I am proud to present my first slightly dodgy Rightmove find on MN Grin it looks so normal from the outside, but you never know what goes on behind closed doors Hmm

Hmm

They like stripes don't they?

kilmuir · 27/08/2012 20:21

Hmm, tiled floor easy to keep clean I suppose, but too much like a sauna with all the wood, and lot of mirrors on walls in bedroom.

GetOrfMoiUsain · 27/08/2012 20:22

Why the hell has it got glazed tiles in the sitting room - it is in Cheshire, not Torremolinos.

What a grim house for 300 grand.

nocake · 27/08/2012 20:24

WTF Shock

Islagiatt · 27/08/2012 20:24

I'd never get any sleep - be too busy waving at myself in the infinity mirrors in the bedroom!

Alameda · 27/08/2012 20:25

It's really fucking horrible, does someone live there? There is a whole room (that looks like a waiting area in a corridor) with nothing but an ugly sofa and a tv (and a wooden ceiling).

thanks for helping me LOVE my mess

nocake · 27/08/2012 20:26

At least you can carpet over the floor tiles. The ceilings are another matter. You'd have to pull them down then plasterboard and skim.

emsyj · 27/08/2012 20:27

It rather looks as though they have tried to make the inside of their house look like a boat. Confused Bizarre.

Anyone fancy this almost museum-like recreation of a bygone age? It's a nice house and a rather nice road (have been looking for a bigger place nearby to potentially move) but I couldn't cope with trying to undo all of this and turn it back to a normal Victorian terrace.

TheMonster · 27/08/2012 20:27

I bet it was lived in by Americans.

saintlyjimjams · 27/08/2012 20:28

Even the garden is striped!

nocake · 27/08/2012 20:29

I've just spotted that the windows on the back of the house are tiny compared to next door. That's going to make the bedroom really dark... not that you'd want sunlight in there as the wallpaper would have given you a migraine.

saintlyjimjams · 27/08/2012 20:30

That one I sort of like in a quirky bonkers way emsy

fivegomadindorset · 27/08/2012 20:31

I would buy that Wirral one if I could keep the furniture. The one with all the wood plus the potrait of the dog, is very ]hmm]

4goingon14 · 27/08/2012 20:31

Alot of it is cosmetic...could be changed easily enough. Looks like the house is a good solid house though with a lovely garden.

MarthasHarbour · 27/08/2012 20:32

DH reckons if we bought that we wouldnt want to dig too deep in that garden for fear of unearthing Trevor Jordache...

I have another one! The poster on the wall of pic 9 just doesnt go with the Harold and Hilda's who live in this house!!

Chintz

Gor they love wood!

NCForNow · 27/08/2012 20:33

Italians. That's who. They LOVE glazed tiles in areas that are meant to be comfy. In Italy almost ALL the hotels I stayed in during a three month tour, had glazed tiles in bedrooms....that includes small family run house type places.

GetOrfMoiUsain · 27/08/2012 20:33

Christ that Altrincham one is worse. Jesus!

MarthasHarbour · 27/08/2012 20:33

That last house is definitely owned by Arabs or Persians, totally seen that style before.

ScooseLooseAbootThisHoose · 27/08/2012 20:35

Wtf!!!Confused

sherbetpips · 27/08/2012 20:35

Must be Spanish with the wood and the tiles, houses on place in the sun always look like that - mingy

MrsBucketxx · 27/08/2012 20:35

A hoy hoy

Its pretty random

HildaHotPants · 27/08/2012 20:36

Chintz house a la stately home! Good grief. PS are you taking my name in vain? Smile

RandomMess · 27/08/2012 20:36

The first one is very very like a boat, DH said Wembley as soon as he saw the lawn Grin
