OuchFriggingBludger · 14/07/2011 11:43

right ive fitted the micralite harness to the top seat,im putting skye in there, and Arlo in the back, were of out!see you later guys!!Grin

aswellasyou · 14/07/2011 11:46

Me too!Wink I like the white seat units with red, pink, yellowy-green or orange comfort packs. I've also noticed there are variations on chassis colour. There's silver with black or white plastic bits or all black. When I don't buy one, I want it to be the silver chassis with white plastic.

aswellasyou · 14/07/2011 12:01

This Xari for Unicef didn't sell. I want it!

saoirse86 · 14/07/2011 12:13

Do you have a spare 1530 euros?

aswellasyou · 14/07/2011 12:22

Well I do have ?1530, I'm just too boring sensible to spend it on a pushchair! I'll soon need it for a rent deposit, childcare fees, train fares, university fees, etc.

aswellasyou · 14/07/2011 12:23

Why did I just read your name as suzie's?Hmm You know I have that money, you're just jealous you don't!

suzie38 · 14/07/2011 12:30

Stokke are taking the info i found while looking for an Orbit to their legal team now
Dear Susan,

I have passed your email on to our legal team and they would like to thank you sincerely for bringing this to our attention.

Could you forward me the orginal email (separately, without being added in to our correspondece) as we may need it for evidence.

Many thanks again,

suzie38 · 14/07/2011 12:58

The grey Xari with the pink liner looks ok and it folds in one piece which is great...I'm warming up.

aswellasyou · 14/07/2011 13:06

I'm a bit confused about someone selling the Orbit doing something dodgey with Stokkes.Confused I'm guessing you have to keep quiet about what was going on though. I think the grey looks better with either pink or red.

suzie38 · 14/07/2011 14:13

No...Seller was supposedly selling both types along with other pushchairs which is why i contacted Stokke to confirm it was a proper business and i wasn't likely to get ripped off...But i most likely would have done.

Just been trawling the web for contact details for DHL (how hard can it be to actually contact a person at such a large company!!!) - as I need to request documentation from them to find out if any actual import duty or tax was paid on my vista (I suspect not as it' was minutes clearing customs!), and then when I have the actual documentation - I can then go back to amazon.com and request my import duty fees deposit back.... otherwise I guess dhl will just keep it - it's up to me to chase this up apparently (reading the smallprint at www.amazon.com). It would be nice to get £102 back if possible (supposing no import duty/tax was paid). [hbiscuit]

On a happier note - my Oi Oi giraffe hobo sack arrived - and looks fabulous in the Vista shopping basket! (takes up the smaller section of space at the rear of the basket - infront of the "floating axel bar") - it stands really nicely in this space and is easily accessible without needing to hang anything from the handlebar - and has just enough giraffe print showing to look suitably chic!
I now have everything I could need with me - nappies/wipes/first aid kit/enough snacks to survive in event of an unexpected famine/drinks/sun cream/spare clothes/sun hat/blanket/large muslin - who knows what this will be handy for - arm sling or impromptu burkah!/purse/mobile/old mobile for ds to phone "Lightning McQueen" on/torch - you never know - have used to shop for wool in event of unexpected power cut in craft shop before!!!/ calpol/ crab-line and tin of sardines/ play parachute......etc etc!!! [hgrin]

Now if only my Goodbyn lunch boxes would arrive - sadly funkymoose have sent with Royal snail Mail.......[hhmm]

MonkeysPunk · 14/07/2011 15:58

suzie38 - so glad you investigated before parting with cash! [hgrin]

OuchFriggingBludger I hope you are having LOADS of fun with the Kobi!

GuildfordNanny I hope your DS had a fantastic B-day and you get your +one really soon! It looks a fab buggy.....

(ps - still not a dicky bird from MB!!! Good job it's not my only pram - I would seriously not be impressed with it out of action for this length of time - and no courtesy buggy!).

suzie38 · 14/07/2011 15:58

I had an Oi Oi giraffe bag i bought off eBay but it felt too grown up so i sold it on...I've now got a Bumbleride Jam pack and it's tiny so my bag's the opposite, i've had to go minimilist.

MonkeysPunk · 14/07/2011 16:04

I am used to being mimimalist - but I have found it a huge advantage to have everything for every eventuality with me - and as it's in the already huge basket beneath the pram - it's of no consequence - the pram pushes so easily anyway - despite the extra weight - and there's nothing in my way on the handlebar - it actually looks pretty neat (the basket is sooo huge) and at least when I need to fold - I can just pull the sack out - not have to fish for 200 items all bouncing around loose in the basket! LOL [hblush]
I imagine that pretty soon the Oi Oi hobo sack will become a cross between the Tardis and Mr Ben's changing room! [hgrin]

OuchFriggingBludger · 14/07/2011 17:48

i LOVE the Kobi.Grin

love love love love love!!

but i need to find a replacement harness!!

HoneyNorwegianRidgebackdragon · 14/07/2011 19:30

Grin @ Frigg

I miss my Vigour Sad

How bad is this I'm currently still the owner of a Cam and a Bee, both new ones and I'm hankering after my clunky old Vigour. Still the Bee has the Vigours cubby hole now Smile

Guildfordnanny · 14/07/2011 19:49

I am here for 30 secs just checking that Frigg was still alive! Glad you are and you have your Kobi! It's my sons first birthday today and we have been out all day and still have pressies to open and cake to have. Frigg I will send you some suggestions later.

OuchFriggingBludger · 14/07/2011 20:11

happy birthday BabyGuild !!! Grin

Guildfordnanny · 14/07/2011 20:13

Aha...I have just remembered! The harness comes as part of the comfort pack. So you need to order one ie the seat liner from JL to get it.

OuchFriggingBludger · 14/07/2011 20:17

Damn.

OuchFriggingBludger · 14/07/2011 20:18

those are expensive

OuchFriggingBludger · 14/07/2011 20:24

can anyone find a price for the harness/comfort pack??
my googling skills have gone downhill....

Guildfordnanny · 14/07/2011 20:27

Sorry but that's how you get the harness! I guess they never used two seats? Just carrycot and one seat?? When you say you got a twin, have you got two carrycots? I assume you know you have to keep the carrycots inside the pods to give them strength? Did you fold the carrycot down ok? I am glad you like it! The chassis are beautiful and I love the smooth seat fabric. Is the hood ok with the broken clip?
