Medical abortion

Has anyone taken the abortion pill and could give me some details on how it went for you ? I have an appointment booked in and am scared of the pain /what I will go through and see and how long the whole process could take also they said I have an all day appointment including consultation scan etc , I will be about 7/8 weeks when I go for appointment, thanks x

Bleeding as started zero clots just like heavy period. I’m scared so far that this is too easy....

Lola when did the clots starts and when did you pass the pregnancy xx

The bleeding started around 2-3 hours after taking the pills and around an hour or so after that I felt something jelly like come out which I’m guessing was the pregnancy passing - I didn’t look just flushed the toilet. I didn’t really have many clots just thick blood when sat on the toilet and then medium bleeding on my pad. If you don’t mind me asking how many weeks are you? xx

I was 5+5 days when I went for my scan on Monday, I read that the earlier the less pain and bleeding so that might be the case for you xx

I thought same , seemed too easy , may get a bit heavier over next couple hours then should be just normal period type bleeding , when I called the clinic I said that exact thing she said why do us women expect everything to be so hard , we go through enough , she said everyone is different and I was told a lot that we only read horror stories as no one really comes online to say how ok it was , hope your ok x

I’m not joking girls what I read online I’d have rather had one million labours.

So hardly any bleeding went for a wee and lots of stuff just came out.... I don’t know if that was it. I didn’t look... it was asif I had an upset stomach.... help?

It may take you longer to bleed it definitely varies on the person and most of my bleeding happened when sat on the toilet so I wouldn’t worry about that x

I feel a bit sick now but no not yet still waiting have taken some pain relief and I’m just waiting. There’s no way Iv passed it already that would be way to easy and stories that I’ve read don’t even come close so.... my daughter is due home in an hour and she is an absolute wild case so I’m praying to god it’s out soon... thanks for your support today girls! Iv never ever signed up for mumsnet or anything like this but so glad I have! Xx

No problem at all, hope it continues to go smoothly for you, I've been bleeding for three days now and just had some cramps and passed some more blood so don’t worry if it doesn’t all pass today, the lady on the phone said it can sometimes take up to a week for all the tissue etc to pass xx

Have you had any bad cramps ? I definitely had painful cramps for around 4-6 hours but they weren’t unbearable just like a really bad period cramp, the bleeding has been pretty consistent since it started and was just slightly heavier within the first 8 hours after taking the pills x

Had the cramps and stuff been toilet again less clots this time- does it get worse than this? Xx

I had nothing more than the clots and bleeding for a few hours! You are prob over it if you seem to be stopping ! You will be ok and if your worried call clinic a lovely midwife will speak to you and talk you thru it and that is all ok xx we are here for you xx private message if you want my number I will talk you thru every step of your scared xx

Keep us updated but I think that could be you through the worst of it now:)

I honestly thought the same, just really hoping everything is okay at my check up and it has worked x

I still have to wait 2 and a half weeks to take the pregnancy test and I’m not booked in for a check up but they said I could phone if I still felt pregnant next week x

Because it’s only been three days since I think the hormone levels would still be too higher if I took one now x
