Just had a look and it's a choice of one - a studio flat. And it's already under offer. Renting's not so bad...

No good at links but, that's the perfect sum for a 4-5 bed Victorian semi in a good area, in really good condition. Less for one needing work.

You could have a 3-bed detached if you preferred.

At least 5 bedroom detached with lots of land and outbuildings, maybe stables. In other words a bloody mansion.

Mostly detached 4 or 5 bedroom houses with between .5 and 1 acre of land, some nice character properties like thatched cottages.
They're gorgeous, I need a lottery win or an elderly rich relative to leave me half a fortune [sigh]
