Oh WOO HOO !!!! Congratulations Ermintrude!! Wonderful news and a great weight with no stiches - fannytastic
Waiting for photos now ....

Woo MrsB at the standing! Smart boy!

Tee hope the boys lets you get some sleep tonight. Have you tried swaddling him? I know it's hot but you can do it with a cotton sheet and little else on him. M slept amazingly well when all wrapped up tight. She felt secure and it also mean she couldn't hit herself in the face and wake herself up.

mrsboogie · 29/06/2009 23:25

still up!

BonzoDoodah · 30/06/2009 04:45

up again!!!

duchesse · 30/06/2009 05:21

Up again as well!!!

Bloody crows...

iris66 · 30/06/2009 05:53

being up so early isn't a good thing is it (bloody pigeons are sat eating my broccoli sprout plants too )

Tee2072 · 30/06/2009 07:45

Good morning.

Good baby was good again. Slept from about 10:30ish to...4:30. And back to sleep at 5:30 and still asleep. You can all hate me now.

Hope the heat isn't too bad for everyone today. Girls from my office (not coworker, she's left the company) are coming over on their lunch hour to see my little man.

mrsb I hope you got some sleep!

bonzo duchesse iris I hope you got back to sleep or at least can get your heads down today!

jeanjeannie · 30/06/2009 07:59

Morning all. Just wrote HUGE post and the connection failed and it's gone - Grrrr

tee fab that A slept well and enjoy showing him off to the girls today

Hope you sleepless ladies manage to fit some time in today for a kip. Perhaps we should have a night board for you lot

erm hope you had a lovely first night snuggled up to young Arthur and the milk is kicking in. Ooooo, mine are just shrivelling up while yours are peaking!

Singing group this morning and then that's it. The afternoons have been a bit of a write off for us as the girls get all irritable in the heat.

iris66 · 30/06/2009 08:01

Tee - Adam's an absolute angel isn't he!! Hope it's a permanent thing

IT'S RAINING!!! - soooooooo much cooler today (so far so good) and the rain's forecast all day! Cankles not completely gone but significantly better.

I'm meeting some mates for a cuppa then taking the boys to music group so better crack on and prep their lunch for when we get back.

Hope all the other LOs(and mums)had some sleep last night.

johnworf · 30/06/2009 09:03

Is it bedtime yet?

Oh deary me. After mucho wrestling herself, K finally went off around 9.30 last night. Then as I was getting into bed at midnight (very late for me) she started screaming her head off. Fast forward to 1.30 and me and DH sat up in the bedroom with her while she was laughing her head off Soon as she went in her cot she started up again....oh goodness me. She's full of beans this morning of course unlike the rest of us.

DSS didn't wake up until 8am which is unheard of. He's always awake before 7am. Anyway, I go in to check he's ok and he's sat on the bed crying. Turns out he was fed up and upset that he 'got up late' (which he hadn't). It's the time obsession. If he's not up 'when he should be' then we have tears.

Hope you ladies have a better day than being nocturnal. Any news from ermintrude and baby Arthur yet?

JJ with you on the afternoons being a dead loss. Don't blame you staying at home. Eating posts is a mare isn't it? I wrote loads last week and the connection ate mine. Felt like throwing the damn thing.

I'm taking the air cons back to the shop today. Not very good at all and the normal fan I had beforehand is more effective. Gonna stop off on way to eye hospital.

tee enjoy showing A off to the girls from the office

Good luck at eye hospital JW.

Poor erm. First we bug her to give birth, then we bug her to post pictures!!

BonzoDoodah · 30/06/2009 10:02

No chance of a nap as am in work all day - but did get back to sleep for an hour ZZzzzzz.

iris you could string up some old CDs over the veg patch (the free ones you get sent all the time) as this scares away the bloody pigeons

johnworf · 30/06/2009 10:14

Ta tee. Find out if she needs specs today

johnworf · 30/06/2009 10:24

I bought this for my DH y'day. It was in Next although can't see it online. DH is thrilled with it - calling all you ladies with geeky OH's. It perfectly combines Haynes, bible to all petrol heads and geek freaks, perfectly with Star Wars fans. A rare yet tragic combination. One which I have right here at home.

Just need to point out that the man in these pics is for illustration purposes only. The only pic I can find of it. He is NOT my DH!

Am SO jealous of the t-shirt jw will have to buy if for myself DP

dxx

johnworf · 30/06/2009 10:48

haha @ dawn Methinks this tshirt will flush out the geeks amongst us

OP posts:
duchesse · 30/06/2009 10:56

heavy. breathless. zonked.

Tee2072 · 30/06/2009 11:01

Well, DH would like the AT-AT Part, but would be like this at the rest. My DH has never even had a driver's license, never mind a car!!!

johnworf · 30/06/2009 11:13

tee it's the detail that attracts them...Ask any self respecting geek this q: 'would you like to wear an AT-AT tech spec tshirt?'

I rest my case m'lud

P.S. I'm just wondering if JJ has tried this out already on her OH...I know he came out as a geek a long time ago

iris66 · 30/06/2009 11:15

duchesse - think we could do with a virtual spa in here Music was a killer - felt nauseous all the way through. Lunch, pre-school run, DS2 to bed then I'm definately having a rest!

BonzoDoodah · 30/06/2009 11:21

Ha jw my hubby has this on his Tshirt ... (can't find the actual Tshirt print but it's the same image) ... so a slightly different kind of hippy-geek.

duchesse ... any particular reason?

iris66 · 30/06/2009 11:28

Bonzo - I like that one (clearly we're not geeky enough in this house )

dawntigga · 30/06/2009 12:03

DP has the sparkly storm trooper t-shirt from Next - sometimes I let him wear it other times it's in the wash for some inexplicable reason! He's starting to not believe the fairies put it on me whilst I sleep

dxx

duchesse · 30/06/2009 12:04

Ah well, I'm beginning to think that this basket ball someone seems to have taped to my front might have something to do with it...

jeanjeannie · 30/06/2009 12:18

Hi all - feeling miserable - will tell all later, just feeling really hurt and sad

Anyway - DP would like THIS sort of thing on a t-shirt. In fact anything from the Axminster power tool centre would be fine for him! He is rather partial to Howies T-shirts. His fave is the one that says - New/Faster/better/obsolete. So apt for our times!

jw is right though - DP is a geek - and he's very partial to a clever pun. He'd like a t-shirt about particle physics or string theory

heron22 · 30/06/2009 12:20

hello all! another hot day! where is that rain???

erm CONGRATS on the arrival of baby arthur! wow, 10lbs and no stitches ! take my hat off to ya!

jw sorry about your sleepless night! kids! good luck at the eye clinic.

tee your A is a star

anyone watched andy murray last night? what a thriller! i think he has a chance of winning the whole thing!

bought a little fan for LO cos it just gets too hot at night for him. last night he did not wear his usual gro. put him in his daytime gro, short ones, and rolled up the sleeves. and covered him with a thin cotton blanket. DH&I slept sans covers last night with fan on! DS1 was the only one who slept under his duvet! with fan on as well.

enjoy this day!
