Now what if we go on holiday before it arrives and you don't have 2 children to play in it? Will you do that weird thing where the whole of the back is like one big shopping basket? like this

aswellasyou · 11/07/2011 11:39

Might do!Blush Or I could borrow one of the babies' friends.Smile

OuchFriggingBludger · 11/07/2011 12:34

aswellasyou · 11/07/2011 12:53

Tabitha8 · 11/07/2011 13:29

Suzie Amazon.com have the Flyer in stock in Lava, so I'm hopeful it'll be here within ten days...... Fingers crossed and going purple.
They have the Flite in stock in several colours.

Bumbleride's website say they are hoping to sell in Europe this year. Sounds good.

OuchFriggingBludger · 11/07/2011 14:24

Its just left, 24hr courier, should be with you by 5.30 tomorrow Grin

Guildfordnanny · 11/07/2011 14:57

OuchFriggingBludger · 11/07/2011 16:21

or THIS Grin

suzie38 · 11/07/2011 16:21

Mine took ages Tabitha8...My jam pack in Seagrass finally arrived today which i bought through Amazon.com...The ruby is on offer again, $50 off so i think i'll get that as even though i'd love a vita...A red one will be easier to sell on later, being a unisex color, plus my spare footmuff will go great, being black and white...Bad news on the Orbit G2 as a second international supplier say they can't ship the Orbit out of the states...I just let 2 go on eBay even though they would ship, one was a private sale of a G1 that had been used...That's great news if Bumbleride do sell here as it'll be easier to get accessories...Orbit Baby haven't replied to my email yet, confirming selling over here.

OuchFriggingBludger · 11/07/2011 16:22

or THIS!!! Grin

alright i'll stop it now...

MonkeysPunk · 11/07/2011 16:23

I almost forgot - www.funkymoose.co.uk has a 15% discount code JULNEWS11 until midnight tomorrow.

(If you need lunch boxes they do the fab "Goodbyn" (clingfilm free child friendly) ones - which are quite pricey - though brilliant - and include drinks bottles - so if you're buying for more than one child the discount code is handy)...

Otherwise they do loads of lovely baby stuff and toys. Smile

MonkeysPunk · 11/07/2011 16:27

oh my word that sandwich cat is expensive!!!.....Can you knit - bet you could knit a buggy friend.....or there's a big monster one to sew in this book:
www.amazon.co.uk/Lotta-Jansdotters-Simple-Sewing-Baby/dp/0811865487/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1310398011&sr=8-5

MonkeysPunk · 11/07/2011 16:28

No news back from MB yet. :(
I guess I cannot use it (defo cannot sell it) until fixed.

OuchFriggingBludger · 11/07/2011 17:21

anyone ever sent a buggy wrapped in bubblewrap and no box??what courier did you use? the mima guy is saying he cant post until FRIDAY as he doesnt have a box big enough and he'll have to and buy one. Sad
but the company i normally use wont collect unless its boxed.

also, Guild, what size, roughly do you think the mima will be,packaged up?

he wants his neighbour to deliver it to me for £75!! but i ?know i can get it here next day for £20!

suzie38 · 11/07/2011 17:31

I've received a P&T Smart and one of my Vigours just wrapped in bubble wrap and a plastic bag...My Evenflo car seat arrived like that a couple of weeks ago as well.

suzie38 · 11/07/2011 17:33

The car seat came via My Hermes.

Guildfordnanny · 11/07/2011 17:39

Hmmm....difficult one. I have and do just send parcels with bubble wrap and bin bags via Parcel2go - I usually choose DHL. To be honest I would be surprised if he fits it all in one box - the chassis is quite large and you get the chassis, one seat, changing box in one box (say 100x 50 x 60 cms) when you buy it new. The second seat comes in another box. For one box you are talking pretty large (which may cost you more to post?) It may actually be cheaper to get the two seats bubble wrapped and bin bagged and sent separately, and then box the chassis. I wouldn't send the chassis unboxed TBH.

OuchFriggingBludger · 11/07/2011 17:48

this is going to cost A LOT more than i had thought, isnt it.
do you reckon i should pay his neighbour to bring it then?

Guildfordnanny · 11/07/2011 17:56

No, I got a good quote from parcel monkey to send five huge heavy boxes for me for under £40. Be patient.... But I am not sure one huge box is the answer.

OuchFriggingBludger · 11/07/2011 19:08

ARGGGHHHH!!! he wont give me the sizes! he just keeps saying,oh my friend will bring it on thusday, dont worry, its only £70...arrrgggghhhhhh!!
parcle monkey would cost about £20 for two parcels i reckon...

ahhh i cant be dealing with this today
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OuchFriggingBludger · 11/07/2011 19:13

oh,i cant use parcel monkey,no printer.Sad

suzie38 · 11/07/2011 19:16

Awwww...That must be so frustrating...So near, yet so far at the moment...I feel your pain as i was like that with 2 missed deliveries, ie trying to deliver to my locked back gate rather than knock on my front door, for my Vista...I was in tears for Winstanleys to sort the mess out and to their credit it was, within the hour...The DHL man had to specifically come back and deliver it.

Hope your Kobi arrives soon Smile

OuchFriggingBludger · 11/07/2011 19:18

thanks suzie Smile
i feel a bit better now
