Is anyone else dying to find out which school they have been allocated?

This is for my PFB which makes it extra difficult for me :(

I can't talk about it in real life as it starts off as a nice casual conversation ending with some delusions of grandeur PFB nonsense Blush

Or you could just be worrying for nothing and tomorrow you will have a massive sigh of relief :)

Let's hope so. Just a pain when they change things. times lined up perfectly and now it's changed. not hugely but will be that little bit longer in the day which I could do without

seafoodeatit · 15/04/2015 15:47

giles hopefully it won't become an issue, how crazy that they'd change things now before parents can make a judgement call.

I've not tried diabetic chocolate but I've heard some of it is quite nice.

I'm trying not to panic too much about our first choice - last year lo wouldn't have gotten in, the year before he would.

Gileswithachainsaw · 15/04/2015 15:49

It's not the school it's the bus company that have changed tines (not school buses just regular buses)

now I have to speak to nursery and request they low dd in even earlier. they have been kind enough as it is and allow her early entry so I can make bus.

seafoodeatit · 15/04/2015 16:59

Oh no, I hope the nursery is understanding, you can hardly be blamed for the bus changing times.

Better hope I pass my diving test soon Sad

Hello all! I'm from Lincolnshire and waiting for my boys school place for juniors as he is currently in the infants school. It is the junior school in the same village I've put him down for but just because he goes to the infants doesn't mean he automatically gets in. I live out of the village but still in catchment, but depends what is in between lol. Know few people that live further away that have applied. We will see!!

I also work at a primary school. We have known who is in for a while now. roll on midnight as that's when I was able to log in last time to find out xx

Gileswithachainsaw · 15/04/2015 17:06

Hello donna

good luck Smile

Donna1605 · 15/04/2015 17:10

Good luck to you too!!
I've been following this thread but thought I'd wait till today when I hopefully find out before I posted. Sounds like lots are worried but hoping we all get our choices!

Gileswithachainsaw · 15/04/2015 17:11

Thank you Smile

MWestie · 15/04/2015 17:20

BTW will the email tell us our allocation or will it tell us to log-in?

OP posts:
MWestie · 15/04/2015 17:43

Not sure about other areas but our email stated the offer made, I then logged in to accept.

MrsGannicus · 15/04/2015 17:46

Everything crossed for you Giles

MTWTFSS I'm starting to think we live on the same road! 4 in my road too (and one just round the corner). Wherever you are, I hope you get in (as long as I do too if course)!

Gileswithachainsaw · 15/04/2015 17:47

Thank you mrs

Thank you Spring, and fingers crossed for you and everyone else waiting. I keep re-reading the email thinking, is this for real?? Wink

MrsGannicus · 15/04/2015 18:09

Also had MIL telling me that if we didn't get in, we should appeal and that we just need to give them a good reason to get in. I don't think "I just want DS to go there" is going to cut it! Why don't people understand the process?

Gileswithachainsaw · 15/04/2015 18:14

wow westie that's great really pleased for you Grin

yy mrs

dd is in real danger of having to be home schooled as I physically can't do two schools. bus timetables have also just changed making it more difficult at times. but that, is not their problem.

and I wish also that people understood that it's not a case of giving the best sob storey.

timeforacheckup · 15/04/2015 18:16

Hi all, hope you don't mind a late comer to the thread. Have no idea where dd1 is going to end up - 99% certain we won't get our first choice, 2nd and 3rd choices not looking great either. Too many children and severe lack of school places here. Kids sent to the other side of the city last year. Feel sick just thinking about it!

Leviticus · 15/04/2015 18:21

We've just had our email - DS got his (well, our) first choice, which I'm thrilled about as we weren't catchment.

Good luck everyone.
