Hi!

Thought I'd start a group for those of us just getting our positives now and are due in April 2027!

I've just had a positive from a frozen embryo transfer. One DD and a previous loss and one failed cycle.

Anxious putting one foot in front of the other in these early days!

I’ve also been testing like a mad woman! Also so worried that my lines aren’t progressing enough/at all. That combined with ongoing spotting and I’m having a nightmare!

TiffanyBlythe · 24/07/2026 10:34

Sounds like we’re all testing crazy at the moment 🤣

PumpkinPieFairy · 24/07/2026 10:37

Hi everyone - just got a positive test yesterday! Bit stunned. Period has been wonky since coming back post partum / while breastfeeding, so I didn’t think much of it being “late” - and here we are 😂

I had two miscarriages before my 1yo, so early pregnancy isn’t my fave!!

PearOpal · 24/07/2026 10:40

Checking in. Tested positive 5dp5dt. OTD is next week but so far so good. Definitely a serial tester as I’d never seen a positive before this in my life and it just makes me happy 😂. Looking forward to the journey and learning with you all!

Orchid887 · 24/07/2026 11:46

Welcome to all the new people!! Amazing news for all your positives!

I am also a nightmare tester. I started 3DP5DT (8dpo equivalent) and three times a day since. Also one to fret over lines etc. Told myself I'd stop on official test day but had a couple slips since then...!

I'm super anxious but counting down the days until 12th August for my early scan. I'll be 7 weeks and 3 days. It was at this scan that I had bad news last time and I'm going wildly between feeling certain this one is different and I have a good feeling.. and spiraling that it'll happen again!!

Wow our stories are very similar! My period has also been very wonky since returning, I’m still bf my 1 year old, so I’m not 100% sure on my dates tbh. I too had two miscarriages before my daughter

Bumblebeemee · 24/07/2026 12:34

Also a serial tester, twice a day! Can’t help myself and I seem to get stronger lines in the evening. I know it’s not a guarantee but seeing the line get darker reassures me for about 10 minutes. Waiting for a missed period then going to book an early scan for a day my kids are in childcare so DH and I can go without asking family to look after them. I think I’ll be 7 weeks 5 days so should be good progression if all is going well.

The anxiety of the first trimester is unreal!

Tinytotdriver · 24/07/2026 14:51

Today is my actual period due date and I’ve started spotting brown and having cramps (cramps started yesterday). Feeling nervous now… has anyone ever had this? Hoping it amounts to nothing

ThisNoisyLemur · 24/07/2026 20:41

Congratulations everyone! ❤️

Cautiously joining! Just had a positive at 12DPO!

We have a 2.5yo and have been trying for 10 months for this baby 🥹❤️

Feeling grateful but anxious! Xxx

How are things going? Fingers crossed things have settled down!

I’ve had two MC, but also had a wee bit of brown spotting early in my successful pregnancy. Such a stressful time!

Ahh how funny! How are you feeling this time round? So different having a BF little person this time!

My due date based on last period is 1 April - suuuuch early days!

@PumpkinPieFairy @ThisNoisyLemur
seems to have stopped thank you, so hopefully there’s no more!

It would be great to enjoy this period of time before the morning sickness and symptoms start to kick in 😅

How exciting! I’ve got an early scan on the same day- everything crossed for us both 😍I’m such a blabber & so is my husband…we’ve told lots of friends because we’re so excited (and if the worst happens, so they can be there for us). The next 2 and a bit weeks are going to drag!!

Orchid887 · 25/07/2026 08:38

@greenshirt06- oh amazing! Mine is first thing! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for us both.

I told pretty much everyone last time, mostly as I had hyperemesis and also because, like you, I'd want some support if it went wrong. And honestly I appreciated having that support. I've let my closest in already for the same reason and so I can share the anxiety out!

My due date based on last period is 1 April - suuuuch early days!

Feeling quite nervous to be honest, luckily my daughter is keeping me on my toes so not much time to sit and get in my head too much. I ovulated 7 days later than expected (I think), based on ovulation I’ll be due 2nd April. How are you feeling?

beeble347 · 25/07/2026 13:25

Hi everyone! I recognise a few names from the TTC thread this month 🤗

I had two VFLs yesterday and had these this morning. AF was due today.

Felt confident enough to tell my husband, got my 17mo old involved - very sweet and luckily he's small enough not to really know what was going on, as it's so early.

Almost doesn't feel real! Though I was feeling from my symptoms pretty confident I was pregnant as they felt quite similar to last time, then had BFNs at 12 and 13dpo. Talked myself out of it being our month and now this! Very emotional and sweet when my DH found out

greenshirt06 · 22/07/2026 15:30

Hi! I'm due end of March 2027 having found out yesterday (after the first month of trying)... which was a bit of a shock to say the least! Absolutely scared sh*tless but I think I'm excited!

I'm the same as you, due end of March and still in shock after getting a BFP first time 😅as our first took about 7 months. I've done a few more tests with good progression, and I'll stop soon after I get 3+ weeks on a digital.

Currently 19DPO or about 4+5...not yet done a midwife referral, but I've already told my manager in case I need to be off sick in the near future, as I was pretty bad with first pregnancy.

Hello to everyone else from the TTC thread, I think we've had a good few successes this month!

Orchid887 · 25/07/2026 14:18

Ah it's lovely to see some names from the TTC threat here! Congratulations @beeble347!

How is everyone feeling symptom wise? I'm 4 weeks 6 days and already the sickness has hit. I'm on cyclizine three times a day and still being sick.

Have a horrible feeling I may have to cop to it quite early at work...!

Hope you're okay @Tinytotdriver- I understand the fear!

Very, very cautiously joining. 11DPO today, first bfp was 2 days ago. Last cycle I found out at 11DPO and then had a chemical pregnancy one week later. I’m very anxious but would love to join you ladies!

Orchid887 · 25/07/2026 14:59

@VioletTea27- Welcome and gentle congratulations, you can join us anxious bods in the wait to see how things pan out! I'm sorry about your chemical, it really is tough.

@Orchid887 I was sick a few days ago, a good 2 or 3 weeks earlier than it kicked in last time, but I started Xonvea straightaway and it seems to be doing wonders at the moment! Can up the dosage and possibly add Ondasteron as well if needed. Don't suffer if the Cyclizine isn't helping, it did bugger all for me

ThisNoisyLemur · 25/07/2026 18:52

ugh so anxious… had a positive digital yesterday at 12DPO, but today I have brown/pink spotting, cramping that makes me feel lightheaded, one sided dull ache and did an analog test and the line is soooo faint compared to this time of my last pregnancy… so worried it’s a chemical or even ectopic :(

any support grateful 💔

Orchid887 · 25/07/2026 19:45

@Mortima- Yes it seems to have kicked in early every time here. With my DD, cyclizine worked. With my loss, cyclizine and ondansetron together still didn't get full control. I've not tried Xonvea yet so I'll ask for it Monday. Have a pre booked call to check in!

@ThisNoisyLemur- I'm so sorry you're feeling so worried.
Firstly - I know how hard it is, but try not to compare this to your last pregnancy. Exactly ovulation and implantation time varies considerably between pregnancies. A friend of mine had her positive with her first on 10dpo and her second wasn't until 13dpo! (So obviously the line strength was also very different). Both healthy happy boys. It may well just be that it took longer to implant. As long as tests are progressing that's all that matters.
The spotting that you've described can also be completely normal in early pregnancy, as is cramping! I know how hard it is, I'm here on the back of a loss and I'm wildly googling every second. As long as there is no fresh red bleeding or very bad pain/bad one sided pain, it's likely all is well.
It's one hell of a wait these first few weeks.

So sorry for the stress @ThisNoisyLemur as @Orchid887 said, pregnancies can be so different can't they! I tested positive last time at what I thought was 11dpo but having calculated how my due date got adjusted once I had my scans, I was actually about 17dpo at the time. My lines then were stronger than at this point now but I'm not as far along.

I also remember obsessively testing last time and panicking my line was getting fainter, but apparently as your HCG gets stronger it can be a bit much for the tests and show up less. Idk that's what research/Mumsnet told me last time and toddler is healthy and happy.

I know more than one person who had bleeding during their otherwise extremely healthy and boring pregnancies. One is a colleague who told me about being pregnant and finding a handprint sized blood stain while at work - her DS is now in his last year at uni.
