Tiggywunkle · 13/11/2011 12:30

Shock Shock Shock A family member whose house we can see from ours has just dropped off our Christmas presents Shock Shock Shock My jaw has literally hit the floor. More than that, I can't believe OH accepted them and didn't question whether he knew what month it is! Shock Shock Shock

pramsgalore · 13/11/2011 13:33

tiggy Shock i will have all the presents from my family next weekend when my mum visits, have not got a clue where i am going to put them, there will be 16 presents to put somewhere on top of the ones i already have Hmm if she lived closer i would be telling her to keep them until christmas eve Smile but an 8 hour round trip i can not.

suzie38 · 13/11/2011 14:22

Right my Donkey has been photographed, and is now in pieces as i'm going to wash all the fabrics a little bit later...So anyone interested, better let me know, before i list it on eBay this evening.

I can understand delivering them if family are miles away and can't see you / had too much to bring next trip. But they pass our house several times a day! Shock Ho hum! Maybe I need to start buying some presents? Hmm
Frigg - how is the Vista? Any news on the house?
Prams - have you decided yet?
Suzie - what next or are you happy with the Go?
Misdee - when are you expecting your B-Dual? Did you get a purple one?
Anyone else? Truth? Daisy? Honey? Who else have I missed coz my memory is like a sieve?
How's Uni aswellasyou? Is your flat sorted?

pramsgalore · 13/11/2011 14:30

not quite made my mind up, almost there though Smile
suzie never thought you would part with your donkey Shock

suzie38 · 13/11/2011 14:32

I'm very happy with the Go...Just need to get the purple waterproof Buggysnuggle...Bought a purple spotty Bagabottle to hang off the handle plus fitted the Joolz XL bag on and that works well if the seat's not reclining which it'll rarely do anyway...Just waiting on Kiddies24 to post the raincover, as they had to order in...Think from now on, if i buy any pushchair, it'll have to be a cheapy special from Preloved, Gumtree or Netmums i think...There'll be lots of 'vintage' ones i know i'll like to give a whirl before selling on.

Someone go and buy that Easywalker before I do! At £105 (or a best offer) it looks a bit of a bargain. I am actually tempted!!

TruthSweet · 13/11/2011 15:47

I'm doing well thanks Tiggy - I took the EasyLife out to the shops yesterday with just DD3 in it. Not a problem to push with only one side filled and I got a load of shopping so used the empty seat to carry stuff home Grin.

I need a Vista though for solo shopping trips or something better than the Roma or the Combi as the town centre or the local shops are a good walk away so need a decent shopping/walking pushchair. The usual less cash than want issue though Wink

DD2 is getting better in leaps and bounds - my mum picked up DD1 & DD2 on Thursday from school and DD2 walked the whole way home! I may not need a double for much longer at this rate (though will still keep it for swimming lessons as it's school run then long walk to pool then dash home for lunch then straight up the hill for playschool so a lot of walking).

pramsgalore · 13/11/2011 15:51

lol tiggy, i bet you've bought it by the end of the day Grin

misdee · 13/11/2011 17:00

B DUAL; WILL BE HERE TOMORROW.

aswellasyou · 13/11/2011 17:32

Tiggy, how weird about the presents. Hmm I'm seriosuly tempted by the Easywalker and probably would have bought it if it wasn't for the fact that I still haven't received my student loan or childcare grant. I'm owed £4200 from them!
Apart from that, university's going pretty well so far. I did sort my flat and it's across the road from the nursery, so really handy-I have a total 13 minute commute in the morning!Grin My daughter loves nursery too. She really couldn't care less about me when I drop her off, she just wants to get in there! And she's had no issues at all dropping a daytime breastfeed. And she started settling herself to sleep at night this week.

suzie, I'm quite sad about the Donkey. It'll sell easily though, I'm sure. And the Brio Go sounds really good.

Truth, that really is wonderful about your DD2. Have you decided on the fate of the Jazz?

misdee, just Grin

Prams, have you bought anything yet? It's been at least a week since you bought something! Wink

Frigg, I want to know about the house too!

pramsgalore · 13/11/2011 17:47

not yet Grin i am considering the babyzen at the moment though, i have been good though, more have left the house, than have come in Wink

misdee · 13/11/2011 17:48

lol prams. this week i have sold 3, and only have 1 coming in. thats got to a first.

aswellasyou · 13/11/2011 17:56

misdee, I've just seen that you'll probably get 50% off a Duet even if you don't come in the top 3. Are you going to get one assuming you do get the 50% off? You might as well!Wink

aswellasyou · 13/11/2011 17:57

Well done prams! I'm impressed. Where do you sell your pushchairs? You never seem to tell us when you're selling one so we can have first dibs! Grin

pramsgalore · 13/11/2011 18:10

sorry, i sell them on preloved, gumtree and pushchairtrader, to be honest i don't post, its a pain having to wait in for couriers and i do miss them when on school runs sometimes. i promise when i sell my top 3 i shall let you all know, none of you would want the ones i have for sale at the mo, they are old ones, streety, teutonia, freestyler, old mamas and papas one with wire basket, joovy caboose, i think thats it at the moment, there is one in the loft but can not remember what, all are well used and in all honesty i just need shot, i need the space, i need to get round to putting them on ebay.

pramsgalore · 13/11/2011 18:14

i am keeping the orbit, cam, xari, micralite, and kiwi, i have a feeling i have missed one or two out, but can not remember at the mo Grin oh and by the end of the month a new one Hmm when i have made up my mind, jive and citisport may go when i have a compact pushchair.

misdee · 13/11/2011 18:21

whats the joovy caboose like?

of course i'll get a 50% one aswell, i'd be mad not to seeing i was going to pay full price for one minus staff discount anyway.

misdee · 13/11/2011 18:23

oh prams, do u have an old p+t kiwi explorer? i loved mine, i used it when dh had an articial heart, the doubles seat was ideal for carrying his spare machine, batteries, wire etc.

Daisybell1 · 13/11/2011 18:28
pramsgalore · 13/11/2011 18:44

yes, the doubles seat to so much bigger then the others and the footrest is better, the caboose is a great pushchair for a toddler to jump on and off the back,
lol daisybell1 Grin

misdee · 13/11/2011 18:44

pushchairtrader have a fb page

pramsgalore · 13/11/2011 18:52

misdee and you can tighten up the frame if its loose, although i have tighten mine up to much and its stiff to fold now Blush need dp to loosen it off a bit, i think the front seat may be a tad bigger too, mine came with the largest footmuff i have ever seen, ds can fit into it its that big Grin they are so well made.
