Welcoming all those who have received their BFPs for a November bubba - congratulations to all!
I felt terrified as not really TTC #2 but thanks to support from the kind ladies of MN I’ve decided to embrace and be excited.

34, baby #2, probably keeping it a surprise(?!) mum to a 7yo DS, hoping only 1 in there as only 3 weeks today and heft symptoms already

This pregnancy has been so stressful and gone so quick with constant appointments and monitoring and being worried throughout I’ve gone from wanting it over to then mourning it ending before I could relax. Being induced on Monday if she’s not arrived beforehand and is definitely not what I hoped. Feel overwhelmed, unorganised and dreading a painful slow induction

This sounds tough.

I take it that there are some specific concerns in your case which lead to this decision? Are are you so far ahead?

Unorganised - do you feel that some organisation would do any real good? The whole pregancy feels as a very luck-based experience to.me, and any organising and planning seems as something to distract myself, not as something actually useful.

Hi,
I really relate to this, my pregnancy was already considered high risk through BMI but had a relatively smooth pregnancy with my first and was expecting the same this time round. Unfortunately not!
We had a scare with the babies brain and were under fetal medicine for further investigation as they were concerned about all kinds of disabilities/ incompatibility with life so this was an incredibly stressful worrying time- luckily I had all the investigations and the issue has now resolved!!
I then a little while after that got diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism and have been on mega dose blood thinners for about 7 weeks now but still feeling so breathless and crap. I have low iron too and have fought and fought for an infusion as I needed one after my last birth but this has been refused until at least after birth despite my iron being on the floor 😩 It’s been a horrible pregnancy, physically and mentally and I am done in but also I try to be grateful as I don’t think I will be doing pregnancy again!
I am being induced on Tuesday at exactly 38 weeks due to a number of reasons so I am in the same boat so sending 🫂 I was in the group chat on whatsapp at the beginning but left but I am happy to chat if you’d like to send me a message we can get through this last stretch and induction together! If it’s any help I was induced with my first and had a very positive experience. Sending love xxx

Hugs all the worrying at the end is rough isn’t it, I’m 38+3 today, and as of last night in hospital with suspected preeclampsia. Baby girl is measuring small too, so they want her out sooner. So between the constant monitoring and having steroid injections (really sting!!) I’m just exhausted already 🫣
