Hi!

Thought I'd start a group for those of us just getting our positives now and are due in April 2027!

I've just had a positive from a frozen embryo transfer. One DD and a previous loss and one failed cycle.

Anxious putting one foot in front of the other in these early days!

so I’m 4+3 and I’m not kidding when I say I’m already showing. Anyone else? This isn’t my first time so maybe that’s why…

could it be bloating? They do say you show sooner if it isn’t your first…

@Leoladyttc1- It feels like forever away but it'll be hear before you know it. I felt physically sick going into my scan. I had waited and waited for it but when it came around I almost didn't want to know!!
I get that, though you're early for symptoms! With my DD they hit at 6 weeks on the dot. (With this pregnancy I had hyperemesis from the day after my positive test..!)

A little holiday sounds glorious. Are you on cyclogest? I'm finding they need to be used from the fridge in this heat!

@Orchid887 - so true about then not wanting to know! I'm on cyclogest 2x a day, lubion 1x a day and estrogen tablets 3x a day. The cyclogest has definitely felt softer at times! And I've had to throw a couple away when they've become too soft to insert 🙈 I ended up refrigerating them when I was at a music gig Friday night because it was SO hot! The medical tent luckily stored them for me. Injecting and using cyclogest at an outdoor gig was interesting!

Did/have you told many people that you're pregnant?

Super bloated here too! Embarrassingly so, as in my clothes look and feel horrific now 😐

KG1244 · 16/08/2026 16:17

@Tinytotdriver @RowsOfFlowers yes definitely bloated! Apparently the rise in progesterone can cause it…..

RowsOfFlowers · 16/08/2026 16:27

I am also using cyclogest 🙋🏽‍♀️ looking forward to tapering off soon!

Orchid887 · 16/08/2026 17:15

@Leoladyttc1- It ended up being almost 3 years to the day, the same scanner lady and the same room... I hated it! But a very different outcome thank goodness.

I take all my estrogen (4 tablets) at the same time in the evening so it's at least one less thing to remember. But the three times a day cyclogest has been a struggle.. after the first few were basically soup in the packet, it had to be fridge. I was on lutigest before so it wasn't something to worry about, coulf have them dotted around everywhere, kept in the car etc.

I've told most people now I've had a positive scan. I have hyperemesis so some had to know! My extended family don't yet, but close friends and family do. Have you?

How are you feeling on it @RowsOfFlowers?

I’m 5+4 with my 3rd and seriously bloated! Especially by late afternoon/evening, I had to immediately loosen my jeans the second I got in this afternoon. And already worrying about family or colleagues noticing the bloat bump before I’ve told anyone 🫣

Lashestoashes · 16/08/2026 21:01

I’m actually in shock at the moment but I’ve just had two very strong BFP tests for my second! Bit nervous because my daughter is only turning 7 months next week so I hadn’t really planned on 2 under 2. Plus it took us 3.5 years to conceive our first. I’ve only had one period since having her so I think I’m about 4 weeks based on conception dates with an EDD of 25th April! Have joined the WhatsApp group ☺️

Same. I feel like it already looks so obvious!

Hello 😊 I’m now 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant following a day 5 modified natural FET on the 29th July ✨ I’ve had some betas done to double check and they’re in the thousands and doubling nicely. Now the anxiety riddled wait for the viability scan at the clinic next week 🤞🏻x

Zeeha · 17/08/2026 18:00

Joining the bloated crew! My maternity shorts are feeling tight 😳 6+2 and I saw a heartbeat earlier today. Very reassuring after repeated spotting. Darn pessaries! This will be my third child as I have two young daughters who keep me busy 😂 I think my due date with be in April, but birth will likely be in late March given previous complications 😬

TheUniqueMember · 17/08/2026 22:28

I had a weekend away at haven holiday park! It was good for my toddler but I felt sick the whole time so that wasn't fun because I could hardly move around 😭 7 weeks tomorrow 😊 strangely my toddler has been saying baby brother... not even prompted at all.

Leoladyttc1 · 18/08/2026 06:24

@Cornish13 - We're transfer twins ☺️ I had a fully medicated FET on the 29th.

I know it's common but does anyone else get a bit of spotting or discoloured pessary discharge with cyclogest? @Zeeha I saw you mentioned it! It's so disconcerting!!

RowsOfFlowers · 18/08/2026 06:33

I haven’t experienced any spotting with cyclogest, but it is known to cause it as it can irritate things down there!x

Gaily82 · 18/08/2026 11:02

Hi ladies,

TW - MMC, LC.

Congratulations to everyone who has a BFP 🙂 I’m very tentatively joining following a positive test last Friday, although it was quite a faint line. I tested again yesterday morning and it’s slightly darker, but not as dark as I’ve had in the past at this stage, so I’m not sure yet how far things might progress. Right now I would be 4w 4 days by my calculations.

I’m feeling pretty anxious because I had a traumatic MMC in Feb 2025 at 10 weeks, and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. I ended up needing a blood transfusion and it took several months to recover and to find the courage to start trying again. No luck until I got a very faint positive in Nov last year, but the line disappeared the next day and I had a chemical pregnancy.

Since then I haven’t had any success TTC so I had some tests privately and it looked like there was still hope although at my age (43) the odds of conceiving naturally are lower. Eventually I was prescribed Letrozole to try so this was my second cycle and now I’ve conceived naturally. I just feel that I can’t get excited yet, I’m just too worried about something going wrong and it feels like forever until I’ll have more certainty whether things work out. Before my MMC I used to read the Due in September 2025 MN thread but could never bring myself to post on it as I just had a gut feeling that something wasn’t right. This time I’m not feeling quite like that but still worried because I feel like I’m just waiting for something to go wrong.

Hopefully not though….I've been tracking BBT and it’s still elevated (20 DPO). I don’t have many symptoms but have had occasional mild queasiness and the main thing is needing to pee much more often! I have an early scan on 8th September because the hospital offers that with medicated assisted conception, but it feels so far away. I just have to think that this is a different pregnancy and if it’s meant to work out then it will. I do have a 4 year old DD and she’s wonderful so I know I’m already very lucky. That pregnancy was fine and was my first but I feel like this one is going to be full of worry. I also had PND after the birth and just hope this one works out so that I can move forward, try to enjoy the early days of having a baby, and not have all this uncertainty and worry hanging over me all the time about pregnancy.

I saw that there’s a WhatsApp group so will try to join. I was on the July 2022 thread but the WhatsApp group link never worked for me so that was unfortunate! It would be nice to talk to people going through this nervous wait at the same time! Sorry for the long post, but it helps to share and write things down like this. It has been therapeutic.

I’m going to test again tomorrow and see if the line is any darker. If it gets lighter I suppose I should be worried, but if not then hopefully things are moving in the right direction. I was so tempted to test last night but resisted, so I’ll see what the test is like tomorrow. I’ll post a photo here of my tests so far, I’m going to try a different brand aswell.

Thanks for reading and sorry if my MN lingo and abbreviations aren’t quite right! ☺️ I haven’t managed to read the whole thread yet but will as soon as I can.

Just joining, positive test today..In total shock, ftm to a 9 month old and wasn't expecting second to come along so quickly but very much a blessing. Just feeling a bit all over the place, not even back at work yet. Is there a whatapp group set up yet? I was in one for my last pregnancy and it was so so helpful.

Ah lovely!! It’s so daunting isn’t it. I have my viability scan on the 27th and I’m terrified

Sparkly666 · 18/08/2026 21:34

Tentatively joining at 4+4. Fourth pregnancy, one DS, hoping for a sibling for him.
Due 26th April.

MrsHousePlant · 19/08/2026 12:24

Hi!
Currently 6+2 but anxiously waiting as I had a MC in May and a chemical after that. I have a scan a week today so keeping everything crossed 🤞🏻
I have a toddler and the symptoms + parenting have been rough. Thankfully off work for the summer hols but no idea how I’ll cope in September. I’m so nauseous, especially when hungry but then get awful reflux and indigestion when I do eat. It feels like a never ending cycle!

TheUniqueMember · 19/08/2026 18:03

Lower pelvic pressure on my left side.. but now I also have a headache. Should I be worried? 7w+1d

No, these are common early pregnancy symptoms I’d say. My friend is about 16w pregnant and she’s been having headaches. I’ve been having twinges in my belly all day, and feel absolutely wiped out! I’m 7w5d xx
