Hi everyone!

Well, I got my BFP on Friday morning and it is only just starting to sink in! According to my dates I am due 2nd Feb and I thought it would be nice to have a Feb babies thread, where we can all share our news/worries/excitement!

banana & MrsT St Georges isn't in my area, my hospital is Princess Anne (that is where they film One Born Every Minute!) I will have to look on their web site to see if I can see anything like that!

Honeywitch - it's nice to have another mum2be over 40 in the thread. You must be so excited - especially after all those years of longing, and the failed IVF.. Like you, this would be our first and probably only child, if it all works out. I have a couple of mc's behind me, so I'm a nervous wreck. All fingers and toes crossed! We can learn from our younger and more experienced pals here!

On an entirely separate subject, I had one little cup of tea today and gave myself a blinding headache that lasted for two hours! No more tea for me for a little while... Or chocolate

Hopping over from the other thread, though have had a bit of bleeding this morning so hoping I will still be ok. I'm tadjennyp, this is (hopefully) dc3, EDD 2nd Feb and I'm 36! My other two are dd who is 4 and ds who is 2. Having a day on the sofa in the hope that the little one will stay where it is at the moment.

Help I'm 4 weeks pregnant! I have 2 boys already and I wasn't expecting to have another one. Trying to get my head around the idea...want to tell people so I can talk about it. Trying to make the most of feeling o.k before the dreaded sickness kicks in...

Hi..all being well I am due early Feb too. Just before my little boy turns 3! Feeling v emotional and anxious. Keep worrying I will miscarry! Also..has anyone had a baby at Wexham Pk? I had my last baby at Wycombe and it was amazing. It is now shut down and I have choice of Wexham ( where I have heard bad stories) and Stoke Mandeville ( which is 20 miles) ! Any advice?

To all you lovely ladies who have enlarged/painful boobs.....when do you plan on getting a bigger bra? When I take mine off on a night I have red lines under my boob where my bra has been digging in. I am wondering if it is worth going and measured for a new bra?

suzym they are not going to get any smaller any time soon. Go get yourself a NON WIRED soft bra and be comfortable!

I gave up bfing the week I conceived this one so I'm still in my nursing bras (just started looking at getting some new normal ones then got my BFP!)

I'm tearing up over here, reading all the posts...and so out of it, I can't even find my own previous post!...starflower, all my love, all my love...you are so brave to share. at my age, I'm just quite afraid for this... first child, by surprise, at 40. My goodness! But no matter what, all will be okay. I'm glad you're here Mrs. Teapot And newdad nice to see you here carabee and all too

by the way, suzym get a non wire bra or a wire bra that doesn't dig...i read digging wire bras could lead to problems breastfeeding (as if we don't have enough to worry about!)

Wow! It has taken me ages to get through this lot this evening!

Massive congratulations to honeywitch that's a lovely story! Congrats also to all the new BFPs - I'm amazed how many people keep joining on a daily basis!

I've decided to ignore my doctor and recalculated my stats, as the more I think about it, the more little pieces fit together to date it where we think anyway. So, my new EDD is now 10th February! The family keep making clever comments about how lovely it will be if it's born on our wedding anniversary (14th) and I really can't say that I agree!!!

We've also started calling it little Peawee - DH thinks it's rather apt seeing as I'm always needing a wee at the moment!

Re bras - I was wondering the same myself. I just spalshed out on two beautiful looking bras that were the best fit I've ever worn on the same day as implantation! So the left booster pad came out on Tuesday and the right one on Wednesday and I'm now wondering how much longer before I'm back again for more (not that I think Ann Summers sell many non-wired soft bras!!!)

nicb79 hope your emotions are settling down - you can always talk to us. My SIL had a 'surprise' third child - they reckon it was conceived the day before the vasectomy!! She was initially gutted and annoyed and upset but as soon as it was born she fell totally in love and decided it was the happiest accident ever... hope you feel the same...

Ooooh - just got my letter with the appointment for my booking-in. But it's not until the 9th of July - seems very late - I'll be 10 weeks by then!! As long as the scan isn't delayed as a result... I'm hoping to tell people that we're pregnant at my birthday festivities which are on the 20th July but won't if we haven't had the scan by then....

KNT Lucky you, although its a bit of a wait. I've heard nothing yet, and visited my GP over a week ago now. Will chase next week if haven't heard anything. Thanks too for the link to Ravelry.

Can i join, I did a test this morning and got a BFP! I think i already kind of knew though. Just done the date calculator thing and its given a due date of 11 feb.

It's great to have other people to chat to about this stuff. I havent told anyone except DP. We live overseas so there'll be a lot to consider about medical stuff here and when to tell people etc.

Also, I'm halfway through an MSc, I always said i wanted to get it finished by christmas, and there's nothing quite like a deadline i guess... but i think i'll have to stop logging on here during the day and get some work done!

Hope everyone's feeling ok today - I'm feeling a bit wobbly, but i think that's just from the shock...

Hey Guys, just to say it'll be a lot more difficult keeping up with you all now that the World Cup is about to start, but I know you'll all be avidly following it too eh ...

Have updated our averages (will try and convince The Good Lady (Tallulahbelly - look out for her in the upcoming weeks) to update the charts this weekend as well.

So with all the new additions our current average age is now - 32.2 years and the average child number is - 1.7. The scatter graph showing our various due dates is looking extremely well populated now. We also have a more even spread of dates, with the 17th now being our latest.

I keep asking (which I'm sure she'll tell you is getting pretty annoying) but no new symptoms to report by the way. But still interesting to know what your all experiencing and going through.
