I'm 39 and 4+4 at the minute. I have only been with my bf 5 weeks and unfortunately got pregnant the first time we slept together. He knows and is being supportive as he can be. I'm booked in on 29th for 1st pill and back on 30th for 2nd lot. I'm so scared of the pain and bleeding . So many horror stories online. I know this is the right decision ut im so so terrified. Can anyone help shed some light on this..... help me settle my mind. X

Hey random. I mean fo u feel different like it's worked. I do. I dunno if that's in my head but I don't feel as tired or bloated or tender x 10 days. When did you bleeding stop?

Oh sorry just read you'll be sent home, you'll need someone with you and painkillers. If it gets very painful you go straight back to hospital

Scot, the only pregnancy syptom I had was slightly tender nipples and I don't seem to have those anymore. Bleeding actually only stopped a couple of days ago - I hope it will be quicker for you. I hadn't realised that the heavy bleeding is two stages. The first one is passing th pregnancy and the second one is shedding the womb lining. Given the amount of bleeding that I've had I'll be really gutted if it hasn't worked!

I'm glad to hear the bleeding has slowed, i hope tomorrow at work goes smoothly - it's not something manual is it. Try and avoid heavy lifting. I'm not surprised breast tenderness is still there, it takes time for the hcg level to drop.

Yeah tomorrow is only a week from first pill. Seems a life time away. Nah im a desk monkey x
