Hi everyone - now I understood what you meant Dunoon! I hadn't looked at the amount of messages!!

Basl - I can count on one hand how many dresses I have owned/worn in my lifetime, so doubtful Though I do still have one!! Maybe I should make it my aim to get in it? I must look for a picture of myself in it as it was bought for my friends wedding.

Anyway, you were going jogging!! Much more impressive than me - I dod it in my front room - which, if you could have seen me was fair enogh - my tummy was boinging up and down and my knickers falling down - attractive and then i needed a wee

ill wait to see what others think?

Hope Tate picks up soon.

it was lovely dh treated us for making up for being away he is so lovely

fluffy dog have no idea how xts compares to nipper. i think the nipper quite compact esp with wheels removed the beauty is its lightness though.

well done for ordering yours 5in did you go normal black or retro?

5inthebed · 28/03/2010 19:09

Just got normal black one.

Basl, this one will be a keeper (I hope!). Should have just kept the red one and got a replacement hoo, but then the BJCE was too tempting.

Need a bag or something now for it, something that will hold a drink. Will miss my parent console on the BJCE.

Maxy, I really hope the docs tomorrow will be helpful, you must be so worried.

fluffydog · 28/03/2010 19:11

Thanks for the help with the nipper. Will look into getting one now.

nicolamumof3 · 28/03/2010 19:24

5inthebed · 28/03/2010 19:55

I was looking at those Nic.

Anyone watching Dancing on Ice?

maxybrown · 28/03/2010 19:55

Do they not do the consoles for the 360? Mine was good on fixed wheel one but I think the handles are different

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 28/03/2010 19:58

5inthebed · 28/03/2010 20:06

Might invest in one then. Need somewhere to keep my drink!

nicolamumof3 · 28/03/2010 20:09

i quite like the flying but whats it got to do with ice skating.

5inthebed · 28/03/2010 20:15

Diet going ok. Put one pound on last week, but it was all water retention. Hoping for a good loss this week. Can now fit into size 16 clothes!2 sizes smaller than what I was the beginning of Feb!

StrictlyKatty · 28/03/2010 21:06

YAY! Mothercare gave me a BN Priorifix! Woohoo. I'm so relieved as the old one wasn't safe and DH was seriously not going to pay £270 for another one 18 months after the first one!

5inthebed · 28/03/2010 21:14

Great result SK!

StrictlyKatty · 28/03/2010 21:18

Ta! Such a relief. I did love the way Mothercare said it was unsafe and would fail in an accident and then made such as fuss about replacing it!

I mean they are designed to save babies lives and when it's not going to work you'd hope they would be a bit more concerned. The again they were probs thinking about a new £270...

janx · 28/03/2010 21:22

evening
So much to read - i can't keep up. Maxy sorry to hear James is poorly...hope the docs are more helpful - its a worry when he isn't drinking.
I finally managed to get to hosp to have my heart monitor thingy fitted - my brother looked after Luka and took him to park near hospital. It was strange wearing it - I had five sticky things on my chest with lots of wires hooked up to a monitor. The bloke fitting it said that people have been stopped by police wearing them on public transport as it looks like you are a suicide bomber! I had to wear it for 24 hours and write down what I was doing every 1.5 hours - I kept forgetting to do that bit - but did write down when short of breath. Dp thinks I am unfit - but I feel like it has come on too suddenly for that. Have fasting blood tests tomorrow and then hopefully someone can shed some light with what is going on with me.

nicolamumof3 · 28/03/2010 21:27

good luck janx

im glad you got seat changed SK i do hate mothercare c/s i wouldn't ever buy anything large from them.

StrictlyKatty · 28/03/2010 21:34

They are really crap! They are expensive but you do not get the customer services you get for John Lewis. I bought the seat from them as we were in Germany and JL don't deliver out there and Mothercare do. However, now I think if we go back out in May I'll order from JL to my parents house and collect the stuff when we come back for holidays.

I can't be spending hours arguing over why I need a car seat that would protect my 26 month old child in an accident.

maxybrown · 28/03/2010 21:42

Oh Jan good luck with anything else, all exactly what my Mum had done. Will be thinking of you

That's fab 5in about your weight, once you really start and see results it makes it so much easier doesn't it? I was doing well with my exercise but will start again when DS on the mend

OP posts:
Divatheshopaholic · 28/03/2010 21:48

Jan, good luck with all the test. Sounds like hard work writing all reports, im terrible about remembering things.

janx · 28/03/2010 22:10

Thanks - am trying not to worry about things.
Any top tips for getting a flatter tummy 5in?..I still look pregnant 2 years on

nicolamumof3 · 28/03/2010 22:13

oh me too janx..

grrr don't you just hate wedding gift lists? everyting always so expensive? we just had to choose something for couple that dh went on stag do last night. they are getting married overseas but having reception in uk in May.
