I know it’s a little later than usual but here it is! #letsdothis

In previous years I have started these threads to help and support all those involved in the independent school admissions process.

I wasn't going to start one this year as I know I would not be able to check back on it as regularly as I would like, which then defeats the purpose of the thread.

However, after numerous positive PM's about the threads I think it would be a shame not to start one where at least the hand holding can continue. 🤝

There are many many people who have been through the process and 'live to tell the tale' . There are also other tutors I know who read this thread and it would be great if you all could help and support and share your ideas

@NameChangeDays i know for sure.UcS request the reports for all the kids invited to the second interview prior to the second interview

Iwonder oh then thats a short turnaround as they gave results on 11th Jan (Wed) and 2nd round assessments started on 16th Jan

@Iwonder08 @hopefulmum16 Ah thank you that’s great to know. So Highgate don’t ask them for 4+? Ok.

I specifically remember from open day that they said they dont and our nursery also said they haven’t been asked in the past but will confirm tomorrow

@hopefulmum16 thank you! That would be great to know from your nursery. Ours doesn’t really feed to any of these schools. So it’s a long shot!

Anyone know when the results are coming out for Highgate/ UCS 4+?

We just received an email from Highgate that the result will be out at the end of the day on 27th, days earlier than they announced on the school website (30th).

Habs hadnt said anything anywhere on when they will come back! I will followup today !

If Habs boys is the same as the girls they have said Monday 31st!

Keeping everything crossed for Highgate here. But it’s obviously a massive long shot, given that at 4+ it’s basically a lottery, and mostly about how they happen to come across in the time they’re in the assessment. Which for 3-4 year olds could mean basically anything!

Hopefully the kid’s hardwork (if they were aware that they were working hard lol) and our efforts as parents pay off !
