Oh ma love try not to take it to heart you are quite clearly a lovley lovely person i really enjoy having converstations on here with you so be assured you have many friends here and your friend may just be one of those very busy people like my friend. xxx

nicolamumof3 · 11/03/2010 15:22

oh diva that is soooo not on! did she know dh had taken day off etc? i would be fuming and would have told her so. this is why also not many RL friends i'd sooner have a few v.good ones tho who won't let me down and understand life with small kids.

right went to Office in Tunbridge Wells...no yellow cons...booohooooo. Went to independent shoe shop who tells me near on impossible to get as limited edition. Im in devastation. Want them desp!!

nicolamumof3 · 11/03/2010 15:23

OP posts:

nicolamumof3 · 11/03/2010 15:43

yes boots only please prefer the boots for some reason cuter don't know why!! that would be great thanks.

it was just a few styles on sale thats all. they didn't even have yellows out had to ask.

maxybrown · 11/03/2010 15:56

ok hunnie will look They tempt me in in stockport by displaying every pair in the window I would have 1 in each colour if I could had red lo's for last summer and they looked really nice actually, prefer the lo's in summer when not in sandals.

Right, enough of converse, I need help Nicola.

Now then, do I.....get the waterproof set i really really want for DS, even though it is expensive, orrrrrrrr do i get a diff cheaper set that i do like and will do the job.........I'll leave that one with you, then I need more help

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 11/03/2010 16:03

how often do you use waterproofs? if say more than once a week get expensive set otherwise cheapy is fine.

i got those waterproof regatta dungies from little treckers they are fine all taped seams breathable etc about £12 each then they have next cagoules as i think they do cuter designs!

maxybrown · 11/03/2010 16:10

Well I would get a decent quality as would want it to last, at min not wearing at all as 1, not rained and 2 not got any lol! i want the Molo set, you may have guessed....bright rainbow stripes, but they are selling out fast on various sites. Expensive though

I had that zebra set before, v cute. Then I think just some plain navy ones and the yellow fishermans coat form JoJo or get a dridriksons set in bright red.......oh heck, I hate it. Why do i do this to myself? I have ut off ordering anything because this is what happens to me. I like the scandanavian stuff as it is the soft rainflex type material......though don't think the Molo stuff is

I am so glad you are here and understand

Then, if I get some JoJo stuff in nautical stripes will he look like he is in pyjamas? (I don't mean waterproofs now btw)

OP posts:
maxybrown · 11/03/2010 16:12

Just to add have been saving for the Molo set, but can't seem to press confirm order!! lol

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 11/03/2010 16:35

ok how much is molo?

the boys regatta waterproofs have been fine. I'd sooner spend my pennies on everyday clothes they can where whenever. I also like spending on coats/jackets but not really waterproofs as we won't use much?

maxybrown · 11/03/2010 16:43

I know, the stripes are pulling me in, help me!!!!

Molo dungarees are £24......but the jacket is £30 gulp. stupid money I know.

OK I will try and forget about them. I just need someone else to convince me, can't ask DH he loves the striped ones but never asks prices as he thinks anything over £5 is extortionate

Maxy quick note before i start getting ready for work, Olivia never had a waterproof when she was james's age but now we walk to nursery every day she does need one and a good one because we get soaked. So like nic suggested if going to be used then i would spend a bit. Now daniel on the other hand does not really need them but he has two pairs now. work that one out.

nicolamumof3 · 11/03/2010 16:58

i wouldn't spend that much im afraid...unless i lived in wales maybe and he walked everywhere? he goes in pushchair with raincover on doesn't he?

damn trying to check out with asos and it won't let me on paypal...not my day for shopping is it!!

maxy i have double layer l/s with the nautical stripe and little pocket in 2/3 from jojo if interested?

maxybrown · 11/03/2010 17:00

lol, I like him to go out and just play in the rain and not have to worry about it. When we go away will go on beach in all weathers etc. I had regatta all in one last year but didn't much rate it you see, bit flimsy, but ok for occasional use, didn't stand up too well on a very wet very windy beach I seem to remember

Thanks basl. I might just get Muddy Puddles stuff.......fiddlesticks

OP posts:
basl · 11/03/2010 17:15

Still here dh arrived home early from work and taken kids out to do some the recycle place. I have just bought oliva the hippychick dungarees in plum and they should have been pricey but i had a paypal voucher so got them for £12.00. I also have a mini mode rain coat in plum/flowers with little matching wellies. How sad is that? but she also has an all in one pink splash suit from muddy puddles which i got from ebay for 99p as the lister spelt it wrong. I did feel bad about it but now it has come it is immaculate and can now justify the other purchases. She will start going to the woods with nursery soon so nees something that will really take a downpour. Now Daniel has a mothercare splash suit orange and blue and very bright. Love it but i have the same dungarees as nic and just use a fleece for him with rain coat over. He likes to walk home from nursery now and it has rained alot. He also likes rolling in the mud when we go out so the splash suit is just to keep him clean. Phewwwww bet you regret asking that one.
I am def away to get ready now so good luck Maxy and Nic if maxy not interested in the nautical thingy i might.

maxybrown · 11/03/2010 17:23

Ooh I missed that lol! I like good waterproofs though.....sigh. I won't get them though, think others may be better.
He does go in pushchair yes, though not if we go for walk, just walks then, he would walk all of the time if he had his way. For what i would use waterproofs for he wouldn't go in pushchair. We do live NEAR wales lol. W

What is double layer Nic? Interested though please

OP posts:
maxybrown · 11/03/2010 17:25

Oh is it the hooded top reversible?

OP posts:
maxybrown · 11/03/2010 17:26

funny you mention wales actually, the very wet very windy beach was on the peninsula
