PigletJohn dries all his clothes in his tumble drier. If it's broken he can fix the machine in mere minutes, but he'll sometimes use this moment to allow his neighbours to return him a favour. PigletJohn's neighbours are keen to oblige as it makes them feel better about the many questions they ask of PigletJohn. PigletJohn's neighbours don't like to take advantage, but he's too damn useful.

If you tell PigletJohn how many litres of water your kitchen tap produces in a minute, he can tell you which boiler to buy. Many posters are embarrassed of their plumbing inadequacies and refuse to divulge this personal information.

In the event of a natural disaster PigletJohn could fashion a shelter from the contents of his shed.

PigletJohn knows all about gardening. Water/ nutrients/ drainage. It's basically plumbing and mechanics.

PigletJohn bakes a mean Victoria sponge. (probably)

He knows lots and lots of stuff, not just DIY. He is a special person.

I always assumed PigletJohn was a woman.

I love pigletjohn. Pigletjohn knows EVERYTHING. I did think he was a woman though

I think that he is on holiday, there is a lady having problems with her flush mechanism and he usually appears like superman.

However, last weekend I was heard to shout, in the full throws of an arguement over thermastat programming "If you were more like Pigletjohn we wouldn't be in this mess". My DH was crestfallen.
