Surrey here, checking in. I've been following the first thread since the beginning but hadn't bothered posting as I am confident we will get first (only!) choice, but now that it is here I am paranoid I made a mistake on the form. Hope they don't make us wait until 5pm, I'm sure it has been easier than that in previous years.

LittleLionMansMummy · 16/04/2015 08:40

My offer via the online portal just had a 'click to accept place' button, so dead easy!

LadyFlumpalot · 16/04/2015 08:43

Wiltshire doesn't send emails - you must log in. It's very quiet on exactly how you accept the offer though. Do I ring the council or the school?

dannydyerismydad · 16/04/2015 08:45

We got our second choice, which is our catchment school and I'm relieved.

First choice is nearer, but we are not in catchment and it's horribly oversubscribed. It was a mad hope.

PourMeSomethingStronger · 16/04/2015 08:45

Cheshire East up and running now! Grin Grin Grin Grin First choice offered and acceptedGrin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Helish · 16/04/2015 08:45

We don't receive notification until sometime this afternoon, no specific time given. It's going to be a long morning.....

EssexMummy123 · 16/04/2015 08:47

Looks like North Essex starting sending emails out at midnight and according to the paper 87% of essex parents got their first choice with 7% getting their second - sadly 3% didn't get any of their 4 choices.

AnnieLewis · 16/04/2015 08:48

London and still nothing here - website still says after 5pm. Need to find lots of things to do today..... aaaaargggh am too impatient for this crap!!!!!!

snickers251 · 16/04/2015 08:51

First choice here (Essex)as did most of my friends here

I managed to log in 2 minutes before midnight

After all the worries about his place, i spent half the night worrying about how he will get on when he starts Grin

dangerrabbit · 16/04/2015 08:55

Congrats to all who have places!

In London here so still waiting...

MrsGrimes · 16/04/2015 08:59

To answer malefridgeblindness from the previous thread - I only put one school down because it's the only school in our village and only a 10 minute walk from our door. The school we have been allocated is the next nearest school. Unfortunately it's still over 2 and a half miles away. I would have struggled to find 3 schools to choose from nevermind 5 or 6 because they're all far from where we live.

FrozenAteMyDaughter · 16/04/2015 09:01

London boroughs really know how to drag out the agony don't they? I remember the hideous wait last year.

Congratulations to all who have a school they want. So sorry for those who don't. But good luck for the appeals etc.Flowers

And best wishes to those who are still waiting anxiously BrewWine

Gileswithachainsaw · 16/04/2015 09:02

Glad to see more good news. let's hope it continues

MTWTFSS · 16/04/2015 09:02

Hello, I've been lurking here for a while as nobody else in my family/friends seem that concerned.

I haven't been able to sleep for the last week but I'm so glad my DS got our first choice. Got the email for Birmingham at 8.15am Smile.

Hope everyone else gets what they want or has a successful appeal.

Gileswithachainsaw · 16/04/2015 09:07

Thanks great and I'm. thrilled for you

Hersetta427 · 16/04/2015 09:08

Taps fingers till 6pm. We only live a few miles from Essex borders and they found out at midnight. Not fair....stamps feet.

MTWTFSS where is Herts are you?

RugBugs · 16/04/2015 09:09

Shadows here we are sent a letter by post with a slip at the bottom confirming place which we have to return to the school within 10 school days.

Just logged in in case the allocation was on there 8 hours early (eternal optimist), and noticed that apparently I did apply for two schools! Could have sworn I only put one down.

Badgerwife · 16/04/2015 09:15

argh, I can't check my emails at work so I will have to wait till 6 pm tonight to know what we got. It's going to be an unbearable day.

ShadowsShadowsEverywhere · 16/04/2015 09:20

Thanks Rugs and Tiggy I've sent an email asking what their process is as I imagine it differs from school to school. It's DDs birthday today so I'm very glad she got in, it would've put a real dampener on the day if it hadn't be such good news!

DextersMistress · 16/04/2015 09:21

Is anyone in Halton? Website doesn't mention email or is there an option to log in, it says decision will be posted Sad
