misdee · 12/11/2011 17:28

now lusting over a stokke xplory evo.

pointless as it wouldnt get used. but soooo pretty [for a golf-cart-lookalike]

pramsgalore · 12/11/2011 17:45

stokkes no good at boucing up steps though, no suspension, so would be very bumpy, but yes they do look lovely Smile now the mima xari would be good

FriggsFlyingFalconFeathers · 12/11/2011 17:52

now i want a verso and a GT.

Honeydragon · 12/11/2011 18:07

I don't like the gt, I would consider it with 4 wheels, but I don't like it

misdee · 12/11/2011 18:44

what three wheelers are now the best out there? for years it was mountain buggy. is that still the case?

for dog walking, over fields, down by the lakes, up hills, off track.

MBs seem to be having problems left right and centre! And it seems the quality has gone rapidly downhill. I think the BJCE, Easywalker Sky and maybe the Jane Slalom by Monkey's review of it, are all worth a look. There's a cheap Easywalker Sky on eBay with a footmuff. I'm finding it quite painful that I can't buy it to try it out!

Tiggywunkle · 12/11/2011 20:29

Oh is the GT only 3 wheel. Never mind :(
I agree aswellasyou Between us lot we have had our fair share of MB/P&Ts issues with pushchairs breaking, being returned or sold on. I would look to the Baby Jogger Elite, Easywalker Sky and Qtro, Janes, and Bumbleride are coming to the UK soon.
I think Daisy fits in well
I asked my Kooltrade (BJ) rep re the Versa and GT and she said they hadn't even the basic info as yet and not to expect anything much before Harrogate in March. She will be here this week or next so will ask more then. But it's a being very patient game with all new pushchairs!

aswellasyou · 12/11/2011 21:41

I went into town today and saw someone with a Missoni Bee. I thought I really liked them, but I don't think the hood and blanket looked right on the normal chassis. It really needed to be an all black chassis.
I also went into JL and heard a woman asking the sales assitant if they sold the Mimas in that store. The SA said "I think we sold them a few years ago, but we don't anymore". Hmm I don't know what she thought she was talking about! And there were loads of people looking at the Donkeys on display. They seem to be getting quite popular.

aswellasyou · 12/11/2011 21:41

Daisy, did you buy the purple Pegasus? It was lovely! Grin

Tiggywunkle · 12/11/2011 22:13

LOL re the Mimas! Thats funny! Did you say different??
I was wondering if Daisy bought that Pegasus too. There was another I think this week too.

suzie38 · 12/11/2011 22:32

Sold my Bugaboo snow wheels within a few hours of listing...She wants to collect them so i'll lose out a bit on not having the postage money...Still got to clean up the Donkey, Cameleon and Nuna...Hoping to do some tomorrow after work as weather is forecast to be ok, so be good for photographs and drying them in the sun.

Ds seems to find the slalom really comfy for sleeping in! I am loving how space saving it is in our hallway, around shops, and how lovely it is to push.
It's not good for grocery shopping at all though if you have a big family. The basket beneath is not all that easy to access and doesn't carry much. You can get handlebar hooks which are helpful for lighter items. You cannot really balance a shopping basket on the hood due to the plastic view panel...
It's really great otherwise though.

suzie38 · 13/11/2011 01:22

Now the Brio Go is perfect for shopping as a supermarket basket slots perfectly between the handle and seat back...And it's easy to push with lots of shopping in the big basket.

Busy, busy, busy.... Brew Biscuit

Daisybell1 · 13/11/2011 08:35

No I didn't get the pegasus, although it was lovely. I still haven't used the vintage urban detour in anger yet so thought i'd better wait a bit...

I tried showing OH the donkey but he ran away...

mountainbuggy.com/en/duet-champions-challenge?a=entry&entry=Help/75

please help me stay in a runners up place! i have decided i wont win as there is over 400 votes between me and 3rd place, i am in 5th, would love to move to 4th.

aswellasyou · 13/11/2011 11:36

Tiggy, the SA pretty much ran away as soon as she finished speaking and I can be a bit shy! Blush I'm guessing the customers knew that JL do sell Mimas, but didn't realise that store doesn't stock them.

suzie, it amazes me how much Bugaboo snow wheels sell for and how quickly they go. I've seen quite a few sell for more including P&P than you'd pay new. Hmm I'd like to buy some myself once I get some money from the stupid Student Loans Company!!!!!! Angry

Daisy, I'm a bit sad you didn't get the Pegasus! You've got plenty of time for buying more though. Wink And Grin at your husband running away!

Tiggywunkle · 13/11/2011 11:51

I think there's scope somewhere for a 'Husbands solidarity group against their wives wanting to buy a Donkey'!!

aswellasyou · 13/11/2011 12:11

Grin They could have a spin off thread!
