Hi!

Thought I'd start a group for those of us just getting our positives now and are due in April 2027!

I've just had a positive from a frozen embryo transfer. One DD and a previous loss and one failed cycle.

Anxious putting one foot in front of the other in these early days!

Feel like I'm spiralling a bit today 😞 I've had some brown discharge (sorry TMI!) and so swapped my pessary to rectally a couple of days ago. It's still happening a little bit and my clinic has said try not to worry but it's so hard not to! My viability scan isn't until the 3rd of September which was when we were given bad news last time so just feeling a little emotional...

Ah sorry you’re having a tough day @Leoladyttc1. I think it is only natural to get emotional about the milestones especially when they have gone badly before - I simultaneously feel like I can’t wait for the 12-week scan but also dreading it because that’s where my MMC was discovered.

I haven’t had fertility treatment but I think if your clinic are saying not to worry too much, that’s a good sign. A previous (v wise!) poster said a good way to look at it is that worrying won’t change any outcome, and that every pregnancy is different, and I’m trying to remember that as the days go by (so slowly - the year was flying until I got my BFP and now it’s dragging!).

It’s definitely true that every pregnancy is different - with my MMC I was mostly just tired, nauseous and had the metallic mouth taste; this time I have those too (apart from the metallic taste - everything tastes too sweet instead) but unlike last time I’ve lots of pelvic pain and am really thirsty!
