I'd be over the moon though if James said that as you know

there is no way in the world Dh would buy one of those though anyway, he would just buy him more books but again, my sister is so over dramatic about anything and everything that I try to remove myself as far as possible from it all as I fear i am turning into her else

lol maxy! Tate has just started to suffer car sickness too so he's better not looking at books we take all sorts in car when we go. books, colouring, stickers, comics kids can barely move!! haha

carrielou, glad you like streety they are nice light and good fold aren't they? i would sell but them i am a reformed pramo these days!!

right i best dig out these waterproof dungies and get going!

Divatheshopaholic · 24/02/2010 10:21

carrie, streety always looked good but never tried.
we travel loads so in car dvd is good to entertain them for long trips.
dont really need them knocking around town or short trips.

maxybrown · 24/02/2010 10:30

no, he still won't get one, took us 9 hours to get to Devon in our camper and he survived that so that's it!! We will hopefully travel a lot this year. I think it is just a bit too modern for us I want DS to be as bored as I was on car journeys ha ha ha ha.

Let's face it, we don't even have modern cars so a dvd would look out of place ha ha. we don't even have a cd player in car

I used to suffer from terrible car sickness as a child actually, horrible. Ok now though.

Comfy · 24/02/2010 12:51

Hello all. Yes where were you all yesterday?

BexieID · 24/02/2010 13:32

Diva, does your DVD play 2 different discs? Or don't your kids scrawbble over it? Have visions of Tom wanting 'Teddy Buddies' and Erin wanting something else on, lol.

Halfords do a single on that plays DiVx DVDs and other things for £79.99, so could get that and ger Erin her own when we need to, as don't fancy spending £130 on a dual disc one right now, iykwim. DP says we have a cigarette plug at the back of the car, as well as the front one, so would have no problem there.

maxy, I still get car sick, lol. First time I went in DPs car I threw up! Well he did take me down winding roads! I could never read anything in a car. Can just about manage a map now!

BexieID · 24/02/2010 13:33

Comfy, I prefer ClartyBesom, lol. Makes me

Divatheshopaholic · 24/02/2010 15:21

Bexie,
Yes, DC have different dvds. Ds always have Thomas dvd, Dd will have Peppa pig dvd. Sometimes they watch the same dvd, it depends.
Comfy is very comfy name

sal1309 · 24/02/2010 21:48

nicola love the look of that bed its similar to what my mum has at her house for when we go and stay lol

diva im due on the 13th march so 2.5 weeks left

lillypie · 25/02/2010 08:05

Morning all
nicola my boys shared a bed for years through choice. They had twin beds in the same room but always ended up in one or the other together. It started when ds2 was 10 months old and he would climb out of his cot and get in with his brother

maxybrown · 25/02/2010 08:29

OOh I like that too! Morning by the way

carrielou2007 · 25/02/2010 09:10

Morning all

Bee gone, quite late for parcelforce, just gone 7.30, have had deliveries before at 6.5am!!!

I like the look of that bed, have a mattres on the floor in what will be ds room for when his half brother or sister stay and a blow up airbed.

Need to sort something better really. They only stay here really as their dad is too mean to put his heating on at his house or the hot water for baths when he just uses mine

basl · 25/02/2010 11:47

Nic that bed looks great. I do like bunk beds i have very fond memories of when i shared a room with my older sister and we used to sit chatting all night and get into trouble. Olivia and Daniel have their own room but olivia as the cabin bed style like the one on pic but no bed underneath. We have used blow up bed and sofa bed etc etc when my sisters kids come but they all take so much time to set up and take up all the room under her bed so we now have thos yoga matts and lie a thick duvet over and the boys have their own sleeping bags and they love it. When they go it is just a case of rolling up and in cupboard and olivia has her room back.

janx · 25/02/2010 14:26

hi - havn't been on for ages - so no idea who is doing what!
Maxy, basl, nicola - all your parcels came today - luka wanted to wear his new wellies in bed when having a nap!
Has anyone done a nct sale? There is one near me next month and I have things to shift..tables cost £20 though which seems a lot?

nicolamumof3 · 25/02/2010 14:52

yes £20 does seem alot but depends what you have to sell janx. i think i'd sooner pay that and do the table myself as done one sale and you had to get all stuff there all labelled etc was a right pita. then go back to collect all unsold. I expect in your area you would do quite well jan?

Divatheshopaholic · 25/02/2010 16:47

janx, replied on your yellow clothes thread
nicola, i had email from marshall ward 30£off 100. could you buy the same bed from MW?

nicolamumof3 · 25/02/2010 17:01

oooh yes codes never even thought of them i have acc with l/woods and additions tho.

Divatheshopaholic · 25/02/2010 17:29

ZQ970,i would try on additions and littlewoods, they often work
