nicolamumof3 · 16/03/2010 18:12

sorry i haven't text back i was at docs then walked into mayhem here whilst mil sat on her backside i rushed around like a loon same old same old. then when its all done 'oh is there anything i can do to help?' wtf??! madness don't start me off on a rant.

Plus he parks on our drive (fil) so terry has to park either in car park or miles away. Fil said they aren't coming again as the drive is too much for him. So I wonder if they will ever see them again??!!!

maxybrown · 16/03/2010 18:18

OH MY GOD THEY ARE THE SAME PEOPLE!!! lol, We always have to go to them and they don't work could come here anytime at all, but no. They never do anything to help, then moan about the terrible drive (???) we have suggested they get the train..........it just drives me mad that we have to go there and they don't make any allowances for James so gets pretty boring for him. Mind you now he's getting older he's dragging them to do things, where my folks prob make too many allowances lol. You have my FULL sympathies......hey, I bet they can't come and see us because they Are busy seeing you

And don't be daft, you didn't need to text back just wanted to make sure you did get it and not think I didn't do my little job

nicolamumof3 · 16/03/2010 18:21

pmsl!! that has made me chuckle yes they are the same surely can't be two couples like that both living in morecambe

you know if this was my parents they would plan the whole week revolving around the boys they would plan days out want to take them to nursery etc etc.

maxybrown · 16/03/2010 18:38

yeah mine too. I am waiting for the day that they DARE to moan they haven't seen James much, just let them try it

We should try and organise one big meet up somewhere, a night away!!! Or am I being daft now? It could be ascentral a location for everyone as possible.....I would like that anyway

OP posts:
maxybrown · 16/03/2010 18:39

i often remind myself to make efford to see my friends, call them, email them, but sometimes it does not work, like my friend i met yesterday, we havent seen each other for almost 1year.
maxy, will email you now[again] dont know what happened last night

GeekOfTheWeek · 16/03/2010 19:06

Maxy - I like your idea

FlyMeToDunoon · 16/03/2010 19:10

Can I come to the meet up?
The wobbles about staying here have kicked in. I am thinking of how a city like Edinburgh would be great for the DDs as they grow up. Sigh.
Now bil and his wife who are expecting first baby in August are thinking of getting an Inglesina Zippy is it? She has relatives in Italy who could get one there. Anyone know anything about them? Zippy

Divatheshopaholic · 16/03/2010 19:40

Geek, i agree. I like Maxy`s idea. We must meet up sometime, before you go back work.
Oh yes, i did drool all over Mulberry bags in JL.

nicolamumof3 · 16/03/2010 19:41

I like the sound of that maxy! im in!! where would be central north of london i suppose?

dunoon why did you decide against scotland in the end? i agree would be lovely lifestyle for dd's and also you a wonderful city. What are property prices like.

my left heel was sore earlier...have taken off my beloved uggs...the sheepskin has worn away i can't believe it? do they only have such a short life span? all that money

basl · 16/03/2010 19:41

Evening now don't all go and run away i am not on to wine tonight. Maxy great to have a good laugh with you, can't imagine how funny you would be with a glass of wine. Nic sorry about the drama earlier suppose you just getting me back for making you cry one time. Diva would you believe i have loads of friends and speak to people all the time. I used to be a hairdresser so as you can imagine i have made a few friends over the years. This is a problem purely between my dh and i and my confidence. Going to work on that.
Those inlaws sound awfull, why bother eh if they are going to be like that.
Flyme are you def staying in posh kent then? It is lovley but i know why you would like Edinburgh. Are you going to learn to drive then?

maxybrown · 16/03/2010 19:42

Divatheshopaholic · 16/03/2010 19:50

nicolamumof3 · 16/03/2010 19:51

what is your nearest city for flights basl? oooh im getting excited now!!

Divatheshopaholic · 16/03/2010 19:51

She knows im dozey mare

FlyMeToDunoon · 16/03/2010 19:52

at Uggs.
I decided we couldn't move to Scotland mainly because DP is not really engaged with it. He came back quite negative. Sees problems not solutions and I know it would all be down to me from the decision to go, finding out about schools, finding property and organising the removal. It will be that down here too but without the added burden of responsibility if it all goes pear shaped.
It was going to be hard enough without having to convince DP.
Feel a bit let down tbh and this is my last chance. Got a bit teary thinking that now my mum won't get the chance to have a concentrated time with the DDs

If DD1 has to go to the High school I may yet rebel

nicolamumof3 · 16/03/2010 19:55

dunoon

nicolamumof3 · 16/03/2010 19:56

it is difficult when you come from different places (geographically i mean!) isn't it? luckily dh has no desire to return to morecambe

maxybrown · 16/03/2010 19:57

Oh dunoon

So to cheer everyone up lets meet!! yay, oh I am excited yay yay yay!

Cheeky Nic

I will go anywhere, don't mind at all.

OP posts:
FlyMeToDunoon · 16/03/2010 19:58

lol DP's work partner is from Morecombe and says that strangely he has no burning desire to go back and live there.
I'm sure it is lovely [disclaimer]

FlyMeToDunoon · 16/03/2010 19:59

Oooooh exciting. I am shy but hell you only live once!
