Although I'm not feeling optimistic if that many people have viewed (I have no idea how the stats are that high and EA said it's WAY above the average) and we've only got 1 viewing booked in (who the agent rang and persuaded to come and view despite their misgivings about the fact we only have space to park 2 cars) and 1 other supposed viewing yesterday who cancelled saying that they had double-booked plans and now isn't responding to the agent's calls.

Agent is coming round here tomorrow to talk about a 'marketing plan'. I'm pretty convinced we've priced too high, even though we took their advice and it's comparable to houses on the market in the area. I don't know how long we stick it out before dropping the price.

I'm just so desperate to be able to get this house that we love! I've looked at multiple houses this past week and hate them all, which is convincing me even more that I only want to move if I can move to this one particular house. Brilliant! 🤪

Nothing particularly unusual. It's 300 years old so it has a lot of character and original features but there isn't anything crazy about it, or about the price we're asking.

Your house was very lovely though so fingers crossed you'll find a buyer soon. IIRC it was at quite a high price point for Yorkshire so while I'm sure it's worth it, the pool of buyers might be smaller? That might influence how long it takes to shift... (Disclaimer: I'm going from memory so might be wrong on this.....)

I had a thread where I posted a link to a building company I was using - apparently they had TONS of hits from MN and quite a few enquiries. They were most bemused about the sudden influx of traffic from an unexpected source until I explained why!

I work in an Estate Agents and I always think of this every time someone posts a link. Think about the stats! It ruins the RM stats.
