ah got it, London here, got none of my six (admittedly slightly optimistic) choices and was allocated about the worst school in the borough. counting on waiting list though!

Sirzy · 16/04/2015 17:05

That's awful! All that waiting around lancs had technical problems last year but at least we did get to find out the right day

JemFinch · 16/04/2015 17:05

"The London Borough of Bromley has experienced IT technical problems and is unable to publish reception results online this evening. Offers will be made by letter sent by first class post on the 16 April 2015 . The Council apologises for any inconvenience."

Fabulous. Just fabulous.

Waving @ Dr Mouse

Hello Everyone! Heh heh Annie - that's quite unrealistic for us too though only 10 mins walk. Am sure our paths must cross. Gah, well it's gone 5pm and still no update. Can only sit here refreshing for another 25 mins before I need to do nursery run. Meant to be working but what an unproductive day.

And London's off...

longestlurkerever · 16/04/2015 17:07

Sorry everyone who just got bad news. And Grrrrr to Bromley. I'll be livid if that happens!

chouilla · 16/04/2015 17:08

Haringey here too. They released 1700 on the dot! Got 1st choice. Never expected.

DebbieFiderer · 16/04/2015 17:09

Surrey here and it is on the website :)

longestlurkerever · 16/04/2015 17:09

Really chouilla?? Where's mine?!

Wigeon · 16/04/2015 17:10

Had two applications today in Hertfordshire - DD2 for reception Infant school, and DD1 for the Junior school linked to the Infants. Got emails at 3.42 and 3.49m confirming first places for both of them Smile, although would have been petty shocked not to, as DD2 should have been fine on the sibling rule, and the Juniors is v close to us (177m). Have now logged on and accepted both. Phew!

WhyBeHappyWhenYouCouldBeNormal · 16/04/2015 17:10

Merton is running behind apparently - but they have published this table from which I've worked out we've got 1st choice which is great!

Wigeon · 16/04/2015 17:10

*3.49pm

BooChunky · 16/04/2015 17:10

We got our first choice!! So happy! Grin

longestlurkerever · 16/04/2015 17:10

It's here! 1st choice!! Thanks all for keeping me sane. x

PercyGherkin · 16/04/2015 17:11

London/Surrey here, all out on the website. 1st choice junior school, we were fairly confident but until you see it written down you can't help worrying. All accepted. Panic over for four years now.

scriptbunny · 16/04/2015 17:11

Haven't got an email yet, but I went onto the online system (Haringey) and it says we got our first choice! So relieved. Good luck everyone.

chouilla · 16/04/2015 17:13

longestlurkerever - hello. I went to the eadmission website. The offer was there at 1700. I have been refreshing quite often since 1630.
Sorry for those who haven't heard or didn't get their first choices. So stressfull.

WhyBeHappyWhenYouCouldBeNormal · 16/04/2015 17:13

ooh ooh - they've updated the online thingy though! Still no email...

chouilla · 16/04/2015 17:14

longestlurkerever - congrats !!

WhyBeHappyWhenYouCouldBeNormal · 16/04/2015 17:14

I really am super relieved. So many schools in the area had ridiculous numbers of applicants.

MTWTFSS · 16/04/2015 17:14

MrsGannicus and sanam2010 :( ((hugs)) I am so sorry you didn't get any of your choices :(

Sad for everyone who are disappointed with their allocated school. But don't panic and remember that it is just the first round. You still have a chance of getting a place in schools higher up on your list and you must remember to accept the school you have been allocated in order to remain on the council's waiting list. DON'T PANIC!

puddymuddles · 16/04/2015 17:16

Got 2nd choice. Lovely small school that will suit DD1. Only downside is 15/20 min walk when 1st choice was 30 secs over the road. But 1st choice v oversubscribed and we don't attend their church!!! Am pleased though.
