I still get asked if DS is a girl or a boy and he is almost 2 and a half it is usually when he has a hat on or is wearing red.......when he has a hat on he is the image of me/my mum as little girls.

Awww Maxy he is a cuty. I don't know what is worse i remember bumping into an ex boyfriend from years ago and him asking what the little man was called and olivia said in her mini mouse voice " I am a girl you know!!". She had am olive coloured coat and brown cords etc but had her hood up. I don't know who was more shocked.

horsemadgal · 26/02/2010 23:53

Thanks Nicola. I hope DS1 tires of the Taekwon Do soon, extortion!!
He's only been going for 4 weeks so he can't have learnt that much. Will ask next week if he needs to go. DH never thinks to ask these things.
He does football too at £16 per month, think that's enough really.
Yes I know, tight.....

maxybrown · 26/02/2010 23:56

basl

If I tie his fringe on top of his head (messing in house I mean not for going out ha ha) then he is the IMAGE of my Mum as a little girl. hee hee.

Maxy does he behave at the hairdressers/barber. I used to be a hairdresser before working for a bank (work that one out)

maxybrown · 27/02/2010 00:12

Yes, he loves having his hair cut, doesn't move a muscle puts his head where he asked to etc hehehe Hates me messing with it mind you

oh bless him, you have a good wee boy maxy reminds me of my nephew who is staying tonight. So quiet spoken and sooo polite. He always leaves our house a bit in shock at the volume of noice.

basl · 27/02/2010 00:20

maxybrown · 27/02/2010 00:22

Good night i am up early for a jog at 6.30am

lillypie · 27/02/2010 07:54

Morning all feeling sad here,my little bean didn't stick
I did test early so can only conclude that is was a chemical pregnancy but after FOUR positive test I couldn't help but get excited.

Anyway really trying to not to be too upset, I have a wonderful holiday coming up in less than two weeks.....It will be so wonderful to see my lovely family as I haven't been home for more than two years.

Working hard at counting my blessings this morning
Hope you all have a lovely day xx

carrielou2007 · 27/02/2010 08:30

im off to post office this morning and then might try and persuade dh to go shopping lol.

lillypie · 27/02/2010 08:44

lol my dd is dressed in combats and a ballet tutu and driving trucks and diggers through her fairy house. It's like having a girl and a boy at the same time

carrielou2007 · 27/02/2010 08:48

I filled up you being all sensible at such a sad time.

I'd really love to see a pic of the blanket yes please Nicola.

I have bought shedloads just a few boys clothes for ds but I mean it's just not the same as full on in your face pink with sparkly bits and embrodery like I went totaly overboard a bit mad for with dd. He looks scrummy still in his red sleepsuit with blue trims and a dog on it at the moment

nicolamumof3 · 27/02/2010 09:06

have you looked at toby tiger, molo and smafolk? nice bright designs!!

carrielou2007 · 27/02/2010 09:11

I have bought rather a lot a few bits from Next, Boots and Disney. Going shopping to clarks village later to get him some more

basl · 27/02/2010 09:19

Lillypie, I so sorry to read your news. I am sure your wonderfull positive attitude will help you at this time. Hope you are ok.

carrielou2007 · 27/02/2010 10:41

Just bought a George Pig liner

Waiting to hear about caravan Maxy. Thinking about buying owner-type at Haven. Would love to buy a caravan but not brave enough to take 2 dc and a carvan by myself. Haven you get it for so many weeks a year then they rent it out for you the rest of the year.

nicolamumof3 · 27/02/2010 10:58

you know i often wonder how long it would take anyone to notice im not here anymore an hour? a day? maybe if i wasn't there to make tea or put them to bed?

basl · 27/02/2010 11:11

Well nic it is noticed on here very quickly if your not around . Are you having one of those ground hog days like the movie where you wake up do the same thing over and over and over again?

nicolamumof3 · 27/02/2010 11:13

thats made me cry basl! thank you maybe you guys care about me more than my own family
