bad news ladies. I have just had a phone call from additions stating that is onlt the drawer and although the bed is at the depot if I want it I will be charged full price. Waiting for someone else to ring me back

she said it was a mis price and that the reason the customer advisor idiots confirmed it was right is because they don't deal with the internet. what the ? I am now so stressed. Anybody else had a phone call.

I was just going to wait and see too! although I will be at work on Thursday so most of you will have found out whether it is just a drawer or not saving me a trip to the depot

so i just checked my order status with additions & it says "KYOTO 4FT6 ST DRAWS SELL WALNUT 4FT6" whereas on my original e-mail confirmaton it defo said 'bedstead with storage'....??? am watching this thread intently!!! delivery date is 14th august.

lol, you could ring up and speak to someone else. insist that as you have been charged and you were under the impression that you bought a bed you expect a bed.

I told the silly woman that today. I even said that I checked after placing the order that it was for the bed when I phoned up. I only rang today as my delivery date is when we are on holiday so wanted to change date. Woman verified all details but then sounded shocked when verifying bed for £25 but said it was right. Then 20 mins later I got a phone call.

No phonecall either. Have checked my e-mail invoice and also payment invoice and both say 'Kyoto bedstead with storage'. We'll just have to see what happens...isn't it exciting

If we discover such an error after you have submitted an order to us, we will contact you prior to accepting your order with the correct details. You may then either cancel your order or re-confirm it based on the correct information. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat your order as cancelled." that as they have already accepted the order and money has changed hands then they have to legally give it you at that price.

do you think so nappy. The point I argued is that I confirmed it twice with the idiots on customer service. Tbh I paid using my mums card and that is the main reason i had to follow up as we wanted it delivering to different addresses.

Can everyone check if they have been charged for the beds yet? I was under the impression that once money has been exchanged the contract has been made and they have to honour it?

As mentioned before, the price is an invitation to treat, the contract with the shop is made once they money changes hands. If we have been charged, surely they have to honour it?

Any lawyers out there who know if there are different rules for internet purchases?

was just looking, and it seems that the bedstead with storage is the one that has an enclosed bit don't you think?

If we get these bedsteads with a drawer (if) then we will therefore be getting the drawer sort of seperate, i mean it won't be on runners will it, just on the floor?
