Worries about back to school, with whats happening in England?

Is anyone worried to send there children back to school with what im seeing all over the news and media. I feel like am alone as I can't find any reassurance and the school have not got in contact

This is the third or fourth such scaremongering post in the last 10 days and MN does absolutely nothing.

What is the issue supposed to be?

I work in a primary school and we have no concerns at all about back to school other than the normal settling children back in!

Can you explain what you’re worried about, with links to reputable news sites eg. BBC, quality newspapers or quality publications such as FT / Economist etc? If there have been specific news stories in your area, tightly linked to schools / children, then a link to a local paper would be useful?

No OP, I have no concerns about sending my DC back to school.

Stop watching rubbish on TwatTok, then you’ll be a lot less stressed.

I was simply asking a question, I didn't mean to get hate for it im not scaremongering am just worried about my children and there school.

I'm a teacher. The only thing that worries me about going back to school is having to set my alarm in the morning and not being able to have an afternoon nap.

I dont really have anyone to talk about with this matter and upto now seeing people not worried as eased my anxiety about this situation. I stopped watching the news when we got put into lock down because I started feeling the same and I was looking for other opinions. Thanks

You need to concentrate on your own little family unit. Cut down on/stop social media like TikTok, stop watching the news again. You are seeing catastrophe and problems because social media is quite happy to keep feeding you that the more you look.
Schools are safe. Your children will be safe.

How is this ‘everything’ going to impact your children at school? What exactly do you think is going to happen to them?
