Welcoming all those who have received their BFPs for a November bubba - congratulations to all!
I felt terrified as not really TTC #2 but thanks to support from the kind ladies of MN I’ve decided to embrace and be excited.

34, baby #2, probably keeping it a surprise(?!) mum to a 7yo DS, hoping only 1 in there as only 3 weeks today and heft symptoms already

@PeaPeaBean Thank you 😊 it's been a rough 7 days already with the shock, symptoms and my job!

Ah no, what's up with the job? I would love to say the symptoms ease, but they just change! At least maybe after the first tri some of the nastiest ones will go x

Sj2505 · 10/03/2026 20:45

Sorry, I thought I replied last night but I can’t seem to find it.

Unfortunately yesterday’s hCG came back at 64, a drop from previous 70>71, so they confirmed that I am miscarrying, I have another hCG in a week’s time. However, today I’ve started bleeding very, very heavily with intense pains. I’ve passed what I believe is the majority of my lining and pregnancy tissue (all in one go, it was horrendous). For now, the bleeding has slowed to what is a light period for me, but the pains are still fairly bad so I don’t know if I’m expecting another big loss.

I will dip out of this thread now, but I wish you all the best and very happy, healthy pregnancies!

I have set this up in case any one is interested. Hopefully we will get a nice sized group, my other one has about 60 members or so! The link is valid for 2 days or 20 clicks and then ill have to send a new one x let me know if it doesn't work!

Peanut90 · 10/03/2026 20:46

@PeaPeaBean I have had to tell my work place straight away due to the nature of my job in Veterinary, it's not something I wanted to do but obviously have had to. Yes I do suffer with terrible nausea on and off anyway so that will hopefully be no worse than what I am use to. Unfortunately I have been spotting a fair bit since Friday so just have to wait until I am able to have a scan. It's not easy to navigate when you have no idea what you are supposed to be doing!

DorsetGirl89 · 10/03/2026 20:58

@Sj2505 I'm so sorry to hear this. That sounds incredibly traumatic. How are you doing? Have you got support? Lots of love and hugs xx

DorsetGirl89 · 10/03/2026 21:04

@Peachesthecat I'm totally with you there. Every time I start getting watery discharge I'm rushing to the loo convinced I'm bleeding. One minute I'm absolutely excited and certain all is going to be fine, the next I'm annoyed with myself for being so optimistic 🫣 Remind me how many weeks you are and when next scan is? I had a similar experience with my scan, she kept saying the gestational sac looked 'unusual' I was near tears before I was out of the chair. Afterwards in the follow up they seemed unconcerned and that it sometimes looks weird at 5 weeks until it's formed properly. I've looked at so many early gestational sac scans on Google to find one that looked like mine 😆 seems there's a fair amount of variation early in size, shape, appearance at this stage and mine was fine. Would've thought they'd hold off on the 'unusual' chat unless they had something to worry about 🫣 this is an absolute rollercoaster for sure. Do you have good support?

Might just be me, but when I click the link it takes me to my Facebook homepage not the group

Sj2505 · 10/03/2026 21:25

@DorsetGirl89 thank you. I think I had been mentally preparing myself, as I just “had a feeling” so thankfully that’s taken the shock away. I’m still obviously very upset, but my OH has been amazing! X

Morning doll, I’m 6 today. Was 5.2 for the scan. She said the sac and yolk were a perfect shape and everything just a couple of mm less than what she would have liked. Hoping and praying it’s caught up by next Friday and there’s something in there! It’s so conflicting as the consultant said don’t worry about that! I always go to the negative though 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 how is everyone this monk g? Xx

@Sj2505 sending lots of love to you xxx

Peachesthecat · 11/03/2026 09:00

Just had more bloods. Something else to wait for 😩😩😩😩

Taysonic · 11/03/2026 09:30

@Sj2505 - I'm so sorry, my love. I truly am. I really hope the pains ease off, which they should as if they should. I'm sure you know this already, but if the bleeding gets really heavy (fills a pad within an hour), then definitely get yourself to A&E to be checked over.

As for me, hcg levels are plummeting - my test line was barely even visible today and gone down to 1-2 on a weeks indicator. Still waiting for the main bleed to happen.

I'm duck out of the thread now. I keep dipping in - out of habit and out of hope for seeing lovely nice news and to have a reminder that there are success stories and good pregnancy experiences out there! But, I think I probably just need to step away now and figure out what's next for me.

Good luck, and I hope you are successfully in a December or January thread soon. That waiting period you're in is just so so tough. Sending you virtual well wishes, and hope you can log off and get a fresh start x

Hello, I just got a positive and feeling so weird about it 😭 I lost a baby at 11 weeks in October and the miscarriage was awful, only ended in January.
Petrified of another loss ans scared to feel excited about the baby!

If all goes well this will be my second living child 🧡

@ScaredPigeon Firstly, congratulations on your pregnancy - that is the main thing here - you are currently pregnant, and need to take a moment to really be happy about that.

Secondly, i'm truly sorry for your previous loss. I cannot understand it and I hope I never fully do, but the wonderful women on this thread have experienced their own losses and difficulties on their journeys, and no matter what, we are all here to support.

I have 0 reason to fret so far, bar a niggle or too last week, but the more I hear of others loss the more aware i've become of just how possible it is, and it's scary. But the only thing in your control is you, so please don't build up anxiety if you can help it, as it will be what it will be, and the stress cannot help you. Be kind to you, and if you need a vent or reassurance or consolation, head on here or over to our FB

Dittoing what @iwasgonnasay has said, there’s a lovely group on this thread. Lots of us have unfortunately experienced losses, so completely understand the anxiety you’re feeling X

LifeByTheSea123 · 12/03/2026 15:28

Has anyone else got barely any symptoms? The only one I have is feeling hot and a raised heart rate. Boobs are not at all sore. If it wasn’t for the positive test I’m not sure I would know.

Sarah268 · 12/03/2026 15:41

@LifeByTheSea123 i haven’t either! I’ve had 2 small waves of nausea, and I feel a bit more breathless when I go running (probably just more unfit!) but that’s it! I was very very nauseous by now with my son
and my boobs had already got a cup size bigger. I am 6+3

Guys I have a weekend away with the in-laws this weekend and I just don’t have the mental capacity to be sneaky right now 🤣😩

@ScaredPigeon welcome & sorry to hear about your loss. Fingers crossed for you. Lots of support here x
