spoilt with the height of the BJCM an BJCE.

Been raging at the kids since they got in this afternoon. DS1 must have had a wet fart or something during the night, and it is all over his bed, didn't think of telling me! And DS2 thought he would flood the bathroom while I was sorting him out. Have sent them both to their room and on here just to calm myself down.

basl · 29/03/2010 16:14

Oh 5in thats a nightmare of an afternoon least your not bubbling in tears like i would be. At least you have your nipper coming and you know you love that. Do you still need another pushchair as a second one ? Hope your afternoon improves.x

nicolamumof3 · 29/03/2010 16:18

oh no 5in aren't they lovely eh?!
