Hi!

Thought I'd start a group for those of us just getting our positives now and are due in April 2027!

I've just had a positive from a frozen embryo transfer. One DD and a previous loss and one failed cycle.

Anxious putting one foot in front of the other in these early days!

@Orchid887 @RowsOfFlowers I did a gender scan with my LO at 16/17 weeks to break up the wait, as the gap between 12 and 20 feels like a lifetime! I’d definitely do the same again.

But yeah the first trimester is dragging like mad!

I have my 7 week scan tomorrow so fingers crossed all is fine so far! Then it’s just taking it scan by scan 🙏

good luck for tomorrow! 🙏💫 I was thinking of doing the same with a 15/16 week scan ☺️ Tiredness has really kicked in for me today, grateful to only have one more day at work this week!

RowsOfFlowers · 13/08/2026 21:31

That’s a good idea @Tinytotdriver i think I’ll do the same.

yeh first trimester is dragging. I can’t wait for it to be out of the way.

Does anyone know if having loads of ultrasounds causes any risks towards baby? That’s something that’s been on my mind.

Orchid887 · 13/08/2026 22:33

Yeah, I had a 16 week scan with my DD and will definitely be doing the same again!

Good luck tomorrow @Tinytotdriver! I'll be thinking of you!

@RowsOfFlowers- I believe that as long as it's a qualified sonographer and a registered clinic it's absolutely fine to have an extra couple scans!

@RowsOfFlowersultrasounds are completely safe ❤️ I had to have them every 2-4 weeks in my second pregnancy as I was high risk and will be the same with this one

lm1986 · 14/08/2026 05:22

Hi, tenetavily joining as got my bfp today and due date calculated as 28th of April! 4 days after my middle sons 16th!!

1sttimemummn · 14/08/2026 09:47

@Orchid887 @RowsOfFlowers i was about to say the same I got a 16 week scan with my first two, it’s such a huge gap other wise isn’t it!! I’m so desperate for these first few weeks to pass I I know everything is ok but after that I know it’s going to whizz by haha xx

Tinytotdriver · 14/08/2026 11:18

Successful scan! Measuring between 6-7 weeks. They did it externally rather than internally which I was surprised by so didn’t have anything to drink, but they still saw clearly which was good! I’m due back at the clinic in 2 weeks so hopefully the good news continues 🙏

Same here. I just want to whizz into second trimester. Feel like I have so many nerves these initial weeks 😅

Hi, I am tentatively joining as I got my BFP yesterday and i would be due 25th April.... just hoping someone could help ease my tiny bit of anxiety as I have had mmc last year and a chemical last month, I have low back cramps yesterday and today which feel like normal af cramps...is this normal? 😬they are not crazy crampy, nor are they all the time they come and go...

beeble347 · 14/08/2026 12:59

Hi guys! Great news about the positive scans 🤗 I've been so shattered recently, toddler waking up early and disturbed sleep isn't helping. And feeling sick! I've only been sick a couple of times but I didn't vom when pregnant with my son until I was 8 weeks I think so it's started earlier. Going off some food too.

Got my first scan at 8 weeks exactly so I'm in that weird limbo where I feel like crap but also don't know what's going on yet. And I go back to work the day before the scan - and also when the nausea usually ramps up 😬

Had my booking appt with the midwife, all good so far though definitely some more personal questions about my childhood etc than I remember last time. Some unusual qs though, they checked if me and DH were blood related 😬

LEBee92 · 14/08/2026 13:07

Hi - I’m joining today after 3 BFPs this week that have definitely been getting darker which is reassuring.

I had a chemical pregnancy last month so surprised I’ve caught on again so fast but excited and anxious in one go with this one! Fingers crossed it’s a sticky one!

chilworth · 14/08/2026 15:34

Hi all. Hope everyone’s doing okay. Joining with surprise baby number 3! Have a 5 yr old and 1 yr old already. Really bad at following on Mumsnet so have joined the WhatsApp - hope that’s okay! I think I’m 7 weeks but as I wasn’t tracking will try and get a dating scan soon. Hope nobody’s feeling too rough x

Screenburn · 14/08/2026 16:23

Hello everyone, another nervous Nelly joining here - am almost 5 weeks but was scared to join before, after my first pregnancy last year ended in a MMC at 9.5 weeks (found out at the 12 week scan and it was a real shock after having a private scan at 6 weeks showing a strong heartbeat).

Does anyone have tips for dealing with the anxiety?

Orchid887 · 14/08/2026 16:49

Congratulations to all the new joiners!

Amazing news @Tinytotdriver- absolutely delighted for you.

@BeKeenPeachLemur- I've had some cramps and a scan, all was perfect and they said it's all very normal as everything grows and changes.

Also joining after a very giant positive at 8dpo yesterday, another girly who had a chemical pregnancy in May this year so very nervous and excited

currently a little nauseous, lots of rumbling and cramping in my stomach, I struggled to sleep last night too. Feels really different to the chemical pregnancy, not sure if anyone else experiences that too?

Oggychaps · 15/08/2026 07:44

Confirmed on a digital test today, 9dpo!

Hi ladies, I've been reading this conversation and thought I'd finally say hi 🙋🏼‍♀️. I'm currently 5 weeks 1 day after a 5 day FET. Last year I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks after finding out the baby was tracking only 6 weeks 2 days at the 8 week mark so it's been hard to feel too excited at this stage. I've also not 'felt' pregnant or had symptoms so trying not to spiral about that.

It's just nice to read about other women in similar situations :)

1sttimemummn · 15/08/2026 09:11

@chilworth hey! Congratulations ❤️ How did you join the WhatsApp? I’ve just been going through the chat but can’t see the link anywhere? I’ve had to stop searching at page 7 as my two boys are causing chaos haha x

1sttimemummn · 15/08/2026 09:54

Just found the WhatsApp link and joined, hope that’s ok xx

Best tip for anxiety (I’ve had 3 MMCs and 1 live birth) is just to take each pregnancy as it’s own separate thing. Whatever happened in the last pregnancy (good or bad) doesn’t mean it will happen in this one. Worrying doesn’t change anything.

For example I had horrendous HG in one pregnancy and was terrified of getting pregnant and experiencing it again, never had it since. I’ve always been sick, but at least a manageable amount, whereas having HG traumatised me!

I also just tell myself, “right now I’m pregnant, and I’m pregnant until I hear otherwise” and it helps a lot. But it is definitely an anxious and worrying time no matter what you do!

Hi @Leoladyttc1- Nice to have you here. I'm 8 weeks pregnant following a 5 day FET and had a similar loss previously. I get the spiralling! When's your clinic scan?

OP posts:
Leoladyttc1 · 16/08/2026 11:26

@Orchid887 - it's on the 3rd of September. I have read enough posts and forums now to know I shouldn't base the healthiness of the pregnancy on symptoms but you always want what you don't have right! Currently debating whether to go on a mini holiday the days leading up to the scan, but also need to think if travelling with meds will stress me out too much 🫠

Orchid887 · 16/08/2026 14:53

@Leoladyttc1- It feels like forever away but it'll be hear before you know it. I felt physically sick going into my scan. I had waited and waited for it but when it came around I almost didn't want to know!!
I get that, though you're early for symptoms! With my DD they hit at 6 weeks on the dot. (With this pregnancy I had hyperemesis from the day after my positive test..!)

A little holiday sounds glorious. Are you on cyclogest? I'm finding they need to be used from the fridge in this heat!
