Aka how much do we all know, or guess, about PigletJohn. Please add to the thread.

PigletJohn dries all his clothes in his tumble drier. If it's broken he can fix the machine in mere minutes, but he'll sometimes use this moment to allow his neighbours to return him a favour. PigletJohn's neighbours are keen to oblige as it makes them feel better about the many questions they ask of PigletJohn. PigletJohn's neighbours don't like to take advantage, but he's too damn useful.

If you tell PigletJohn how many litres of water your kitchen tap produces in a minute, he can tell you which boiler to buy. Many posters are embarrassed of their plumbing inadequacies and refuse to divulge this personal information.

In the event of a natural disaster PigletJohn could fashion a shelter from the contents of his shed.

PigletJohn knows all about gardening. Water/ nutrients/ drainage. It's basically plumbing and mechanics.

PigletJohn bakes a mean Victoria sponge. (probably)

PigletJohn probably owns MN Towers. And in all likelihood advised Kate on her (many) kitchens. And someone famous how to boil an egg. And threw the bucket of water at the wall when the client just did not listen to why their undies draped on every rad were causing little black dots on the (F&B) walls.....

Have just read this thread and being the boring "I'm planning a kitchen" idiot I am now NEED to know why piglet john's kitchen flooring goes wall to wall??? Do I need to do this???

So that spilled milk, and ants, can't get between the joints and under the floor.

So that you can later move or remove appliances or units without having a non-matching gap.

Ooo good to know. Id. Asked for a quote to the wall as it seemed like the right thing to do but the floor guy said it was a waste of money...

I think of pigletjohn when I look at my ASTRACAST BISTRO SINK.

Piglet John advised me on rad valves and I took his advice.

Imagine my surprise when searching through the Screwfix website to find comments from a Piglet John on the very same rad valves.

I felt all stalkerish.

I LOVE PIGLETJOHN

And wonder what he knows about tiling bathroom floors...

Is there a "PigletJohn swears by" email I can subscribe to ? I'm not that bothered about mascaras etc but I am in the market for rad valves...

When I'm doing DIY and get stuck my first thought is that I should ask PigletJohn. I really think he is a great guy. He is helpful, funny and not the least bit patronising. He is my favourite MN'er.

I see him as a real life Anglophone version of SuperMario.

I always thought PigletJohn was a woman. I assume everyone on MN is really.

If anyone is in any doubt of PigletJohn supreme awesomeness then just do a search of his name on Mumsnet. It's post after post after post after post of sound PigletJohn advice and grateful MN'ers.

It's odd isn't Galaxy. I assume that everyone is female on MN. Whenever someone refers to a female partner I assume a same sex relationship.

I think he lives on the south coast, maybe near Gosport? Can you confirm or deny PJ?
