Sorry to hear that Hilly, I thought junior school applications were almost a formality. I'm not even sure where the next nearest junior school is to us, unless I'd have to transfer them into a primary school.

Third choice for us I think. Very narrowly missed out on first choice so think we stand good chance on continuing interest

From that table I am praying we got our 2nd choice!

DS got 1st choice. We had sibling and catchment criteria fulfilled but still nerve-racking. Phew!

1 1/4 hours until I can log in... I'm betting the website will crash though with all us eager parentals champing at the bit. Everyone I know has already found out about our school. Someone logged in to look at the stats for me and it said 'all preferences allocated' so I'm assuming that means everyone who applied got a place!

Come on Kent, wake up...

Herts won't let us log into confirm places but we got ours through the sibling rule. We wouldn't have got in otherwise even though we are in spitting distance so am happy that I had my first child when I did.

I'm getting a wee bit crazed!!

Strange question but I wonder if anyone knows how I find out how many children got a place at our 1st Choice School?

Reason for asking is that its a high birth year in our area. The school nursery is never full and is full for both am and pm sessions so thats 45 children (its got a PAN of 60) and thats without any children that aren't already at school nursery.

We got a place and thats fantastic but all the surrounding schools are oversubscribed as well apparently so Im just curious as to its going to work.

I'm just outside London and none of my friends (or me!) have heard yet!
