I am 32 weeks pregnant. I have SPD. I have a Bartholin's cyst (growing bigger by the day!). I can't sleep for SPD pain / compressed bladder/anxiety dreams about impending birth (VBAC or elective c0section? Still can't decide!)

And to cap it all off, I have now developed haemorrhoids
(sp?) of epic proportions. Ouch. Ouch. Ouch.

Feel free to join me in a BIG, FAT WHINGE.

Twelvelegs · 10/10/2008 12:59

Twelvelegs · 10/10/2008 12:59

EffiePerine · 10/10/2008 13:01

can I join?

29w, heartburn has just kicked in. Top tip: lemon gaviscon tablets are vile

Chinchi: I remember you having a scare about an early arrival a few weeks back: is all OK now?

FlirtyThirty · 10/10/2008 13:59

Chinchi - Happy Birthday! I would certainly be having a little glass of lager if that's what your heart desires and it's your birthday!

Oh, and a recent treat I've found...Dime bars! Gorgeous! Hadn't had one for decades and then saw them in newsagent when getting chance fo the bus...now can't get enough of them! (Another element of my healthy diet!?)

TheProvincialLady · 10/10/2008 14:09

Can I join too please? My qualifications are:

SPD
A bad back but thankfully responding to osteopath
Have just had a kidney infection
My fanjo is all swollen and hurts
Thrush
Heartburn and reflux
Exhausted exhausted exhausted BUT
Awake for no apparent reason for 2 or 3 hours every night
My DS has just hit 2. In a big way.
I am only 29 weeks so there are 10 more to go at least and they can only get WORSE

I could moan for Britain at the moment.

EffiePerine · 10/10/2008 15:17

TPL: are you me? DS was 2 on Weds and am also 29 w (not a good combination I find). Thanksfully I WOH 4 days a week, so though the travelling etc. is hard at least I'ma round adults who make allowances! Hats off to those dealing with toddlers 7 days a week.

TheProvincialLady · 10/10/2008 15:44

Yes I sometimes wonder if going to work would be easier!

mad4mybaby · 10/10/2008 16:12

personally having done both, being at work IS easier. Physically i mean. Obv id rather be with my kids. SAHM is a 24/7 job and unfortunately you cant shut the door/turn it off! Although a mute button would be nice now and then!

chinchi · 10/10/2008 16:18

All ok at the moment EffiePerine! Had contractions at 26 weeks so was admitted for 2 nights and given steriods etc. Was in the following week as I thought my waters had broken but turns out it was just incontinence (hands head in shame).

Had few niggles and aches since then that have had me worried, but baby Chinchi seems quite content where she is!

I remember this time last year, I was rooming-in in SCBU as DS was due home the following day! He is now running rings around me!

Off to Asda soon to find the biggest cake I can, and to browse the booze aisles and hope Kaliber or Becks is on offer! Tesco do alcohol free lager in regular Coke sized tins and they are yum!

"Hands another batch of cake around for those hungry for seconds"

pgwithnumber3 · 10/10/2008 18:54

I meant to put low alcohol cider not calorie! You can see my priorities...

mad4mybaby · 10/10/2008 19:06

god yeah calories? What are they? I tried a non alcoholic cider from tesco and it was gross. What are the best ciders? Either no alchol (is that not just apple juice?!) or low alcohol?

EffiePerine · 10/10/2008 20:28

Glad to hear baby Chinchi has decided to stay out for the time being

EffiePerine · 10/10/2008 20:28

put not out! Don't listen to the madwoman!

babybear77 · 11/10/2008 15:52

not a medical problem - but the discovery of stretch marks was enough to make me cry...which i seem to be able to do without much prompting at the moment

girlylala0807 · 11/10/2008 16:02

Im 13+5 and have the following:

24 hour morning sickness
headaches
sore back
work to do for uni that i cant be arsed with

xx

Poppy5 · 11/10/2008 17:02

Hi - what a great thread! Makes me feel less isolated.

I am 23 weeks pg and have been told I might have gallstones - apparently pregnant women are prone to it (I didn't know that!). Am waiting for further tests next week but until then is anyone else going through the same thing and what helps get you through the severe pain on the right side of the bump??

Hope we all start to feel better soon - aren't we meant to be blooming..?!?

Oblomov · 11/10/2008 17:17

Can I join?
I am 34+.
Nothing wrong with me at all.
A bit swollen. Very sick. Have been all the way through. But feel o.k.
Just like/enjoy a good moan.
Is that allowed ?
Sorry

herbgarden · 11/10/2008 18:35

23 weeks
DS (2.3 months) has decided that sleeping is not a good thing at lunchtime anymore.

Breathlessnes after any physical exertion (and I'm not usually unfit)
Pelvic dsyfunction pain in right buttock and leg.
Heartburn
Insomnia
Irritable and tired and grumpy and
HATE BEING PREGNANT SECOND TIME ROUND...

PinkTulips · 11/10/2008 19:19

can i add to my list?

my bum bleeds every time i poo but as i'm not convinced it's piles as opposed to anal fissures and you can't use anusol on fissures i'm pretending it's not happening

my kids are driving me slowely insane

dp has an exam in 2 weeks and is studying 24/7 and my car still isn't insured so i'm stuck 5 miles from town. i think i've worn out my welcome at my friends house i've spent so much time there lately with my horrendous kids

i can barely get up the stairs without either my back giving in or being unable to breathe

and i'm only 23 weeks so have half the preg still to fecking go [sob]

gem1981 · 12/10/2008 01:20

pssst MRS MATTIE

sorry to bring this up but i also have a bartholin's cyst (38 weeks pregnant) had it since about 26 weeks.

docs are just leaving it be until after birth - noticed over the past couple of days that it has got a bit bigger - do you know of any natural remedies? (long shot!!!)

LazyLinePainterJane · 12/10/2008 08:05

36 Weeks tomorrow. This week has lasted FOREVER

Louisexox · 12/10/2008 17:43

39 weeks pregnant, I feel like the babys never going to come out. I spend ages cleaning and the cat came in and put muddy paw prints everywhere. I have the cold and a sore throat. No matter how much I ear I'm never full. I can't see my fanny so shaving is an interesting task. I have so much washing to put away it's unreal.I can't get up without a extreme amount of effort. To top it all off my Partner is expecting a proper home cooked meal tonight when he gets back from work, he cans shove that idea up his ar*e.

Haha sometimes theres nothing like a good moan.

LoveActually · 12/10/2008 17:56

We are moving this week and I am a bit fed up of not feeling as energetic as I used to. That's my moan of the day. Can't say I've had any other problems apart from suspected Braxton Hicks, but then that was my fault for overdoing it in the gym. I'll be that by 39 weeks I'll feel like Louisexox

My moans are silly really:

Being ignored in a high street store (Reiss) and I still fitted into one of their woolly dresses. The assistant gave me a horrid up and down look. Before pg I used to spend hundreds a year in there buying my work clothes!!!

Not being able eat chocolate and bread and butter because i am getting heartburn (what happened to eating for two, this seems to have passed me by?)

Being told to slow down!
xxx

mad4mybaby · 13/10/2008 10:08

ok finally hit 34 weeks but feels like 44. Today i have zero energy, can barely move and ache all over plus struggling to breath even though he has dropped down. Was such hard work getting ds to preschool today. I feel like that is it ive had enough of being pg now.

Oh and dh does sod all to help me or even pretend to feel sorry for me.

This is just like a dear diary. I love it!
