basl · 15/03/2010 22:27

helllooo theotherme i really have not been sure it was you. How stupid am i. You where in Edinburgh?
Love those pics oh so so cute. Just like my house trying things on and then lots of pics. I really like those shark ones super cute.
I should have realised about kent then. Is sevenoakes in kent i have stayed the night?
The footmuff was made out of the blanket. There just enough fabric plus she had to add a bit of matching fleece inside as it was just short. It was made to fit the elite so i think slightly bigger than the buggysnuggles. It just is so well made the shape of it is lovley. I like it on the bjcm now as i really love the jane nest i have on the elite. Can you believe i gave my sister a pushchair with the jane nest on, then i wanted it back so bought her one for the pushchair then took the one i gave her back. And i wonder why my dh is having a crisis.
I also like the fact i can have a blue hood for the bjcm and really please as it now has sunshine kids console thingy and a bagabottle thingy i got for £2.00.

maxybrown · 15/03/2010 22:32

They look gorgeous Nic!!

and yay dunoon is back!!

We decided to try and re home her because she is wary of james and we just don't give her enough attention for my liking she is a siames, lovely, really loving. he came up to get her today. Their cat died last Thursday and his wife found our cat this morning and she is the spitting image of theirs anyway she has gone to spain today for a couple of days so he came and got her for her for when she gets back. they will treat her like a princess, he was lovely. Still sad though, we seemed destined to follow to Kent

Nic am I still looking fro converse? Just wanted to check what with the star pumps

Well they where the days when dh and i used to pack a suitcase and just drive. My grandmas used to live in sheffield and dh brother in Fareham so we would drive and stop when we saw somewhere nice. Loved those times and i left my purse in a lovley cafe and they came running out to give me it. We were so impressed. That must have been about 10 years ago.
Maxy i think james is amazing with the poo's i spent 1yr taking olivia to the poo clinic. That was another drama in my house so i am very excited iykwm to here how others manage. He is a clever wee boy.

FlyMeToDunoon · 15/03/2010 22:35

Ah siamese do need a lot of attention. My mother's siamese chewed up all of the baby clothes she made for her first daughter. Could never really get used to the change.

nicolamumof3 · 15/03/2010 22:35

yay go james!

nicolamumof3 · 15/03/2010 22:37

lol at the chewing clothes, Annie is lovely, really really lovely and now I feel sad and guilty.

Ray who got her said he felt incredibly guilty I was crying, duh) as he felt he was stealing her! His wife will be so pleased when she sees her and Annie will be Queen Annie, I know it.

Bought a damn buggysnuggle blanket Basl, darn you! lol

basl · 15/03/2010 22:43

shooo shooo off to bed i say. Thanks nic you are lovely. Yes i do but i don't want to make a big thing of it. He will be home just shortly and i am really going to listen to what he has to say. My sisters husband went through the same thing and left for all of a forthnight and then came back. My dh assures me he does not want to leave he just wants more fun he said, some golf and he did say some nights out with me again. I think he feels like life is so dull just now and i have to say i feel partly responsible. I never want to go out and he keeps suggesting a night at the comedy club in Edinburgh and i pull a funny face. I just can't be bothered. I do think i need to really get this sorted out once and for all. I think i need to be a bit happier too and only i can do something about that.
Now bet you fell asleep now listening to that.

FlyMeToDunoon · 15/03/2010 22:45

Just going to say...........Night night

basl · 15/03/2010 22:47

Ahhh did you maxy, sorry but it is lovely. Are you going to keep it as a blanket?
Flyme i do like you name like that. I was just getting the hang of comfy.
Hope you are in bed now nic!!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 15/03/2010 22:48

I didn't mean you basl
I have decided that I need to make some changes to make myself happier too. If we are staying here then I need something difeerent in my life. I am a great home body and not madly sociable but would like to have some life outside of childcare.

basl · 15/03/2010 22:50

Here Here now the man in question is home so i will love you and leave you all. Night nightx

horsemadgal · 15/03/2010 23:03

Oh basl hope all works out fine for you.

fluffy, I have a couple of 12-18m fleece jackets if interested, see here

horsemadgal · 15/03/2010 23:12

Yay maxy, well done James.

basl · 16/03/2010 01:54

Well, i am in a big cream puff. Had a very long chat and mmm boils down to my husband does not fancy me anymore. Yeah he still wants time with mates and time with me but this was the most shocking tell all tonight.
He hates coming home from work even though he tells me he thinks of nothing other than that all day. He hates the kiosk and noice when he returns from a hard day but totally understands my feelings etc etc. Then it happened. He announced he was finding it hard to be attracted to me due to my weight and lack of self appreciation. I have always sstruggled with my weight but was very slim for my wedding and few years while married. He gently told me it makes him sad that he will live a life with someone that he loves but not in love with and not fancy.
Tonight i have a broken heart but not too surprised. I also do not love myself. I am a caring loving person but maybe not too pleasing to the eye. We also spoke about how oour children are suffering with our lack of lluster for life and thing really to have to cchange.
Yet again i am pouring my heart out to my friends i have never seen and i am so sorry. Always with the sad stories. Anyway just thought i would keep you posted and it really does help to chat. night night

nicolamumof3 · 16/03/2010 07:49

basl my lovely we are always here to listen its fine. Right what you need is a long hard look at your life...what do YOU want out of life for YOU? sometimes it helps to write it down..what do you enjoy what do you miss. What would you enjoy doing if you didn't have the children 24/7? Once you start this process and realise you are still a person in your own right and you deserve to be happy for you not to please your children or dh. Then you will start to raise your own self esteem.

I so feel for you i wish i could give you a great big hug. When dh asks you to go out then go honey, make yourself once you get out that door you will be fine i always find the organisation and getting out the hard bit once im there im fine. Look at what a great time you had the other week? I suspect your dh is more concerned with the way your personality has changed than anything else. If you were more relaxed or carefree then he would feel the same? Sorry to go on but i do hate to hear you so down when you come across as such a lovely person...Book that babysitter...go and get your hair done? buy some new shoes...do something for you my lovely
