Guildfordnanny · 11/07/2011 23:57

I was about to put it's great in single mode. You will have to try it on the bottom and see if it works and if not why? You really got a bargain there :)

Bad news about me getting an Orbit...Orbit Baby replied to my email yesterday to say it can't be shipped to the UK because it hasn't passed the UK/EU regulations yet...But they are hoping to sell here in early 2012 which is a bit too late for us i think...Plus could i recommend any retailers so i'll give them JL's name plus the 3 localish shops to me...So only way i can get one is keeping an eye on US eBay in the hope of a seller willing to ship over here...So yesterday i missed out on two in the space of 9 minutes, and one was a brand new G2, which sold for about $150 cheaper than RRP plus shipping was reasonable...Other was a second hand G1 which would have cost me less than £200 including shipping!!!

aswellasyou · 12/07/2011 10:03

Oh no suzie! Fingers crossed there'll be more going at a good price that can be shipped too.
I've just been attempting to clear a space in my hallway for the Contours but I had nowhere to move the four pushchairs so I've just piled them up into a leaning tower of pushchairs. I'm concerned that if I breathe too much near them, they'll all fall down!Confused I'm so excited now! Grin It's been at the delivery depot since 02:39 but it doesn't give an estimated delivery time. I'm going to be checking it every ten two minutes.

HoneyNorwegianRidgebackdragon · 12/07/2011 12:45

Ok so how much for a 2nd generation Cam? Fleece liner and hood and raincover in good condition (although basket is a Gecko one)

HoneyNorwegianRidgebackdragon · 12/07/2011 12:46

Crap about the Orbit though Sad, that's what Bumbleride told me when I very first looked at importing one.

Tabitha8 · 12/07/2011 14:22

Interesting about the Orbit, as they are for sale in Spain, I thought?
My (second) Flyer is on its way. I might buy a pink footmuff............

OuchFriggingBludger · 12/07/2011 15:34

Guildfordnanny · 12/07/2011 16:32

Oohh if Orbits are for sale in Spain then they should be easier to get and no import tax!

Guildfordnanny · 12/07/2011 16:47

www.kolcraft.com claims to have instructions online if that helps. My phone won't open them for me to see.

OuchFriggingBludger · 12/07/2011 16:55

kolcraft instruction here but you have to download a PDF file.

let me know if you need any help!

suzie38 · 12/07/2011 18:04

Thanks for the tip off...I've contacted a couple of Spanish suppliers...Doubt anything will come of it as they're probably banned from selling in the UK but emailing costs nothing!!!

suzie38 · 12/07/2011 18:06

And a pants offer on the Superdreamer...I very rarely offer and if i do then it's a fraction off the price...So guessing in the future if i offer near to the asking price i'll probably get it because everyone else goes for half the price.

OuchFriggingBludger · 12/07/2011 18:09

oh,i always get stupid offers! drives me round the bend!

HoneyNorwegianRidgebackdragon · 12/07/2011 18:16

Do you not set a minimum amount so you don't have to be bothered?

I can't differentiate between Cams Blush I'm selling the 2nd gen Blush, I've got comp[aring it to the Frog out my system now Grin, I'm just not sure where to sell it or what to ask for.

OuchFriggingBludger · 12/07/2011 18:19

you could try on here? or Ebay,preloved,babycenter....

suzie38 · 12/07/2011 18:21

One of the Spanish messages has gone straight through to Orbit Baby so i don't think i'll get anywhere that way...I've saved Orbit Baby in my eBay list so at least i'll get messages when new ones appear.

HoneyNorwegianRidgebackdragon · 12/07/2011 18:32

I've popped it on here and will probably try ebay, but they seem quite common place now so am worried I'll not get enough for it Sad

HoneyNorwegianRidgebackdragon · 12/07/2011 18:36

Sold my Vigour too Sad Sad

aswellasyou · 12/07/2011 18:43

FriggGrin! Honey Envy

suzie38 · 12/07/2011 19:00

My last Vigours going on Thursday...I've got an expert at putting pushchairs together as both Bumblerides came in pieces.

OuchFriggingBludger · 12/07/2011 19:07

in that little plastic bag, there are some funny little wires, look a bit like an 'R' those need to go through a hole in the wheel, then you put the black caps on...does that make sense?
the front wheels just pop on,
the handle bar needs screwing into place....

aswellasyou · 12/07/2011 19:12

I've already done all the wheels, but there are three wire thingies and only two wheels for them. Is the other just a spare? I was about to screw on the handle bar but I don't know whether to use the shorter or longer screws. Either way, what are the other two screws for?Confused I've done the seats and bumper bars, so it looks like a pushchair. I'm just worried I've missed something vital with the other screws!

OuchFriggingBludger · 12/07/2011 19:26

they are spares Grin
and the handle bar uses the short screws....i think
